They say women need beauty sleep
Before speaking, just think deep
Wasn't I the nurse who stayed awake
All night just because you couldn't breathe?
When all that others did was weep.

They say women should be shy
I don't understand the reason why
Wasn't I the nurse with whom
You dropped your clothes and lay
So that to examine you I could try?

They say women need to wear makeup
Just stop dreaming and wake up
Wasn't I the nurse who rushed in early
Just because there wasn't a trained staff ?
I'm one of the reasons you did get up.

They say women are weak
I don't understand why you're a freak
Wasn't I the nurse that flipped you in bed
When you were too weak to move
And even not in a condition to speak?

They say women need a beautiful hand
I say why are your thoughts so bland?
Wasn't I the nurse who's hand you held
When you were frightened of the needle?
You squeezed my arm, all I did was stand.

They say women need to stay in a limit
I say just open your eyes and face it
I'm not a woman who'll be held down by Unnecessary remarks from the uninformed
If you want to know my limits, race me to it.
