Lily!

The sound of my alarm immediately woke me up from a dream I couldn't even remember . I wiped open my eyes , reached for my night stand and put on my glasses .
   Another day of school.  Well, I love school but people in school just get 'iky' sometimes.
I ran into the shower and had my bath quickly , I needed to be early to school so I could submit my project first and go through some text books. Yes I was that nerdy.

I packed my hair into a pony tail and some strands of my blonde hair still fell beside my ears. I searched through my closet , I pulled out a yellow floral gown , a little above my knee and I put on my regular black pump , finally my glasses . I hated wearing make up and besides my lips were already a bright shade of red.
I took my school bag from my computer table and headed downstairs to the kitchen.

"Morning mum" I said and gave her a peck on her forehead.

"Morning lilz"She smiled and I sat beside Joseph ' my jock brother '

" hey Joseph " I said to him as I grabbed an apple from the basket.

"Its Joe" he said and I rolled my eyes ' always a jerk'

"Can we go to school now ?" I said it more like a statement as I stood up and trashed my barely eaten apple.

"Aren't you getting breakfast ?" She asked as she wiped her hands on her apron.

"Yeah , I already had an apple " I said paying attention to the door , I turned and gave her a warm smile so she wouldn't worry and she nodded genuinely  , Joseph just rolled his eyes at me jerk.

  Happy mum was a fast driver , in some minutes we pulled up in front of Westward High . I came out of the car first then Joseph followed.
"Stay safe lily " my mum smiled at me " and Joseph " she added " no bunking of classes , I'll be early to pick you up today" she smiled and drove off as I waved her .

"And stay away from me nerd" Joseph said dragging the word 'nerd' as he walked away from me then through the gates. Joseph was a year younger than me and yet he was above 6foot with a lanky stature and I was just small old me .

Like usual , I got straight to class and just scribbled down some stuffs from my memory. Some minutes passed and people began trooping in from the front and back door of the class. Within the blink of an eye , the bell was rung and classes began .

"Hey Lilith" Jasmine said as she took her seat beside me.

"Hey jay " I replied , my eyes fixed on the board.

"Uhh" she paused "I couldn't finish my assignment last night " she groaned.
" mum stressed the hell out of me, making me baby sit luan " she sighed and placed her head on her desk .

"You can use mine " I turned to her and smiled and immediately placed my eyes on the board again . with Jasmine? Something always came up.

"Thank you so much , I love you" she squealed quietly and hugged me from my side.

"Yeah, what are best fiends for " I hugged her back with one hand , my eyes were still on the board.

"My mum's having a fashion show today in the evening , wanna come?, Lenny and Lisa are always going to be there" jasmine said as she rolled her eyes.

"You know me jazz. I have lots of stuffs to do including research's " I said trying to avoid the topic. I so hated gatherings .

"Oh lily! , learn to have fun" she sighed "learn to take a break " and she began to wiggle my shoulders but I gave her a NO! Nod

"Fine, have it your way. But I need a favour" she said and we began to walk again.

"What?" I asked as I used my tomb to place my glasses back on my nose bridge.

"Do my homework " she grinned her psycho grin and I rolled my eyes.

"Okay sure" I said and she immediately bear- hugged me.
We began walking further and Jasmine kept on blabbing about how the evening was going to be wonderful.

"Lily, you made mum come so early and now you made me wait , I've got stuffs to do" came Joseph's voice , he was in front of us and Ivan and Caleb were beside him.

"Jerk" Jasmine whispered in my ear.

"Yeah, see you later " I said to Jasmine, ignoring Joseph and watched her walk away . I turned back to Joseph and his gang and Ivan was staring at her, crush. I smiled to myself pulling my bag up my shoulder childishly and walked out of the hall.

Thirty minutes had passed since I got into the car and Joseph said he forgot something making us all wait .
I sighed for the hundredth time

"Go get your brother lily" mum said and I groaned and stamped out of the car immediately.

I walked back into the school building, scanning around for a skinny, tall, sand brown haired boy. Where on earth was he ? , i was about entering into the gym when a hand pulled me into a room beside it , my heart began to Pound.

"Take it easy , I'm not going to devour you" Caleb said with a snort

"You freak you scared me" I palmed his chest and he chuckled."have you seen Joseph " I asked ignoring how close we were.

"Yeah, he's making out with crystal " he smirked and I felt disgusted .

"Grow up " he said as he leaned forward and I moved backwards until I hit the wall . he was starting directly into my eyes.

"Wha...what are you doing?" I stammered.

"You're so pretty" he smirked

"I know!. Now get off me" I tried to push him away but I couldn't. Before I could turn my head to the right his lips landed on mine.
