Maybe this is just a shout into the void—those who understand already do, and those who don't might never. But I felt it was worth sharing here, as I won't be able to respond to individual comment threads on the topic without it feeling repetitive.

I want to acknowledge the concerns raised about the latest chapter. I understand that certain themes, like intense kinks or angry sex, can be difficult to process, especially if they're unfamiliar or unexpected to you. If anyone was triggered by the content, I sincerely apologize. Your well-being matters, and it's never my intention to cause discomfort.

Many readers have shared that they're learning about new concepts through the fics they read, and I know this space often serves as a way to explore different ideas. Sometimes those ideas resonate, and sometimes they don't, which is completely understandable. I recognize that this can feel overwhelming at times, and if this chapter didn't land for you, that's absolutely okay!

I also get that angry sex can feel like it crosses a line for some. However, within the context of UM, both characters are secure in their relationship – despite the fleeting moments of jealousy (if, after 55 chapters, you still feel unsure about their relationship dynamic, it's always okay to skip over the smut scenes or step away from the fic if it doesn't resonate with you). To me, these two have always been impulsive and emotionally driven, often acting before they talk through their feelings (like they have in previous chapters). This chapter reflects that—where their physical connection precedes the emotional processing. Intimacy is not always soft or romantic; it can be intense and passionate, and that's a part of many relationship dynamics in real life. Sex in storytelling, just like in real life, isn't always soft or romantic. It can be complex, passionate, and sometimes even fueled by intense emotions like anger.

That said, I want to address the feedback that implied the dynamics were out of character or non-consensual. I've spent a lot of time building Murtasim and Meerab, and their relationship in this story. Their relationship is rooted in trust, communication, and mutual exploration. Murtasim has always had a darker edge to him, and his dominant side emerging here felt consistent with his character development in UM. He felt secure in this moment because of the love and trust they've built, and Meerab has shown curiosity and comfort in exploring these dynamics before. This scene was a continuation of that journey, not something new or out of place – they have had angry sex before, they have engaged in choking, and spanking, etc.

I understand that not everyone reads fics the same way—some skim or read casually, and things can sometimes get mixed up because there's so many fics people are reading at the same time. But it was disheartening to read comments suggesting that Murtasim doesn't love Meerab or that what happened was somehow not consensual, or was related to Ep 46, especially considering how their relationship has been built over time.

I want to reiterate that I appreciate everyone's POV, even when we don't always agree. Everyone has different limits and interpretations, and that's completely valid. I just ask for some patience, understanding, and for us to refrain from moral policing or for not "getting it", as we all interpret fiction differently.
