"Wait!" I call out to no one. I blink a few times. I'm in my dorm room. Wait... Crap! I hope I didn't wake Maddi. I turn to see Maddi still sound asleep, seemingly hugging her pillow. I smile.

I slowly swing my legs out of bed and begin to silently pace around the room. Why did I have that dream? Well, besides the author making me.

Luna!

What?

The fourth wall! Respect it!

I'm the author, am I not? Now leave the wall alone while I go to Target and get some tape. Don't. Be. Stupid.

I return to my silent pacing.

That was just a dream. It's fine. The Pearl Pendant of Azmerelda doesn't exist. It never has, and never will. Right?

What did that other iso say to me? Ah... why can't I remember? He said... a number. A date? A time? A room code? A serial number? Wait... a date? He did say to all of us that the amulet was at an academy. What if it's this academy? And if he told me a date that they were going to try take over the school?

No that's crazy. There's no way that could have been the case. Right? Ugh. I'm saying that a lot, aren't I?

~~PoV switch~~

I stride down the hall of dreams. All the other isos have started to leave or already left, obviously full of excitement. Laurence, my best friend, catches up to me.

"So... who was that girl you were chattin' to earlier?" he asks inquisitively.

"Which girl, Laurence?" I ask him, playing dumb, "I spoke to a lot of girls tonight."

"You know who I'm talkin' 'bout! The girl with the long, blue hair!"

"I recall no such girl," I continue playing dumb, knowing how much he hates it when I do this. I stare innocently at the furious brunette.

"Ugh! You! Ugh!" he stutters. I laugh. We're the only ones left in the hallway now. His face grows red with frustration. I laugh more.

"Screw you, ₳ṟỊἒᾗ," Laurence says firmly.

"What?" I say jokingly.

"So, in all seriousness, what did you say to her?"

"317," I state.

"Uh, what?"

"She'll know what it means... eventually."

I laugh under my breath. I know what I just did was against the law. Lord Heilbronn will have my head for this, but anything for an old friend... right?

~~Another PoV switch~~

What. Did. He. Say?

I throw the closest object to my hand across the room, then immediately regrating it when it crashes into the wall, making a loud noise and waking up Maddi.

"Luna?" she groans "What are you doing?"

"Shoot, sorry Maddi," I apologise, "I was just... frustrated... about something." It's not a lie. I bet she'd be able to tell if it was. It was just a vague choice of words.

"About what?" Maddi asks me, obviously concerned.

"Uh... just... an assignment."

"Luna, nice try, but you seriously cannot lie."

"Dang it."

"So, what are you frustrated about?"

She gets out of her bed, running her fingers through her knotted hair. I stay silent.

"Is it something you want to talk about?"

I shake my head no.

"Oh. Well that's fine," she says, "But if you ever feel like you can talk to me about it, then I'm happy to listen. I've dealt with people who are anxious before."

It's way more than just anxiety, Maddi.

"Thanks," I say gratefully. I peer out the window at the sky. The sun is only just starting to rise. Why did I get up so early? Grr screw you freaking dream about whatever!!

What did I just say?

LUNA!!!

Ooh! You're in trouble!

Crap.

Don't think I'm gonna let that slide! Now I have to go get MORE tape!!

Oooh Luna. Look what you did! You made Crystal angry!

"Luna?" Maddi's voice snaps me back to reality. Well at least I'm out of that argument.

Lunaaaaaaaaaaaaah!

"Huh?"

"You just spaced out. You okay?"

"Uh..."

*death glares* Grr!

"Yeah. Sorry it was nothing. I was just... uh..."

"It's fine. You don't have to tell me."

Oh, thank god! I do NOT want to have to explain what just happened!

Neither do I.

"Thanks, uh. Let's just, go back to sleep. School doesn't start for, like another three hours," I point out.

"True. Well, night Luna," Maddi gets back in her bed, pulling the covers over her. I do the same, still wondering what on earth he said. I didn't get any sleep.

Alright! I'm back! With the tape!! And I will fix the wall! .......... The chapter already ended didn't it? *le sigh* Oh well. Sorry for the short chapter and the lateness of it. Yes, I know it's only a day late, but I don't like to keep people waiting. I have been rather busy recently. What with Christmas and my birthday coming up soon. ^^

I will publish a chapter next week however it will be coming out on Saturday considering the Sunday is my birthday. Don't expect any other chapters to come out a day early unless I know there will be something on and I can't publish anything on the scheduled day. I will always let you know when my uploading schedule will change either permanently or temporarily.
