My life started off as a lie.

"Aria!" Lloyd calls out.

"Hey, you're going to be late!" Cole adds.

I was an Idol, purely for the sake of my perfect image. I told everyone I loved them; even though I had no idea what love was even like. Whether it was something you gave or something you found.

"I'm coming!" Aria shouts.

"That's what you get for sleeping in!" Jay's laugh echoed up the stairs.

I believed every lie I told, cause to me, lying was the greatest kind of love. At least then, nobody would be hurt.

"You better hurry, I packed your breakfast!" Zane shouts.

"Zane's cooking is seriously the best!" Nya calls out.

I shined the brightest on stage, and nobody could deny that. Despite my appearance, I was truly broken inside. I manipulated my own brother, because I believed he didn't love me. Everyone seemed to blur together, I couldn't even make out who was who.

Until someone came into my life, at first the only color I saw was green.That green... became my favorite color.

Aria ran down the stairs and grabbed a container from Zane before turning to Wu who held out a metal bottle to her.

"Some tea," Wu smiles. "Good luck today."

"Thanks master," Aria takes the cup from him gratefully.

Aria went to rush to the door but was stopped by Lloyd hugging her around the waist.

"Lloydie," Aria laughs. "I gotta go, I'm going to be late."

"It's not fair," Lloyd whines. "We just got back from our honeymoon and you're already back to work. I want to spend more time with my wife."

The ninja laughs.

"Let the girl work Lloyd," Cole says. "You can't monopolize her."

"Yeah, or her fans might come tear down the monastery," Kai snickers.

"I quite like our new house Lloyd," Wu adds as he sips his tea.

Lloyd whines and Aria kisses him on the cheek.

"I'll be back before you know it," Aria tells him.

"Fine," Lloyd kisses her on the cheek. "Love you."

I can happily say, it's no longer a lie.

"I love you too," Aria replies with a smile.

Lloyd lets her go and she runs to the door.

"Well, I'm off!" Aria calls out as she looks back at her family.

"Have a good day!" the ninja wave to her.

Aria runs out of the monastery with a smile on her face, the world better watch out, cause the Overlord's daughter is a pop idol!
