The Omega stands in front of the blackened Realm Crystal, with Aria and Zero in a fighting stance before her.

"You are nothing but children to me," The Omega says.

"Then this should be child's play for you," Aria replies mockingly.

"Watch your tone Oni," The Omega narrows her eyes at Aria, she points her staff at her. "I see the darkness within you, just screaming to be released. Yet you refuse to let them."

Aria's eyes turn to slits as she charges at her.

"Aria!" Lloyd calls out.

The Omega uses her staff to block as Aria's claws came out, Zero rushes forward but stops in shock as the Omega's staff breaks and she moves away from Aria.

"You broke my staff," The Omega states before looking back up at Aria. "Just who are you?"

"You picked the wrong realm to threaten," Aria replies as her dragon claws disappear. "This realm, is mine and your kind isn't welcome here."

"My kind," The Omega shakes her head "you speak as if we are not the same."

"Your right, because we aren't the same," Aria tells her spitefully. "My mother helped create this realm, for the outcasts you claimed were too different to belong in yours."

"I see now," the Omega's broken staff glowed before it was pieced back together. "You two, are her children... my daughter's."

"Ding ding," Zero says mockingly. "You got it right."

"It's a shame it had to be this way children," the Omega sighs before her eyes glowed purple. "You make very good Oni."

The Omega slams her staff in the ground repeatedly, summoning for the Oni to appear. Oni slowly rise out from the ground and take their formation.

"We need to leave!" Garmadon shouts to them.

"There's too many!" Lloyd adds.

Zero grabs Aria's hand and pulls her with them. They run across a bridge, only to find Oni running towards them on the other side.

"We're trapped," Lloyd says as he gets in a fighting position. "We have no choice!"

"Yes, we do," Aria replies as she grabs him by the shoulders.

"What do you-"

"No matter what happens, make it back to the ninja!" Zero pushes Garmadon off the bridge.

Lloyd looks back at Aria "Don't you dare-"

"See you later darling," Aria pushed him off.

 P.I.X.A.L. swoops down and catches the two of them as they fell off. The Samurai X Mech beeps frequently in warning. P.I.X.A.L. looks around for the Destiny's Bounty, and sees they are a distance away from it. She zooms for the Bounty. Garmadon grunted as the mech crashes down on the bounty. Kai, Jay, and Nya run up to Garmadon and Lloyd, while Zane takes care of P.I.X.A.L.

"What happened?" Kai asks.

"A family reunion," Garmadon answers as he looks back at Borg tower.

The ninja looks at Lloyd confused as he also looks back at the tower. At the tower, Zero and Aria were standing back-to-back, fighting off the Oni on both sides of them.

"I don't know how much longer I can keep up!" Zero tells her. "My aura has its limits you know!"

"What kind of attitude it that?" Aria laughs. "If you wanna be emperor, you gotta get better stamina!"

"If I wanted to be emperor, I wouldn't openly advertise you as my sister," Zero replies. "Trending today, next in line for the throne is a deranged psychopath."

Aria jumps to avoid an attack and lands on the Oni's sword, after kicking him in the face, she looks at Zero.

"Well then, if I did want to take over Ninjago, I'd just have to kill you." Aria smiles "And I already know I can do that."

"Killing your older brother to take the throne certainly sounds like something you'd do," Zero puts his sword into the ground and rests his arm on it. "But who'd be your alibi then, sister dear?"

"You think you're my only alibi brother?" Aria laughs. "I have 6 others now."

"You think the ninja would cover you?" Zero chuckles.

"I have a way with words, remember." Aria's eyes glow purple as she jumps off the Oni's sword.

"You're no longer Ninjago's sweetheart," Zero says as he picks up his sword. "I wonder who would dare speak up for you."

"Your words wound me brother," Aria gives him a pathetic look. "You really think I'd go after your head?"

"Yes," Zero throws his sword beside her head, and it hits an Oni approaching from behind her. "If you really wanted Ninjago though, you would've taken it long ago."

"That's true," Aria sighs as she throws an energy beam beside his head, hitting the Oni behind him.

"What is it that you're looking for now?" Zero asks as he pulls the glove on his hand down. "You were hell bent on bringing back mother before, and you're no longer an idol." He walks forwards and stands next to her "So truly sister, what do you want?"

"That..." Aria looks ahead at the Oni "I don't know anymore."

"You don't want Ninjago, you can no longer be an idol," Zero glances at her. "You've decided to let mother rest... what's left."

"That's exactly it," Aria closes her eyes for a moment. "Nothing..." She opens her eyes; they returned back to green. "For the first time in my life... I don't know." She turns to face him "I truly meant what I said before... that without being an idol... I would lose my will to live." Zero's eyes widen and he turns to look at her, Aria stretches her arms as her eyes turn dull. "I don't know... what it is that I want now."

"Well, for now." Zero suddenly grabs her by the waste. "We will live to fight another day!"

"You idiot what are you doing?!" Aria shouts.

Zero jumps off the bridge and Aria screams. After unfortunately losing Cole to the Oni, the ninja returns to the Monastery to form a plan with Wu. A battle begins outside the monastery, with the Oni steadily overwhelming the Ninja and their allies until Cole returns in the Earth Driller. Overjoyed by his return, the Ninja gain a second wind and continue the battle.

To fight The Omega, Garmadon embraces his full Oni side and takes him on, though he's still overpowered.

"You are Oni" the Omega whacks Garmadon away "But only in form. In your heart, I sense uncertainty and doubt" she strikes the staff at him, flying him back up the steps. "Part of you longs to understand these pitiful beings" Garmadon is down. The Oni walks up to Garmadon "To be one of them. Your hopes weaken you" she whacks Garmadon again.

Garmadon loses his Oni form, and lies on the steps, weakened.

"Father!" Lloyd runs up to Garmadon.

Lloyd helps Garmadon up as the Oni push the ninja back towards the monastery.

"Fall back! Everyone, fall back now!" Lloyd shouts

The Ninja, Faith, and Master Wu run back to the monastery.

Nya kicks an Oni before leaving "Copy that!"

The Oni chase after the Ninja who close the doors behind them. Cole uses his Lava Arm to put up the barricade on the door. Faith and P.I.X.A.L. take up a stance in front of the citizens. The door rattles, under the banging of the Oni.

"That's not going to last forever" Cole says.

Cole's last word echoes in Jay's mind as he glances at Nya "Nya" he turns to her and takes off his hood "I have to ask you something important."

"What? Now?" Nya questions as she throws off her hood.

"Yes, now" Jay gets down on one knee, puts his nunchucks on the ground, inhales slowly, and starts talking rapidly. The rest of the Ninja and Master Wu turn to look at him.

"Nya, you make me so happy everyday" Jay says, Nya shakes her head and stares at Jay, confused "When we're not together, I miss you so much that it feels like part of me is missing" Pulls out the token, and splits it in half, holding one half out to her "Will you be my Yang?"

Nya gasps, taking the token from Jay.

Cole comes up behind Nya "Now you're asking?!"

Kai joins Cole "We seriously need to talk about your sense of timing, Jay!"

Nya looks at Jay, and throws her spear away "Yes!" she jumps into Jay's arms and hugs him "Of course! Yes, yes, yes!"

The doors and the barricade slowly breaks down. Jay picks up his nunchucks.

"Nya, Jay, it's been fun, guys" Cole says.

Zane nods "It has been an honor."

The ninja all smile as well.

"We're gonna go out with a bang" Jay jokes.

Darkness climbs in over the walls of the monastery.

Kai laughed "Alright let's give 'em—"

"A tornado!" Lloyd suddenly shouts.

"Yeah! Let's give 'em a tornado!" Kai starts to run, comes back, and then looks at Lloyd "Uh—wait, what?"

"What's the opposite of destruction? Creation!" Lloyd points to the Pilot Episodes painting "Don't you get it? Creation—the Tornado of Creation! It's the one thing that can overcome darkness and defeat the Oni—the power of Creation! But all of us this time, or it won't work."

"How do you know?" Jay questions.

"Yeah. It was a miracle it worked the first time!" Kai shouts

"All of us together, it's gotta work" Reika says "we got nothing else to lose..."

Jay holds out his hand to Nya "We're one now, Nya. Care to join?" She takes his hand.

"Wait, it has to be all of us" Lloyd looks at Garmadon.

Garmadon crossed his arms "I am not one of you."

"You're as much a part of the elements of any of us," Lloyd tells his "there can't be light without darkness."

"I'm not your elemental master of darkness," Garmadon argues. "Go find her."

Garmadon walks away, the Oni break down the doors and step into the monastery.

"Here goes nothing!" Cole shouts

"Ninja, GOO!!" They all spin except for Garmadon

Garmadon watches the Ninjas' Spinjitzu as the Oni march in. He sees the darkness cover up Lloyd in the Sons of Garmadon painting, and he looks back at the Oni. Garmadon sighs before doing Spinjitzu and joins the group. Everyone's Spinjitzu tornadoes merge into one, forming the largest Tornado of Creation. It creates a light and explodes.

Lloyd wakes up and gasps, he finds himself in spacious grasslands.

"What?" Lloyd looks around confused.

He heard a roar and look over to see the First Spinjitzu Master's dragon.

"Hello, Lloyd" he turns to see who is calling him, it was an old man that resembled the first spinjitzu master "Do you like my dragon?"

"You," Lloyd kneels "You're the First Spinjitzu Master."

"No, no, please—no kneeling" the First Spinjitzu Master holds his hands out to Lloyd, Lloyd takes his hand and the First Spnjitzu Master helped him to his feet "Lloyd, you have done so much for Ninjago. If anyone should kneel, it should be I."

"What is this place? What happened?" Lloyd asks.

"You have faced destruction with dignity and courage, and you responded with creation and love." the First Spinjitzu Master pets his dragon "There is no greater response."

"But... why am I here?" Lloyd asks.

"I brought you here Lloyd, to say thank you for all you have done" the First Spinjitzu Master replies "Life is balance, you are balance. Endings are never really endings, only new beginnings. And you have given us all a new beginning. The future is what we make of it, and you refused to let our future end in darkness" Petals surround them "Well done, Lloyd Montgomery Garmadon."

The First Spinjitzu Master takes of his hat, kneels, and bows to Lloyd.

"Thanks, but—well, I don't really understand any of this," Lloyd says looking confused.

The First Spinjitzu Master stands up and boards his dragon "I wanted to give you the choice to come with me."

"Come with you... where?" Lloyd asks.

"That is a secret, but you will be happy there." The First Spinjitsu Master turns to Lloyd "Or you can return to your friends and take up your duties as a ninja again."

Lloyd looks around "Will I remember any of this?"

"You will think it was a dream. In time, you will forget all about it" the First Spinjitzu Master holds out his hand. "The choice is yours, Lloyd."

"...I won't.. see her again," Lloyd mutters.

"I've heard you've taken a liking to her," the First Spinjitzu Master chuckles lightly. "At first I thought it was odd... but deep down.. she is a good kid."

"Wait, you know who I'm talking about?" Lloyd questions.

"You could say her mother is an old friend of mine." The First Spinjitzu master smiles. "There is a scar that runs deep in her heart, and I believe you are the only one able to heal it." He looks into the distance "But I'm afraid it's time for me to go now."

Lloyd turns his head to see a woman standing in the distance, waving to the First Spinjitzu master.

"So, Lloyd," The First Spinjitzu master turns to him. "As I said, the choice is yours."

The darkness clears up in Ninjago City and The First Realm. The citizens of Ninjago wake up from their trance and move around. The Golden Weapons' lights die out, de-powering them. The Ninja groans.

"Ow" Nya runs up to Jay and hugs him, he looks around "We're alive" Jay laughs "We're alive!"

Cole picks himself up, grunting he looks and sees Kai under a piece of the door "Kai!" He throws it off of him and helps him up.

"Where's Lloyd?" Kai asks worriedly.

They see Lloyd lying on the ground, with several parts of the doors on him. They run over and throw the door off Lloyd before carrying him out.

"Lloyd!" they shout

"Lloyd wake up" Kai shakes them

"He's- He's not moving!" Nya shouts

Wu runs over and lifts Lloyd's arms.

"You can do something, right?" Jay asks "Right?!"

"There is nothing to be done" Wu replies sadly

Nya sobs as everyone stares at Lloyd, saddened. Kai puts his hand on Wu's shoulder. Garmadon stares at Lloyd and starts to back away. Lloyd then starts to breathe, and cough. Everyone cheers and hugs each other.

Lloyd sat up "Where am I? Where's Aria?"

"Don't you remember?" Nya questions.

"Yeah. You had us worried there for a sec." Kai says

Lloyd looked around "But... the First Spinjitzu Master... he was..."

"You must have hit your head pretty hard," Cole says helping him stand.

"Let's get you inside, huh?" Jay smiles.

As the ninja move Lloyd inside, Wu looks at Garmadon and smiles. Garmadon looks back at him before walking away.

Wu sighs sadly "Goodbye, Brother."

Later on, the doors of the monastery open up to Master Wu, Misako, Mistake, Dareth, P.I.X.A.L., Faith, Skylor, Karlof, Cyrus Borg, Gayle Gossip, The Postman, and the monks waiting. The ninja exits the building and Master Wu bows.

The Ninjas each dip a hand into a paint and line up to press their hand onto the wall, creating a new painting—the symbol of destiny—for the mural. P.I.X.A.L., Skylor, and Misako join up with the Ninja to look at the mural. Skylor winks at Kai and everyone cheers.

"Looks like you got your own hall of fame,"

"Ah!" Lloyd jumps, startled, before turning around to see Aria.

"Did I scare you?" Aria laughs.

"You're okay," Lloyd hugs her tightly and suddenly, knocking them both over onto the ground.

The ninja laugh at them as Aria looks at Lloyd surprised.

"What's with that reaction?" Aria questions.

"I was so scared when you pushed me off like that!" Lloyd shouts while holding onto her tightly still, refusing to let go. "Don't ever do that again...."

"Okay," Aria agrees with a smile while wrapping an arm around him. "Sorry."

Lloyd stood up slowly and helped her up, looking embarrassed.

"Did you get that?"

"Mhm,"

Lloyd glances over at Gayle who was talking to her camera man. He went to say something when Aria grabbed his arm.

"It's okay," Aria tells him.

"But you don't want them taking your pictures," Lloyd looks confused. "They'll put something-"

"What, they'll say we were hugging in public?" Aria giggles. "So what," She holds his arm "let them take as many pictures as they want. After all, I'm with you, aren't I?"

Lloyd smiles as he pats her head "Yes."

Aria hugs his arm as the two walk over and stand beside the ninja looking at the mural.

"You know," Lloyd mutters to her. "You look just like your mother."

"Huh?" Aria looks up at him.

"I mean it," Lloyd says as he looks back at the mural. "You always idolized your mother, so I thought you'd be happy to know, you look just like her. But you're prettier."

"How do you know what my mother looks like?" Aria questions, confused.

"Saw it in a dream," Lloyd replies rubbing his head with his free arm. "I think."

"Hm," Aria looks back at the mural, specifically the one of her as a dragon "I look just like mama, do I?"
