"Nobody's better than me!"

Garmadon and Aria's battle continued as Zero and Harumi were taking cover on opposite sides of the rooftop. They kept peeking out only to quickly duck down to avoid being caught in the crossfire.

"This is insane," Zero mutters as he peers out again.

Garmadon and Aria were completely absorbed in their fight to even bother noticing anything around them. Zero ducked as a blast went right over his head. Meanwhile, everyone else goes to the top of their hideout, where Skylor uses the dark powers and struggles to control the Colossus.

"You can do this." Lloyd encourages. "Feel the power."

Skylor takes control slowly "I'm... doing it."

"Get them!"

The group looks down as the Sons of Garmadon ran towards the building. Skylor concentrates for a while before the Colossus suddenly stops and turns towards the Sons of Garmadon.

"I got it!" Skylor says happily.

"Yes!" Lloyd cheers.

"Let's go!" Nya smiles.

Ultra Violet Puts on the Oni Mask of Hatred, and she punches the Colossus.

"I wanted to do this for a long time," Skylor uses the Colossus to pick up Ultra Violet and flings her.

Killow puts on Oni Mask of Deception and throws cars up at the Colossus. The Colossus hits cars back down at him, cars land on him, and the mask falls off. He picks up the mask, only to find it broken. Skylor turns the Colossus towards Borg Tower.

"Alright," Skylor says "Let's take care of this!"

Garmadon was too focused on keeping Aria at bay, that he didn't even notice the Colossus climbing up the tower.

"Aria!" Zero calls out to her, as he did notice.

Aria laughs as she knocks Garmadon away and he swipes at her.

"Aria!" Zero calls out again. "We gotta-"

Aria looks over at the Colossus as it reached the top, Garmadon looks up at it in shock. Skylor swings the Colossi's hand down at Garmadon and he holds his hand up to stop it. Skylor panics as Garmadon growls and began to take back control of the Colossus.

"I am the emperor; I am the Destructor!" Garmadon slowly gains control of the Colossus "You think you can take what's mine?! I am in control!"

Skylor struggles to bring Colossi's hand down to hit the tower again.

"Something's wrong," Nya says worriedly as Skylor continues to struggle.

Both Skylor and Garmadon lose control. The Colossus falls down, and people run away screaming. Garmadon gains control and walks the Colossus towards them. Garmadon puts his hand up to absorb Aria's sudden attack on him.

"That's right," Garmadon laughs. "I am.. the emperor."

Skylor tries to regain back her control "I can hold on" The Colossus turns towards Garmadon. Skylor shakes off the power in pain.

"It's hurting her!" Nya panics "Skylor you have to stop!"

Skylor tries to come over her pain "I-"

Garmadon tries to regain his control. The Colossus wobbles and crashes into a building. The Colossus struggles between Skylor and Garmadon.

Skylor is in pain "Ehh-"

"Let go, Skylor! Let go!" Nya shouts as Skylor's eyes turn purple.

"She can't" Lloyd pulls Skylor away from the side of the building. 

"His power will kill her," Mistake tells them. "Skylor, let go."

Skylor finally let's go of her control and loses consciousness. Nya quickly catches her as they look back at the Colossus turning towards them.

"Shit," Lloyd mutters.

"We need to go!" Mistake pulls Lloyd.

Lloyd looks back at the tower where Aria looked pissed. The group ran to escape from the colossus. At the tower, Garmadon laughs as Harumi and Zero both slowly came out of hiding.

"You see!" Garmadon looks at Aria. "It doesn't matter how hard you fight! I will always win!"

Aria stayed silent as she stared down Garmadon. Zero reached his hand out towards Aria only for it to be deflected away by her power.

"Ow- Aria," Zero rubs his hand before looking back at his sister. "Um, are you there?"

Harumi stood by Garmadon as Aria's power pulsed around her. Garmadon powered up again before Aria's dragon wings ripped out of her back.

"Fuck!" Zero ran towards the stairs panicked "No no no no no no." He ran down the stairs as fast as possible. "They really did it now!"

Zero ran through the city looking for Lloyd and the others "Shit! Lloyd!"

In the city, the Sons of Garmadon are attacking Lloyd, Mistake, Nya, and Dareth while Skylor was still unconscious. 

Nya punches members of the SoG back "Get us out of here, Dareth!"

Dareth's trying to swing a member of SoG off his back "I don't exactly have a free hand at the moment."

A vortex opens and everyone gasps, looking up to see Dragons flying out.

"Hahahaha. We did it! We held out!" Lloyd cheers with the others.

The Sons of Garmadon ran as the dragons attacked. Firstbourne lands and Wu backflips on to the ground. Master Wu turns, smiling.

"Master Wu?" Lloyd questions

"When I was an old man, I was wise to avoid a fight. But today, I'm not an old man" Wu smiles

The Ninjas' Dragons land. Lloyd, Nya, Kai, Jay, Zane, and Cole run up to each other, screaming for joy.

"Oh, look at us! The gang is back!" Cole shouts happily.

"But where are P.I.X.A.L. and Misako?" Zane asks.

"Locked away in Kryptarium," Lloyd replies.

"What about Aria?" Cole questions.

Lloyd turns around and points up at Garmadon's tower where a large black dragon was now on top of, fighting with Garmadon.

"She can turn into a dragon?!" Jay shouts.

"Well, the Overlord was a dragon," Wu states.

The group turn their heads as they see Zero running towards them.

"Oh good," Zero huffs as he stops and catches his breath. "I finally found you."

"What's happening up there?" Mistake asks.

"Oh, you know, just the end of the world." Zero answers sarcastically. "Two dark lord's fighting driven by pure hatred and rage."

"It is the Oni inside them," Wu says "Oni are driven by the fight."

"We have to stop them!" Zero shouts as he turns to him. "Aria's completely lost all her senses, I can't even get through to her. She's in full Overlord mode and that's no joke!"

"Have you tried talking to her?" Lloyd asks.

"Oh, no, why didn't I-" Zero grabs onto his shoulders looking annoyed "Of course I have!"

The group was started by a large beam going off, spitting the building beside Garmadon's clean in half.

"See!" Zero shouts.

"That's really not good," Mistake says, her eyes full of worry.

"Alright.." Lloyd turns to the others "I will handle my father."

"What?!" Kai shouts.

"Are you sure?" Zane questions.

"I have to," Lloyd nods "I think I can get through to Aria too before she goes on a rampage." He turns to the others "Please, I need to do this."

The ninja nod as they turn to look at the Colossus.

"Leave the scraps to us then," Kai smiles "We know how to deal with big guys."

 Lloyd and Wu climb onto Firstborne's back as he ninja set off to take care of their roles. Firstbourne flies the two towards the Borg Tower, dodging stray beams from the battle.

"Tell me you know how to defeat him," Lloyd says.

"Only a fool thinks he knows everything." Wu replies. "I admit I know nothing! How this will end, is beyond me."

Firstbourne drops Master Wu and Lloyd off before flying away.

"I will distract my brother as you calm Aria," Wu tells him. "Are you sure you can bring her back?"

"Uh, yeah." Lloyd replies as he peers up at the rampaging dragon. "I think so."

The two climb up onto the tower as Aria and Garmadon's beams were clashing, Lloyd and Wu shielded themselves before the two powers canceled each other out. Garmadon charged forward only to be blocked by Wu.

"Hello brother," Wu says.

"You," Garmadon growls.

Aria lunged forward towards Wu and Garmadon, Lloyd jumped in front of her, getting scratched by her claws on his chest. Aria's dragon eyes widened as she jumped back, Lloyd hissed as he put his hand over his chest.

"Okay, that wasn't part of the plan," Lloyd mutters in pain.

Garmadon uses his power to create his own four mini swords. Wu runs up the wall and jumps down, pushing him back. Aria growled lowly as Lloyd stood back up, facing her.

"Hey," Lloyd walked towards her slowly "It's okay."

Aria opened her mouth as a beam formed.

"Aria, it's me." Lloyd says calmly as he continued to walk towards her. "You know who I am."

Aria's beam disappeared as she closed her mouth and stared at him, another low growl coming from her. Lloyd raised his hand up slowly.

"It's okay," Lloyd repeats as he places his hand on her nose. "You don't have to fight anymore."

Garmadon strikes Master Wu in the stomach, bouncing him back. Wu charges at him and attacks, Garmadon blocking each of his moves. Aria's purple eyes turned back to green before she closed her eyes. Lloyd put his forehead against her.

"You did great," Lloyd tells her. "I'm proud of you Ari."

Aria transformed back to her human form before collapsing from exhaustion. Lloyd quickly caught her and placed her down at a safe distance before turning to Wu and Garmadon's fight.

"What have you become?!" Wu shouts.

"Time has treated you well. You think Father's sword can hurt me?" Garmadon questions.

Wu grunts "No. But it can hold you!"

Lloyd jumps down to join the fight as Garmadon blasts Master Wu from the tower with his power. 

"Master Wu!" Lloyd shouts.

Firstbourne catches Master Wu as Lloyd turns back to his father. Garmadon picks Lloyd up and throws him to the ground, then picks up the Dragonbone Blade. Lloyd dodges one of Garmadon's attacks.

"This isn't what your father wanted Ninjago to be. H.e left his world to make a better place. He fought to restore the balance!" Lloyd shouts

"Ninjago isn't built on balance! It's built on...power! And controlled by he who possesses it!" Garmadon replies.

Lloyd knocks the Dragonbone Blade off Garmadon's hands and switches his sword for it "No matter what you've done, or what you've become, I have to believe this isn't you. You can change!"

"Youthful ignorance! People don't change. They only reveal who they truly are!" Garmadon shouts.

"You're wrong!" Lloyd shouts.

Garmadon made Lloyd drop the sword off the building.

"Get up and fight me." Garmadon commands "Get up! Fight me!"

"No." Lloyd shakes his head "It's the fight that fuels you. I can not fight you... but I can resist you."

The more Lloyd refuses to fight, the more power Garmadon lost, until he had none.

"My power...where is it?" Garmadon attempts to use his powers.

Lloyd's green power is finally back and the Colossus starts to crumble.

"No! You still have to finish it!" Garmadon shouts.

"It's over" Lloyd declares as Garmadon falls to the ground.

"It's not over. But when they come, it will be." Garmadon says "My power.. it was the only thing that could battle back the darkness from devouring us all. But you took that away. And now everything will be gone.."

"Who will come?" Lloyd asks.

"You'll see. And when they come, nothing will be left" Garmadon chuckles.

Lloyd shakes his head before walking away from his father. Aria was laying against the wall, asleep as Lloyd smiles slightly and put his hand on her cheek. Later that day, the Sons of Garmadon are all being arrested.

"Well, I hope you scum took care of Kryptarium." the Commissioner says. "I know some cells that have opened up."

Wu arrive with Garmadon, Lloyd stood beside him carrying Aria on his back. "Do you have room for one more?"

The police run toward Garmadon.

"Lloyd! Wu!" Kai shouts.

The ninja and Zero run over to them.

"Aria!" Zero calls out.

"Shut up," Lloyd uses one of his hands to push him away. "She's sleeping."

The Commissioner smiles "Thank you, Ninja, for saving Ninjago. Again."

"They will come!" Garmadon shouts.

He's thrown into the truck as the Commissioner turns to the ninja, looking at Aria on Lloyd's back.

"Um," Lloyd says nervously. "I don't suppose you can pardon a criminal for helping save Ninjago, can you?"

"Well," the Commissioner turns to Zero "What does the knight commander think about it?"

"Hm?" Zero raises an eyebrow "Me?"

"Until the royal succession is figured out, you would be the one in charge sir." the Commissioner smiles "So, do you think you can pardon her?"

"Hm.." Zero looks in thought.

"Zero!" the ninja all shout with a disapproving look.

"I'm joking," Zero put his hands up "yes, of course."

The ninja cheer as Lloyd looks back at Aria who was still unconscious on his back. Zero holds his arms out and Lloyd let him take Aria off his back.

"We better get to work," Jay sighs.

"Take care of her," Lloyd says. "I want to see her when she wakes up."

"I'll pass along the message," Zero nods.

The next day the Ninja helped clean up Ninjago.

Cole groans "We saved Ninjago. Can't we get a day off?"

"We helped break it; we help rebuild it" Lloyd says.

"Ninja! Trouble!" Wu runs in, they see he is an old man again "Come quick!"

"Already?" Kai questions.

"I'm still sore from our last adventure" Jay whines.

Wu leads them outside where everyone is celebrating, and the Weekend Whip is playing.

The Commissioner walks over to them "I already thanked you, but the people want to thank you also."

The ninja ran to celebrate with the people. Lloyd smiled as he watched them before he felt someone tap his shoulder. Lloyd turned around to see Zero.

"Hey," Lloyd greets awkwardly.

"Hey," Zero replies, after a moment of silence he points to a building behind them. "So, she wants to see you."

Lloyd peers behind him to see Aria standing in the ally, she waves at him. Lloyd's eyes widen before he quickly runs towards her. Cole turned his head to see Lloyd running off towards her, he smiles slightly before turning back to the others.

"Aria!" Lloyd ran towards her and hugged her.

"Lloydie!" Aria says happily as she hugs him back.

"Is everything okay?" Lloyd asks worriedly. "Why are you hiding over here?" He put his hand on her cheek "Your scar's gone."

"...well.. I'm not very.." Aria glances out at the people before looking back at Lloyd with a smile. "I didn't want to spoil the party by showing my face."

"What do you mea.." Lloyd trailed off as he remembered when she was hauled off to jail. "Oh.." He shakes his head "But you helped save Ninjago, nobody can-"

"When a star falls from the sky, they explode." Aria cut him off with a sad look in her eyes.

"Then..." Lloyd grits his teeth before holding her hand "it doesn't matter."

"Hm?" Aria tilts her head.

"Because that means, I'll be the only one to look at you from now on." Lloyd tells her "Stars burn, but they're still just as beautiful." Aria blushes as she looks away from him, Lloyd smiles as he wraps his arms around her. "I love you Aria, I've seen you through your worst and your best. So," He interlocks their fingers as he looks into her eyes "Do you believe me now?"

A tear runs down Aria's face as she smiles "Yes!"
