Any way..here's chapter 11

Its 2 a.m. and I'm still not asleep. My conversation with Tyler is haunting me. I needed to find out who this Amber is. Its none of my business, I know, but maybe I could break down his walls so he can be happy again.

Why am I so worried about his happiness? I never worry about other people. They all turn out to be jerks or backstabbing liars.

Laying here isn't going to help me any so I go take a shower. Thinking I had been in there long enough I get out to see its only 2:26. So I blow dry my hair and curl it in loose bouncy curls. I look at the clock, 2:58. Man its still not morning. This is gonna be a long night.

Just then my stomach growls at me, reminding me I didn't have dinner. What the heck, Starbucks is open all night, might as well go.get me a muffin and some coffee. Putting on a long Led Zeppelin tshirt and slipped on some short shorts, and stuffing my feet in my Ugg boots, I grab my cell phone and a twenty. Stuffing them in my pockets, I sneak out the door.

Once outside, I power walk to Starbucks. Its really dark out here and I don't know this town well enough to be comfortable in the dark, but I make it there.

The guy behind the counter is half asleep, so I had to retell him my order like five times. Waiting for my order, I look around the place. There's an old lady sitting in one corner alone, a couple little farther away from her, making out. That was it for the night owls.

Once I get my food, I go sit in another corner booth. I check my facebook, totally absorbed in what's there, and eat my delicious chocolate muffin.

Just then the door opened and two people walk in. Guess who? Brayden and some girl I didn't know. She looks to be a sophmore. Really how low can this guy get? She's got nothing on Candy. Jerk, he is.

The girl runs off, after giving him a big smack on the cheek, to the ladies room. He noticed me and raised his eyebrows at me. Uh oh I'm dead. I didn't even get to say goodbye to my friends and mom. He walks towards me, grabbing my arm. I squeak. Wow I didn't even know I could sound like a mouse being stepped on. But all he does is drag me out the door.

"What. The. Heck!?" I scream at him. "Don't kill me please." He holds my mouth shut, muffling my scream.

"Shut up, will you?" Now its my turn to raise my eyebrow at him. "I need your help. Please." He said.

Did mine ears decieve me? BrayBray needs my help? And please is in his vocabulary? I give in.

"Sure but wat..." my sentence is cut off. He starts dragging me towards who knows were.

"Run." is all he says.

So I run. It feels good running again and he seems surprised that I can keep up with him. So he picks up his pace. So do I. He must not know that I was in track ever since the 4th grade.

Finally we stop. Looking around I see where at some sort of park. But with no playground. Yes I sound like a little kid. No I don't care.

Both of us breathing hard, we fall down on the grass. Its soft and there's a great view of the sky, were the stars are shining brighter then I've ever seen them.

Catching my breath, I ask "Why were we running?"

"Cause Meredith scares me." he said.

"But what does this have to do with me?" I say.

Ignoring me, he says,"This was our first "date" and she's already naming children. I just had to get away."

Laughing, I ask "What did she come up with?"

"Dean Summers and Loly Winter." We lock eyes and start laughing. For a long time we can't stop.

Finally we do though. He pulls out and checks his phone. Groaning, he shows me the screen. It was a message from Meredith saying

'Braybray where did you go?'

Then another one pops up.Reading it together it said-

'The chasier said you left with that new chick. How could you do that to us and our unborn children. Its over'

"Wow she's bold. But stupid for using my nickname for you." Is all I can get out before his phone beeps again.

This time it says-

'I'm sorry bray, I didnt mean it. Please call me'

So he turns his phone off. We lay there in comfortable silence.

Breaking it, I said, "So I heard you broke up with Candy."

"Yeah I did."

"Why?"

"Look shes a good girl. I'm not good. It would never work out between us anyways. I broke it off to not get her hopes up. She deserves better." he says. I'm surprised actually.

"She has someone better, Travis." I tell him.

"Seriously, the nerd?"

"Hey he's a nice guy. Leave them alone." Its silent again. This time he breaks it.

"You know your not as bad as I thought. I figured you were just another stuck up, who thinks she owns the world."

Laughing, I say, "You don't even know even a little bit about me. And you never will BrayBray."

"Ouch" he laughs.

No this is not the part were we tell each other our deepest secrets and fall in love. Yes he's hot and all but really? Me and him? No. Just no.

Using his arm as a pillow, we just lay there and look at the stars. Somehow we both fall asleep.

I feel water splattering on my face and clothes. It must of starting raining sometime at night. But why am I getting wet? Oh right Im sleeping outside with Brayden. Wait what? We must of woken at the same time and we both jump up. Were both soaking wet.

"Why are we wet?" we blurted out, again at the same time. Someone cleared there throat. We both looked at who it was.

"Oh shit!" I say. "Tyler, look I can explain."

"Teddy please. Spare yourself. I can honestly tell you what's going on. The dates off." He says walking away. Great I screwed it up with him again.

"Well that went well." Brayden said. I smack him in the chest. "Ow!"

"Shut up."

I sit down, checking my phone. Its 1 in the afternoon already. 21 messages in all. Most from mom and Luke wondering if I was ok. I sent then both a message saying I was. The last one was from Snickers.

Hey teddybear. there's a party going on at Jakes house. want to go?

           This early?

Yeah see we got nothing else to do so be there

        Il get ready and be on my way.

You better.

"Want to come to the party?" I ask Brayden.

"Sure. My house is just a block away. My sister probably has clothes that fit you. So lets go."

"You have a sister?" I ask.

"Mandy. She's in college with Steven. They've been dating for 3 years."

"Shoot. Crap. O my gosh. I didn't know."

"What? I'm guessing you slept with him to?"

"Uh huh." I say, nodding my head.

"Eh what she don't know wont hurt her." he said, earning himself another slap to the chest. Almost hurt me more than him.

Wonder what this early party is gonna bring?
