IT WAS JUST HIM AND HIS FRIENDS. He convinced them to leave along with him after being shunned because he was different. Their people turned against his friends as well because they sided with him and got that reason alone, he was able to convince them to leave with him.

They always wondered what was life outside of their strange land and so once they traveled out of their realm, they ended up in the enchanted forest where they encountered a purple mist heading their way. The three friends weren't sure of what was happening but they knew it wasn't good. Even though they ran like hell, it wasn't enough for them to save themselves.

The next thing they knew, they were in a town. They were living different lives now, years had gone by. Just like everyone else who was in the enchanted forest, their memories of their land was wiped clean. They played different roles in this so called town called Storybrooke that was created by the evil queen for reasons that no one may understand.

Since Bryan did not remember anything of his past or how he doesn't have a soulmate, his persona did have a liking towards someone and that was non other than sweet ole Mary Margaret who is also known as Snow White. In this land, he was a teacher just like her.

But what happens when all their memories come back and the curse is broken? Will Bryan still have those feelings? Will he ever find his soulmate? Or will he compete for the heart of Snow White against Prince Charming?
