Although during lunch I rushed home to find my mother she had to know. She is the one who gave me the necklace after all. When I got home there she was on the couch and dad was gone.

"Mom we need to talk" I said

Her eyes held knowledge and knowing behind them this was it she knew something that I didn't and that angered me some more.

"I figured it would happen sooner or later you are almost seventeen" she said

"Mom it was so weird I felt this overwhelming amount of anger and then my necklace it glowed green and and" I began

She stopped me and at me down next to her before taking a deep breath, yeah she definitely knew what was happening to me.

"Honey magic is real, you come from a long line of magic users or in short terms witches and wizards, I know I should have told you sooner and should have sent you to the school but it was too dangerous with the one who shall not be named out there hunting you and others like you, I promise to tell you everything and next year you can go to the school if you want but only if it's really truly safe" she said

"Witches what are you talking about mom?" I asked shocked and partly in denial

"Oh for fucks sake child, drink this" she said handing me a weird bottle

Where she got it from I'd never know but it looked nasty so I said no. She then forced it down with a roll of her eyes and then everything went black. Soon memories and knowledge filled my mind about our kind. Witches and wizards, a war, death and loss so much of it and blood everywhere. A boy with a scar came into view by the name of Harry Potter. A school for witches and wizards like us called Hogwarts. It was a giant castle located in London with many other witches and wizards alike. There was my mom and father fighting against a man with pale skin. He was fast and magical but he was different and had fangs he was a vampire. There were wolves and more I was brought back to reality with a sudden gasp.

"You lied to me all my life" I stood anger flowing through me

"Your colors are green and silver aren't they" she said

"That's not the point mother the point is you lied to me about everything, does dad know is he a wizard too" i snapped

"Honey calm down or your magic will take hold" she said

I ripped the necklace off my neck causing her to gasp as I threw it at her feet. I felt a rush of emotion and energy run through me. And suddenly my hands sparked green and silver colors. I gasped and my mother stood instantly and backed away a few steps.

"You must control it or he shall come for you for us" she said

"No I can use this, I can protect the kids and save Will" i said

"You know don't you?" She asked

"You do too" i said

"He's been taken to the upside down and he might not be able to be saved" she said

"No I will save him or die trying" I said and went to walk off

"You shouldn't return to school honey, your magic is flowing through you and you can't tell anyone about this not even Eddie" she said

"I wouldn't tell Eddie he can't know about this stuff mom he'd be in danger" i said

"Even though your his girlfriend you wouldn't tell him?" She asked

"How did you know that?" I asked

"You slept with him didn't you?" She asked

"How dare you go into my private life mother it's none of your business" i snapped

Suddenly she slapped me and I gasped in surprise at the fact she actually hit me just now.

"Don't talk to me like that Margareta you have no right to speak to me that way and I have ever damn right to know if your busy having sex with the boy across the damn street" she snapped

"Yes we had sex mother happy now is that what you wanted to know" I snapped

"You did what" my fathers voice came from behind me

Shit this isn't going to end well, I began to freak out with each step he took closer to me. And once he was within arms length he began to grab me. My mother did nothing but watch as my father beat the shit out of me. I hated this and suddenly my magic took hold and I threw him off me. My mother smirked down at me then looked at my father with guilt on her face. I tired to get up but failed until the third try when I then rushed to my room with all the strength I could possibly muster up. I locked my door and by now the arguing and the beating plus the magic it was past school hours. It began to get dark and suddenly my phone rang the only phone I have in my room that's mine.

"Hello" I said

"Eve where were you today?" Nancy asked

"I can't talk now Nancy it happened again, and I'll have to try sneaking out" i said

"We'll meet me and Jonathan at his house" she said

"Deal" i said and with that ended the call
