Both OCs based off of "Drunken Whaler" from Dishonored

Kaibutsu:

Captain Rei and her crew were feared pirates. Though they often raided towns, cities, and countries, they also did some good to make up for it, though everyone saw nothing but bad, giving them a bad reputation. One day while sailing off again, a storm came out of nowhere, and in the midst of it was Kaibutsu, rising up out of the water. Rei immediately commanded her crew to get below deck so she could face the beast alone, but it was not to be — Kaibutsu drew an old harpoon out of the sea with their tail and chucked it towards Rei, successfully sending it straight through her heart and sending her into the sea. Rei died on the impact. Satisfied, Kaibutsu dove down deep into the water once again, and the storm stopped. The crew came out and looked for Rei, only to find her lifeless body floating calmly in the water. Though devastated, the crew had no choice but to leave her behind. Rei's ghost still hovers over the waters to this day, haunting ships and sailors, searching revenge on Kaibutsu, who also still lurked beneath the surface, waiting for their next chance to strike.
