Taking a deep breath and glancing at her both hands that was covered of henna making it look gorgeous. Her heart starts to flutters up and blush coated over her cheeks looking the colour of the mendhi and realising hidden theory behind the deepest colour of mendhi.

Kissing her both palms and blushing profusely she looks at beside her and found her attire kept for the haldi. Her heart starts racing fast when the realisation hits her within few hours she will be married women to love of her lap.

A smile appears on her face along with nervousness and sadness rushed through her body realising she won't be no longer be Miss Avni Murthy but soon to be called Mrs Avni Neil Malthora. Her heart aches.

Tears starts glistening in her wyes and felt like crying her heart out but sniffling and wiping the tears up stood up and looks towards the door when she found her sister all dressed up in a beautiful yellow saree looking absolutely gorgeous.

Nandini rushed inside the room and looks shocked not seeing Avni ready and was about to scold her but stopped when she noticed tears on Avni's face.

Rushing towards her and cupping her face wipes the tears away and asked her what happened but Avni didn't answer and crashing into her arms starts sobbing loudly making Nandini's heart ache.

Nandini hugging her back starts consoling her and starts whispering few words to her. They broke the hug and Nandini cupping her face wipes the tears off and looks at her asking her why isn't she ready.

Nandini : princess why aren't you ready yet? Everyone is waiting for you to start haldi. You are not even ready and on other hand my devar is desperately waiting for you. Come on let's get you ready. I can't wait my devar wait any longer.

A chuckle escaped from Avni and shaking her head knowing how desperate Neil is to get married makes her crazy and feel how lucky she is to have him.

Nandini also smiles and laughs out seeing Neil being so desperate and excited but can she blame him.

Nandini : he is so cute and adorable. I didn't expect or thought he will be like this. Go and get change.

Nodding her head and taking her outfit she went to washroom leaving the all worried and fear behind she went to change whereas Nandini shakes her head and taking her phone calls Mukti.

All the girls barged in the room and starts asking Nandini about Avni whereabouts when the washroom door opens revealing Avni.

They all smiled looking at Avni and went towards her and starts gushing and teasing her making the poor soul blush profusely staring the floor because it looked so fascinating to stare the floor.

Everyone's heard turns around when they heard footsteps and laughter erupting including Neil's who forget to breathe and his heart skipped a beat when his gaze fell on his love who walks with the girls. He couldn't take his eyes away from her.

His heart starts thumping so fast as she walks closer towards him and the girls made her sit by the where haldi ceremony was going to take place. He didn't even notice when everyone gathered around them. He was still in daze staring her intensely.

His thoughts were broken when he heard numerous of chuckles and giggles around him. He comes out his world and rubbing his neck turns around and looks at his would he who looking down who was blushing so hard. He chuckles and looks around finding his family and family giving him teasing looks. He avoids looking at them.

Everyone chuckles and the elders blessing and praying for them asked Neil to sit beside Avni who obedient nodding his head took seat beside her brushing his shoulder against hers making her look at him. He winks at her making her blush.

He chuckles and winched when he felt a slap on his elbow. He looks at Bebe who slapped him and stood front of them with Amms to start the function.

Bebe and Amms being the elders stood front of them and dipped their hands and taking handful of haldi looks the couple and taking turns applied haldi over their faces and hands and arms.

Neyoinka and Raj comes toward and Neyoinka smiles in tears seeing her younger son who was going to be married soon. Holding her tears back she took handful of haldi and applied on Neil's cheeks followed by his arms and kissed his head while moving to Avni who was smiling looking at them.

She took another handful of haldi in her hand and whispering something into Avni's ears applied haldi on her both cheeks and followed by her arms.

Raj following his wife applied haldi on both of them and stood beside his wife letting Ishita and Raman come next. Raman and Ishita comes next.

Their eye starts to tear up seeing their daughter who will be married within few hours. Their heart broke but couldn't happier than finding a guy like Neil.

They both took handful of haldi in their palm and holding their tears back ishita first applied it on Neil's cheeks and then swapped with Raman.

Neil glances at beside him and looks at Avni who was burst into tears but she held her tears back. He blinks his eyes at her when she caught him staring her. Her heart calmed and nodding her head she looks at her sister who comes next with Manik.

Her lips curves into a smile when Nandini took handful of haldi in her palm and smirks looking at Avni who shook her head and laughs a little.

Nandini smeared the haldi on Avni's cheek followed by her arms and looks beside her looking at Manik who took handful of haldi and smeared it all over Neil's face making him sulk seeing his brother taking revenge from Neil. She chuckles and moves to Neil.

Manik smiles at Avni and taking the haldi in his palm softly applies it on Avni's cheek and arms.

He steps back and looks at his wife who took haldi in her palms and laughed seeing Neil's condition. He stood beside his friends who showed him thumbs up. He nodded his head and looks at Nandini who applied the haldi on Neil's cheek and arms.

Neil was having difficult to open his eyes because of the haldi so he took Avni's end duppta and wiping his face a little glares his Bhai and Bhabhi.

Neil : I hate you both. I didn't thought you would take revenge from me. I thought I was your favourite Bhabhi. You broken my heart today.

Nandini chuckles and leans forward wiping his eyes with a tissue and smirks standing next to Manik.

Nandini : no one is my favourite today. Haldi is supposed to be fun and crazy. This is just start. Just wait and watch what happens next.

Neil rolls his eyes and didn't fail to notice secret exchanged between his friends and Nandini. He knew they were up to something. He sat there sulking and cursing his friends while others relatives taking their turn applied haldi to them.

All of the relatives have applied the haldi on them including David and Ava who was loving everything. Neil smiles seeing his friends and taking some haldi applied it on them too. Now only fab 4 left.

He looks at them and found smirking especially Cabir. He rolls his eyes and was ready to take any challenging coming towards him.

Alya and Mukti coming forward applies haldi on Neil and Avni and didn't leave a chance to tease Avni who smiles and taking haldi in her hands applied it on them. Next Navya comes up and looks at Neil.

He smiles at her and shakes her head gesturing her not cry. She was getting emotional seeing Neil who was like her younger brother getting married.

Holding her tears back she took handful of haldi in o palm and applies it on Neil's both cheeks and smiles moving to Avni and did the same to her.

Lastly Dhruv and Cabir comes forward and smirks looking at Neil who rolls his eyes and thought what can be worse then what he did on cabir's haldi.

Cabir and Dhruv talking whole bowl of haldi dumped it over Neil's head making him gasp as he wasn't expecting this to happen whereas the rest burst into laughter. Neil closed his eyes and starts cursing them who didn't paid any attention and taking some haldi from his body applied it on Avni's and teased her making her blush so hard.

Neil wipes some haldi of his face but wasn't enough when he felt himself drenched with haldi water over his body. He groans and opening his eyes looks behind and found Manik holding the bucket.

Neil : not you too Bhai. Bhabhi look what your husband did. I hate you Bhai. I trusted you.

Manik: your Bhabhi won't help you because she is also involved in this plan. And my dear brother did you forget what you did during my marriage. I will take my revenge from you. I love you too.

He smirks and chuckles looking at Neil who groans and within second the boys attacked ripping his Kurta off making Neil shock. The girls also joined in bringing more haldi and water and throwing in them.

They even brought Patels of flowers and smirks looking at Avni who was laughing her heart seeing Neil's condition but she didn't notice Nandini behind her also lifting the bucket of water poured it over making her shuddered when the cold water fell over her body. She starts shivering and looks at them who laughs and starts throwing flowers on them.

The elders stepped aside and watched them shaking their heads but couldn't help to join the later. Everyone starts applying haldi on each other and running behind each other especially the couple.

Neil smirks looking at Avni who was covered in haldi. He leans forward without getting notice as everyone was busy in their own world.

Her breath hitched up when she found him too closer to her and her eyes widened she felt his hands against her neck applying the haldi from his body.

He was about to pull her over him but to his dismay Cabir and Mukti comes front pulling him away from Avni and took him with them. He glances at her who chuckles and threw a wink at him.

Escaping away from her husband Nandini stood behind a pillar and starts peeping to see if her husband was looking for her but her eyes widened and her heart stopped beating for a second when she felt his cold arms around her waist and didn't fail not realise his presence behind her.

She turns around and looks at him who smirks looking at her who got worried and tried to escape again but this time Manik was too fast and holding her wrist traps her between himself and the Pilar.

He lifts her chin up and made her look into his eyes. He leans forward and pecks her lips making her eyes widened. He chuckles kissing her cheeks.

Manik : love. Where are you going? Finally I caught you. You can't ran away you. Damn love you do realise how gorgeous you look right now. Have I ever told how beautiful you are. Look at you.

His words made her blush. Looking straight into his eyes she didn't noticed when his hand brushed against her bare waist applying the haldi.

Her eyes widened when he smirks and leaves her only to lean back and rubs his hand on her cheeks and rubbed his own cheek against hers making her breath hitch up by his sudden action.

Opening her eyes she looks at him and found him smirking with his hands in his pockets. Passing him a glare and mumbling something under her breath she pushed him and wiping the haldi of her cheeks run away from there leaving him in a shock.

Shaking his head follows his wife and found his family drenched with haldi including Bebe and Amms who won't spare by his friends.

He chuckles and went to them and joining them and his friends noticing him pulls in the middle making him stand by Nandini who was in the middle with Neil and Avni who were totally drenched with water and haldi.

The haldi wasn't going to stop anytime soon yet because they had so much fun yet to have more.
