Glancing at the clock sighs and keeping the book down she slips down the bed and wearing the slippers she walks out of the room and went downstairs only to found Nandini sitting there.

Upon seeing Nandini there understood either Manik nor her husband has returned back home from office. She sighs and joined Nandini calling her.

Nandini turns around and looks at Avni who sits beside her grabbing the remote and switching the tv on. Nandini shakes her head and looks at her.

Nandini: Avni. How come you are still awake?

Avni: i was waiting for Neil like you are waiting manik Jiju. Have you spoke to him? Neil hasn't been answering my calls or replying to messages. I haven't called him back thinking he might be busy.

Nandini took deep breath and leans back getting comfortable because she had been sitting there for very long while waiting for Manik.

Nandini : same. Even Manik hasn't been answering my calls or messages. I wonder why aren't they back home yet. I also think dad  is with them. Look at mom is coming from kitchen.

Avni looks towards kitchen hearing Nandini and found Neyonika coming out of kitchen and being surprised seeing both of her daughters sitting there at this late night. She walks to them.

Neyoinka: i am going to kill Raj. He is making my sons work so hard. Look at you two.

Both of the sisters giggles and asked Neyoinka to join. They all sat down and starts complaining about their husband.

Nandini: mom. Has dad informed you anything? They have never been this late. It's almost midnight and there is no news about them.

Avni: yes mom. What do you think could have happened? Neil never forget to answer my call. He always informs if he ever gets late from work.

Neyoinka : there is must something serious. I don't think my husband nor sons wouldn't keep their wives waiting without any reasons. Let me try to call Raj one more time.

The girls nodded and looks at Neyoinka took her phone out and dials Raj's number but looking at Neyonika's expression they knew there was no luck. She looks at them shakes her head .

Neyoinka : he isn't answering. I am getting worried. Why don't know why no one of them informed us? I will scold all of them. How could they do this?

The girls agreed to Neyoinka and sighs while waiting for their husband to return back from office. Avni was almost dozing up, similar happened with Nandini who looked exhausted after having long tiring day at hospital.

Neyoinka looks at them and couldn't help but feel bad for them. Around 2pm the Malthora's walks inside the mansion and got surprised seeing their wives sleeping in uncomfortable position.

Raj looks at his wife and took deep sighs and glanced at other side where Nandini and Avni slept. He shared a look with his sons who had been staring their wives worriedly.

He clears his throat gaining their attention who looks at him and blinking their eyes moves to their respective partner and picking them up retired to their room leaving Raj alone there.

Raj glances at his wife and moves to her before picking her up and scooping her in his arms and climbs the stairs towards his room.

Next morning early in the morning Manik stroking his wife hair and dropping a kiss over it quietly comes down the bed and walks to washroom.

Nandini stirs in sleep and opens her eyes not finding Manik on the bed. She sits up pulling the duvet over her body and yawning loudly roams around the room and thought where did he go.

Her trance was broken when the washroom door clicks open revealing Manik who walked out of the washroom after showering wrapped in a towel.

He stops ruffling his hair and looks at his wife who climbs the down bed and walks at him. Nandini looks at him and cups his face.

Nandini: what time did you come back home last night? Why aren't you sleeping Mani? Why did you get up so early? How many times do I have to tell you not overwork on yourself?

He sighs and cupping her face leans forward and placed a kiss over her forehead and strokes her face.

Manik : love, I am very sorry for not informing you. I shouldn't have been so neglected. It slipped out of my head and didn't realise the time. So many things happened last night I didn't get chance to check my phone. I am sore for keeping you wait all night and making you worried. It will not happen again.

Nandini : I am not angry on you Manik but little bit disappointed. It's alright. What happened last night? Is everything okay in office? You guys have never been this late. You look worried too.

Manik : nothing is okay love. I don't give you fake hopes. I will explain you everything. Let me change then we will sit together and talk.

Nandini nodded her head and went to washroom to freshen up while Manik went to change. She thought to have shower later after their talk.

Coming out of the washroom Neil glances towards bed where his wife was still faster sleep. He moves to their closet and starts changing into office attire.

He got startled when he felt his wife hands wrapping around his waist. He tilts his head and looks at her with a smile who snuggles into his chest.

He smiles and lifting his hand up caressed her head and swiftly turns himself around pulling into her chest and smiling kissing her head.

Neil : what happened baby? Aren't you supposed to be sleeping? I wasn't expecting you to be up so early. Couldn't sleep without hugging me? Hmm?

She lifts her head and looks at him who smirks slightly. Rolling her eyes at him she starts hitting his chest and throwing curses at him.

He chuckles and held her hand making her stop. He looks at her and holding his ear with one hand apologies making her anger melt.

Neil : I am very sorry baby. I know sorry is very small to say. I should have known better to inform you but didn't. I really apologies and feel bad keeping you waiting till late night. I am sorry.

Avni: why did you come late Neil? This isn't usual time of you guys coming this late? Is everything okay? You also looked worried and hurry to rush back to office. You were supposed to rest. This isn't the time you normal go to office.

Neil : it's a long story baby. Come let's sit then we will talk together. I will tell you.

He held her hand and walks to bed and sat down still holding her hands and starts explaining to her what has happened in office and couldn't help but express his worried and frustrated to her.

She looks at him and side hugs him comforting him. She knows how hard all of the men of Malthora have worked to build Malthora industrial.

Avni: everything will be fine Neil. You guys have worked so hard for this. Nothing will happen.

Neil : I hope so baby because I can't see Bhai being worried. The tension and worried I saw over his face last night was unimaginable. I cannot explain what he must be going through this. He worked so hard for this and it is about to shatter so quick.

Avni: everything will be fine. None of yours hard work will go in vain. Jiju also worked so hard on this. I will go and help mom to prepare breakfast. Don't go office without having breakfast. I will freshen up quick and meet you downstairs.

He nodded his head and kissing her head stood up and walks to dressing table whereas Avni went to washroom to freshen up.

Both of them walked downstairs holding hands and found Raj and Manik sitting in living room and discussing something important.

Greeting both them Avni excused herself and went to kitchen meanwhile Neil took his seat beside Manik and looks at Raj who continued with the talk.

Manik : dad. I think it would be better if anyone could go Dubai. I don't have no issue going there. Neil can look over this branch in my absence.

Neil : dad. Even I think is Bhai is correct. One of us should be there. I know what ever happened to our Dubai branch is devastating but one of our presence is much needed there too. It won't progress any further if we don't take the immediate action.

Raj looks at them and thought for a while and finally nodded his head agreeing to them.

Raj : Manik when can you leave to Dubai? If you are going to be there then we shouldn't delay it. You should be there soon as possible.

Manik : dad don't worry. I have already booked the tickets. I will leaving by tonight.

Raj nodded his head and continued to discuss about the current situation but was disturbed when Neyoinka called them for breakfast.

They stood up and moves to dining table and sits down while Nandini and Avni starts serving them before sitting down beside their respective partners.

Raj : Manik is going Dubai tonight.

He informed the rest of the ladies who didn't know about Manik going to Dubai except Nandini who already knew as Manik had informed her.

She looks at him who blinks his eyes and assured her. She passed him a smile and continued to eat without questioning anything.

Neyoinka: what time is your flight Manik? How long will you stay in Dubai?

Manik : it's at 5pm. Mom I don't know how long I will be there but I should be back once everything is settled there.

Neyoinka : I am not understanding how did it happen? How could it in one day the  whole building was caught on fire?

Raj : we don't know Neyoinka. Police are investigating this matter but god grace not much damaged is done expect few employees injuring themselves. We will the find  culprit.

Neyoinka nodded and changed the topic to divert everyone's attentions. The men's completed their breakfast went office whereas Nandini and Avni walks back to Nandini room.

Nandini : help me packing Manik's luggage.

Avni nodded her head and starts helping her while talking to her. They both completed the packing and sits down while catching their days back.

Avni: what happened di? What are you thinking? You seams to be lost in your thoughts.

Nandini : I don't know Avni. I don't feel good. I mean whatever happened within a night doesn't settle well. Who could have tried ruining Malthora reputation? Who could have possibly done this?

Avni: I was thinking too di but who knows. I am sure police will be able to find it out who might be responsible for this incident. I just hope everything goes fine. Juji worked so hard for this.

Nandini: he definitely did. He doesn't deserve this. He hasn't even expressed his feelings. He looked very hurt and disappointed in the morning but didn't show much. I hope everything will be okay.

The whole family stood in the private lounge of the airport bidding bye to Manik who is leaving for Dubai. Everyone hugs Manik and asks to take care of himself whereas Manik nodded his head.

Lastly Manik walks to his wife who had been standing next to Neyoinka avoiding to look at him. He went to her and softly calls her name out.

Pulling her into a hug he held his emotions back and dropped a kiss on her head before breaking the hug and cupping her face looks at her.

Manik : love. I don't want to hear any complain against you. Please take care of yourself in my absence. I will be okay but please for me look after yourself. I don't want you to neglect your health.

Nandini nodded her head and didn't say much because she knew she would breakdown and didn't wanted to cry when he is leaving.

Hugging her one time Manik hugs to Neil and hugs and asks him to take care of himself and everyone especially Nandini who he was worried about.

It was the time for the flight Manik hugging them last time walks from there and didn't fail to glance back at his wife who was side hugged by Neil.

He smiles lightly and waving at them made his way to plane followed the bodyguards.
