He was looking at her. His Queen looks so fragile and weak. The mighty Queen. His once, strong and fearless woman is now lying on the hospital bed helpless.

It's been what? One? Two? Three? No, five months since she got shot on the chest and confined here in infirmary of ETHQ. Black once told him that there is no chance that the Queen will survived.

Why is that? He thought of having her beside him forever. He thought of growing old together with her and he thought of dying along side with her but now this... The Queen, oh fuck! He wants to fight for her, he wants to wait until she wakes up but seeing her pale skin, thin body and the life support beside her made him think of something else. Sa lagay ngayon ng Reyna alam niyang mas lalo na itong nahihirapan pero hindi pa katang bumitiw ni Demon.

Si Aisne lang ang kaisa isang babaeng minahal niya ng ganito at hinding hindi niya kakayaning bumitaw.

“Dad...”

But one day, his stubborn youngest daughter went to his office.

Haze walks towards him and sat at the visitor's chair, in front of his office table. “Mom...” Her voice were shaking at nakikinita na ni Demon na hindi na niya magugustohan ang sasabihin nito. “Wala ng pag asa Dad, wala na. Sabi ni Tita Black mas lalo lang nating pinahihrapan ang Reyna hangga't hindi natin binubunot ang makina. Daddy! Gumawa ka na ng paraan! Huwag na nating siyang pahirapan pa please..”

“AZLEA!” His voice roared around his office. “Did you hear yourself young lady?! You want me to kill your mother? Where is your fucking brain Haze?!” He hissed at him.

She began to cry. “Dad! We're not gonna kill, Mom. We're going to set her free. Hindi niyo ba nakikita? Habang tumatagal mas lalong nagiging mahina ang katawan ni Mommy! Wala na siyang buhay dad! Iyong life supporter na lang ang dahilan kung bakit siya humihinga. She may be breathing but she is no longer with us, daddy.” She was sobbing really hard. “I am using my brain dad. Akala niyo po ba madali lang sa akin na kumbinsihin kayo? Even Ate Hanna almost agreed to it dahil nakikita naman niyang hindi na tama, wala na tayong pinaglalaban Dad dahil matagal na tayong iniwan ni Mom.”

“Haze, please! Fucking leave me alone!”

“Dad... Please think about it, kakausapin ko na rin si Ate Aiszel tungkol rito.”

“One more word Haze and I will fucking disowned you. Fucking leave!” He groaned.

Wala nang nagawa ang bunso niyang anak at lumabas na ng kanyang opisina. Demon let out a frustrated sigh. Matagal na niyang alam ang sinasabi sa kanya ng bunsong anak pero masisisi niyo ba siya kung ayaw niyang bumitiw? Kailanman, hindi niya kakayaning iwan siya ni Aisne. He's too weak, yes weak. He is nothing without his Queen beside him.

He is no one without the woman he loved most.

He's just nothing.

Maybe this is his karma for what he did before. Maybe this is the torture he need to face. The torture of being alone, being left by the one you loved most.

“Demon... Demon... My demigod king...”

He felt it, she was touching his face. Her familiar voice excite the hell out of her. He opened his eyes and met her gaze. Her ash gray eyes were looking at him like he was the most important of all.

“My Queen...” He held her hand who's now on his cheek. “You're awake.” he's too happy. He can't even control his emotion and cry. “You're awake. I know that you will never leave me, you love me much my Queen.”

For a moment she smiled at him. “I love you my Demon king. You're the most ruthless man I ever met but you change everything to me. I love every single of you. I will forever love you, My Demon.”

“Queen...”

“Demon... Hear our youngest. I'm... I'm suffering Demon. I can't do this anymore. I'm sorry, I'm sorry for leaving you... Please, set me free..”

He immediately opened his eyes. Reality hits him, really hard. A tear roll down from his eyes. He can't take it. Just a month or two, please, he will always wait for her to wake up. He will.

He just wanted to full fill Aiszel's wished before. He knows, Aiszel once told him, his daughter once told him that she wants to get married with them beside her. He was fucking frustratedly wants to full fill that wish.

“Dad..” It's Haze again.

He didn't bother to look at her. He was busy examining his wife. He was looking at her, unable to touch her because of the glass window in between them.

“Dad...”

“Haze, just give me time. One week, or two or maybe a month. Just a little time, I can't let her go..” He cried. Yes, he cried in front of his daughter. There's no need to hide it.

Haze, his youngest daughter hugged her. Tight. “Until when will you wait, father? Until when.”

“I can't take it...” He cried really hard. For the first time since Aisne got confined, he cried really hard for her. Ngayon niya lang nailabas ang lahat. “Just a little time, anak. I know she will wake up.”

Even if she already request him to set her free.
