Hello, old friends! Wow, it's been a while, hasn't it?

So, what's go on since I last posted?

Oh, I had a baby!

Elizabeth Kimberly was born on August 31st, 2022, weighing eight pounds and six ounces, and was twenty inches tall. I'd share a picture, but I want to be careful with privacy, so just trust me on how cute she is.

Now, as for the obvious... why haven't I updated?

Well, around 2020 and 2021, I was struggling with my depression and anxiety. I mean, a lot of people did, but some of my stress was because my husband and I were hoping to start trying for a baby around that time, and we were reluctant to bring a child into the world during such a turbulent period in history.

Also, my fandoms have changed. I'm still a Doctor Who fan, but many more fandoms have higher priorities for me right now. I've gotten into basically anything Michael J. Fox related, The Frighteners, the Law & Order franchise, Ghostbusters, and Murdoch Mysteries. I've revisited my older fandoms from time to time, but right now, those are my main fandoms.

My primary home right now is AO3, as the layout is easier for me to use, I love the tagging system, and honestly, I feel more confident about posting there than I do here. I know that Wattpad has gotten a bad rep in the past, but I do have some good memories here. I don't know if I'll ever truly return to Wattpad, but my account will still be up as an archive of sorts, or a safeguard if I do choose to return.
