Felix's pov
I sat against the front door to the shop. There was still some banging coming from the other side but it only sounded like two or three of them were there. Marzia was tending to Chey and the two seemed to have become best friends. Cry stood leaning against the wall in the entrance to the room they are in. He was watching them to ‘make sure Marzia didn’t try anything'.

"She wont do anything. We just saved your girlfriends life there, I don’t think we are going to waste resources just to kill two people who will probably overpower us. Well, you will but I’m sure Chey can still fight back the way she is," I said as I closed my eyes. It was silent and i became uncomfortable.

I opened my eyes to see Cry standing right in front of me. I jumped and let out a not so manly yelp, growing red from embarrassment and the closeness Cry was at. He just knelt there looking at me for a while before holding out a water bottle. I suddenly realized how thirsty I was. (Thirsty for that dick. So not sorry)

I cautiously took the bottle from his grip. Our hands brushed slightly and tingles shot up my hand. I ignored the feeling as I took a small sip of the water. I would have liked more (you know you would) but we needed to save resources.

"I still have to be cautious in a world like this," Cry said quietly, his voice sending shivers down my spine. I scanned his mask for a good minute, opened my mouth to speak but closed it again. I nodded to his response as I knew it was true. These days you cant instantly trust someone. But i knew Cry wasn’t that bad.

Cry stood up and returned to his spot on the wall just as Marzia walked out of the room. She gave us both skeptical looks but I waved her off. She nodded before turning her full attention to Cry.

"Chey is resting now. She lost quite a lot of blood. Keep her water levels up and try not to put too much weight on her leg or she'll pull the stitches. She needs to stay in the one place for at least two or three days though," Marzia explained. Cry nodded as he took in all her information.

"We don’t have enough resources to wait until then," he said and I heard the sorrow he tried to hide in his voice. "There is a food court down town that has plenty of supplies in it but Chey got injured before we could get inside. I had to carry her here to avoid getting bitten by the dead," he said with some reluctance.

"Felix could help you. He usually does those things by himself since he's afraid I'll get hurt so he should be able to help. I cam stay and watch Chey for you," Marzia said with a smile. Cry instantly stood up.

"I'm not leaving Chey here with you," he said but quickly continued. "I don’t know if you can keep her safe."

"Don’t underestimate me. I might dislike killing things but I will if it means protecting a friend," Marzia said with a smile. Cry thought over it for a while before sighing.

"I don’t like it but we need supplies. And since Chey seems to trust you I guess I can give it a try. But if either of you try something I will kill you," Cry said seriously. Marzia cringed at the word but i just shook it off and climbed to my feet.

"Don’t worry about it Cry. We wont try nothing. We need you to help us just as much as you need us," I said with a goody smile.

"I don’t need you. It just makes things easier to have you around," Cry said under his breath. I shrugged it off and walked up to Marzia, handing her a knife. She looked at the shiny blade with a scowl before turning to me.

"You'll need it. Don’t let it leave your side and stay close to Chey. Don’t open the door to anything or anyone but us," I said calmly. She nodded before pulling me into a hug. For some reason I didn’t feel as much comfort as I used to in her arms. Maybe it's just because of what's happened.

Cry was silent as we pulled away before slowly handing Marzia a gun. I was quite shocked and so was Marzia. She shook her head but Cry pushed the gun into her hands.

"You don’t have to use it. It's only if you need to. I don’t think that knife will be able to do much if someone with a gun tries to break in since you don’t seem to have much skill in stealth or using weapons," he said. Marzia gulped as she took the gun with a silent nod.

Satisfied, Cry turned to me and pulled me into a back room. His touch on my arm burned but I ignored it as my eyes fell upon all the various weapons in the room. There were guns, knives, swords, cross bows and all sorts. It was actually quite amazing to see.

"Take your pick. We're gonna need a lot of weapons because the complex is full of dead. Holsters and straps are in the cupboard," he said as he grabbed a bow and some quivers.

I nodded and opened the cupboard and pulled out a holster for my waist and a few straps to tie around my legs and hold extra knives and guns in. I quickly chose the different weapons I wanted; including the crossbow, which came with silver arrows, and a long sword for closer range. I used to have one for the most of this dead world but it was either my sword or my life.

I turned around to see Cry was wearing a completely different set of clothes and had a various amount of knives in his leg straps, a pair of pistols in his waist holster, his bow strapped over his shoulder with his arrows tucked in their save place across his back. He had a black bag in his hands that matched his now full black outfit he wore.

But what impressed me the most was the weapon that was attached to his arm. It was a black and silver skull with sharp blades coming out the sides and two sharp points out the bottom front. He saw my amazed face and tilted his head as if asking what was wrong.

"Wow," I breathed out and smirked. “I’m jealous Bro, that looks cool."

I want it. Someone get it for me XD
