Officially hit 1k so NOW we can deffinately celebrate that.

Felix's pov
I've managed to heal quite a lot. I'm allowed to leave the house now. No being stuck indoors for me. Cry has to be with me the whole time though. 'To protect me' as he said. It's not my fault I get into trouble all the time. I'm just clumsy and unaware of things. Cry says he's gonna teach me a few things that can help me with that.

"Scott says the heard is almost clear of our old base but there was a breack in one of the walls. He's gonna go back with a group of people to clear it all out later. The rest of the heard should be gone by then," Cry said as we headed to the armory.

"That's good it's almost clear but where's the hole at?" I asked, looking down at my feet. Cry still wears his mask in public but occasionally takes it off inside the house. But all the curtains and shit have to be closed or it's got to be dark. Needy bitch.

"Apparently it's near the back of the base; away from the door," he replied. I nodded slowly before being stopped by an arm. I looked up to see a sharp piece of glass sticking out of a truck. I'd nearly walked right into it.

"Thanks," I mumbled to Cry before walking around him.

"Felix, what's bothering you?" I stopped and turned around to face Cry, giving him a confused look.

"What do you mean?" My voice seemed to shake a little and must have made it seem like I was hiding something.

"You've been out of it since you got bit. You're always in a daze and not aware of your surroundings. Thats the third time you nearly hurt youself this morning and it isn't even lunchtime yet," Cry pointed out. I looked at the sharp shard of glass for a moment before looking back at him.

"I don't know," I responded. I didn't really think it over, well more so I couldn't because my mind has been clouded with so many different thoughts lately, my mind couldn't choose one.

"That isn't an answer Felix. I care about you and want to keep you safe and you're walking straight into glass. Out of all the things you could die from in this world, I don't want walking into glass one of them," he said. He sounded a little upset but I was too out of it to think it over.

"Scott would be waiting for us," I mumbled before continueing to Scott's and Snake's house. Cry left out a sigh but didn't say anything more. We stepped inside and took off our coats, hanging them up out of the way. I could hear Russ and Scott talking in the other room. Well, they seemed to be arguing more than talking.

"I want to go Scott. I want to play my part in helping," Russ demanded as we approached.

"I'm not letting you leave Red or your child behind while you risk your life. Red needs you with her for support; not dead," Scott argued. Wait, Child?

"Cry is here to look after her. And I wont die, I'll come back to her. I wont let her down," Russ said sternly as we stepped inside.

"Ah, Cry, Felix. You're just on time. I need your opinion of something," Scott beckoned us over. I stood, leant against the wall, by the door while Cry walked over to the two.

"What's up?" Cry said casually.

"I need a group of people that can help me clear out the old base with me. Russ wants to come but I need him to stay here. We need people to protect the base," Scott said.

"Well, we need to decide who is going and who is staying then. We can't leave all the weaker people here alone because they wont be able to defend themselves and Felix can't come because he hasn't fully recovered yet," Cry said.

"I can make decisions on my own," I said annoyed.

"You nearly walked into broken glass less than five minutes ago. You need to rest up until you can be more aware of everything," Cry said, sounding a little desperate.

"You can't stop me from doing everything forever. I will die one day," I spat. I was sick of him making decisions for me. Why can't he see I want to help and keeping me in a room all day doing nothing isn't going to help.

"I didn't say that," he whispered, looking at the floor.

"Yeah, well it seems you think that," I said before storming out of the room. I needed to calm down. I needed to breath. I know what will happen if I don't. The bite; since I'm immune it messes with my thinking. It makes me say things I'll regret later. And I already regret what I've said so far.

"Felix!" Russ called. I stopped and rubbed my face, trying to calm myself down a little.

"Yeah Russ?" I sighed. He stormed infront of me and glared at me.

"What the fuck was that all about?!" He yelled. I flinched a little, not expecting Russ to be this angry.

"I can't help it," I growled. Of coarse he's on Cry's side. No! Don't think that way. Calm down Fe.

"What do you mean you can't help it? Do you know how upset Cry is because you said that. He's just trying to look after you because you've been completely out of it all week and all you say is that? He's trying to keep you safe!" Russ said, furious.

"I KNOW! I... know," I said, my voice falling short. "Belive me when I say I can't help it. The bite... I... react differently to it. Because I don't turn the bite affects my mind differently. I can't help what I do or say. Not until my body gets rid of the bites chemicals or whatever."

"Okay. I think I understand," Russ said after a moments silence. I managed a smile and gave him a quick hug.

"Congrats on the baby. I hope it all goes well," I said softly. I felt Russ' grip tighten before he pulled away and smiled.

"Thanks."

Yeah, Mad bitez
