Felix's POV
I looked at the injured female in shock. She must have been the reason why this man took all our medical supplies. He was just trying to help her but he could have gotten us killed! What if Marzia had gotten shot or cut herself on something? She would probably die.
"Cry? Who are these people and why are they here?" The female repeated.
"I'll deal with it Chey, go sit down or you'll bleed to death," the man said steely but gentle. He must really care about this woman.
She frowned and stumbled up to the man, putting a hand on the arm that held the gun to my head. He seemed to relax at the touch and almost lowered the gun but didn't.
"You promised you wouldn't do it again unless needed Cry. They aren't even armed," she pleaded. The man remained silent for a moment before sighing. I nearly did too when the gun was lowered but my eyes trailed to the blood on the females leg.
"I can help with that," I jumped when Marzia offered. I turned to her and searched for any reasons why she would help these people. The girl did stop the man from shooting us but he did steal our stuff and point the gun at us to begin with.
"What?" The man asked. Marzia nodded to the females leg, a calm expression on her face.
"I can see what's wrong with it and stop the bleeding if you want. I know how to do stitches if needed from the amount of time Felix cut himself with his own knife," Marzia said with a giggle at the end.
I frowned and folded my arms, looking away from everyone as I grumbled to myself. Did she really need to say that?
"What if you try something?" The man asked and I burst out laughing. He jumped at my sudden outburst and frowned.
"Marzia? Try something? She won't even let me teach her how to shoot a gun or even kill one of the dead out there. She won't even hurt a fly," I pointed out and Marzia nodded.
"Cry, they want to help. Let them, we can't get much worse then this," the female tried to persuade the man with Marzia. What is it with women? (Excuse me bitch? What ya say?!)
"We could be dead," the male said quietly. He gave us one quick glance before nodding. Marzia beamed and we were soon in what looked like a small resting area. A couch sat on the other side of the room with some blood staining the once green cushions.
The man helped the girl lay down before letting Marzia untie the stained cloth that wrapped around the females leg. A large gash was revealed that led from just below the side of the knee to above the ankle line of her shoes. It was pretty wide and looked fairly deep.
"Stitches?" I asked Marzia and she nodded.
"Yeah, the bottom of the cut doesn't look too bad but as it gets higher the cut gets deeper. She slipped and managed to get caught on something on the way down," she said and the female looked shocked.
"How did you figure that out?" She asked. Marzia shrugged and looked at me.
"Experience," she stated before looked to the masked man. "Can you bring me the medic kit, some bandages, spare rags and a bottle of water?" She asked.
"We dont-" the girl started but was cut off by her friend.
"I'll get them," he stated blankly and walked out, quickly returning with a bag that no doubt had our supplies in it. The girl looked confused as she glanced between us all but didn't say anything.
"This us going to sting a little but I need to clean all the blood so I can get a better look at the wound," Marzia informed the female and she nodded.
While she was cleaning the wound everything fell silent besides the dulled banging on the front door. The dead must be getting bored now and it sounded like the alarm outside stopped. Strange, don't you have to manually stop it?
"What's you guys names?" The female asked as she clenched her teeth. I remained quiet, not sure if I should tell these people but that didn't stop Marzia.
"I'm Marzia and cranky pants over there is Felix," she said as she focused on her task.
"I'm Cheyenne but you can call me Chey. And my body guard is Cry," she said giggling. I'm guessing he isn't her actual body guard and just seems like that. Cry scoffed and leaned against the wall.
"I wouldn't need to protect you so much if you weren't so clumsy and you weren't a wuss," he said jokingly. Wow, he has a whole new side now doesn't he.
"Oh shut up. Without me you'd be completely lost," she laughed but stopped as Marzia came too close to the open wound.
"Sorry, I'm nearly done. But it doesn't look as bad now that all the extra blood is mostly gone. It's still bleeding though so I'll have to do the stitches quickly and bandage it up before you loose too much blood," Marzia said as she pulled out some pain killers. "Take these."
Chey took the pills with some water from the bottle Marzia gave her before letting out a sigh.
"Why are you even helping us?" Cry asked suddenly and we all turned to him.
"Because I believe that no matter who you are you still deserve a chance to live. If I can help you guys I will help and not sit and watch or I'll know that as I breath I had the opportunity to save someone's life but didn't," Marzia said so passionately.
Cry nodded and she returned to what she was doing. I tore my eyes away from the pale mask to watch as Marzia got out the needle and thread she uses with me. I quickly stepped forward to support Chey. I know how painful this is going to be.
I DID A BAD BUT FIXED IT I THINK XD
