Hanami and I were now taking our lunch with Katashi at the restaurant nearest the Skytree.

As I ate, I couldn't help remembering what happened earlier back at the Asakusa. What transpired back there made me felt something strange yet left a warm feeling over me.

I sighed and I tried to shake away the feeling when Hanami snapped her fingers in front of me to gain my attention.

"Izaberu! Anata wa izen ni sono otoko ni tsuite kangaete imasu yo ne? (Ysabelle! You're thinking about that guy earlier, right?)" Hanami asked giving me a teasing wink as she brought the food to her mouth.

"Ā! Sokode dareka ni atta koto ga arimasu ka? (Oh! Have you guys met someone there?)" Katashi asked and looked at me as he ate. I blushed in response while his sister babbled on.

"Heey! Stop! I just remembered something back home. That's all." I said half-lying just to stop Hanami from chattering over some stranger we bumped into.

It looked like Hanami wasn't convinced as well as her brother but at least, they quieted down and talked about other things.m

Going back to what happened earlier still intrigued me.

Flashback to hours before lunch at Asakusa..

As we continued touring around Sensoji Temple inside Asakusa, I noticed a flock of people with their microphones and also some who were busy snapping photos of somebody who has stepped out of the limousine. I have no idea who they were so I decided to ignore them and turned my attention back to Hanami who was paying her respects inside.

Once she was done, she started making calls for Katashi since they have decided to spend lunch together with me tagging along. She was still on the phone when someone bumped into me and I hurried to keep her from falling to the ground.

"Ōmai! Arigatōgozaimashita! Kidzukanakattanode gomen'nasai! Watashi no otto wa watashi ni nigeru yō ni iimashita– (Oh my! Thank you! I'm sorry I didn't notice you! My husband told me to escape from the papara—)" Her words were cut off as she started to stand and our eyes met.

I don't know what came over me when we locked eyes. It was like seeing a resemblance from our features.

"Ē to, koko kara kanari hanareta tokoro ni ikitaidesu ka? Anata wa sokode anata ni au tame ni anata no otto ni denwa suru koto ga dekimasu. Tomodachi ni mo iu yo... (Uh, do you want to go somewhere quite far away from here? You can call your husband to meet you there. I'll just also tell my friend.)" I suggested awkwardly and she nodded.

I know I have seen her somewhere but I couldn't quite put a finger on it. When I touched her earlier, I suddenly have goosebumps as if something just connected between the two of us.

As I looked at her, I couldn't help admiring how her youth never seemed to fade despite her old age. No single wrinkle was evident in her skin. There were a few fine lines under her eyes but those are nothing compared to other women her age.

"Ye-yeah, sure. Do you know a place?" She asked and straightened her expensive coat before she looked again at me.

"There is a small coffee shop inside, shall we?" I asked and she nodded smiling shyly at me.

Suddenly, I felt this instinct to protect her. The urge to assure her that everything will be fine.

As we are about to head inside, Hanami called me and distracted my attention.

"Ysaberu! Where are you going?" I turned around to face her and looked apologetically at the lady beside me.

"Looks like your friend is calling you. You should go." The lady said and nodded in approval.

"But, how about you?" I asked again.

She shook her head and answered, "I will be fine. My husband just talked to someone. I will just call him to meet me here."

"Are you sure?" My forehead creased with concern and she held my hand abruptly.

"Yes. Take care of yourself." She smiled and turned around to head over to the coffee shop which was a few steps away.

"Ysa! Where the hell have you been!" Hanami exclaimed as she ran to me.

"Sorry. I just helped someone." I answered apologetically.

"Come on. Let's go to Katashi's crib before we have our lunch. I am starving!" She said as she yanked my arm.

I laughed at her but my attention caught something on the ground. It was a red handkerchief with initials of M.A. and a beautifully woven small butterly in the lowest corner of it.

I bent down to pick it up. I realized that the old lady has dropped it.

"Wai-wait, Hanami!" I protested but she was practically dragging me inside the car.

As I get in, I snuck a peek at the coffee shop and found out that the lady has her husband already with her. At least, she has him.

I sighed. She probably has so many handkerchiefs already so I decided to keep it until we see each other again.
