3rd Person's POV
Hikari's husband, Atsushi, sighed in his office after he has performed an operation on one of his patients. It was a successful five-hour biopsy wherein his team had done a craniotomy.
He removed his doctor's coat for a while and loosened the button of his shirt. Rubbing his eyes, he yawned in exhaustion.
He decided to doze off to sleep since his next operation is due after two hours until he remembered the lady he has bumped into at the conference in Tokyo University.
He can still vividly remember how charming her smile was and how soft her voice is. Her eyes were just as beautiful as her face is. She has this Japanese genes and her accent is cute. In his opinion, she must be Asian too if he has no idea where exactly.
What stood out from the lady is her kindness. Someone has already passed by the door when he was on the ground yet nobody dared to help an old man like him.
It was only the lady.
He shook his head wondering why he suddenly remembered her.
Was it because he is longing for his own child who should be around her age by now?
Was it because he missed the feeling of holding a baby in his arms?
It was a feeling he wants to determine.
If that is what he felt, how much more is his wife?
Hikari was more than convinced that she has met and known their daughter since the last time they went to Asakusa for a personal business.
Still, he wasn't able to see the lady that his wife was referring to. He never got the chance to see the person. He was in a hurry to protect his wife from the paparazzi.
He drew a deep breath and decided to rest his mind first before he go to another hour of operation.
I will just deal with my wife later., he thought and closed his eyes.

Meanwhile, in the Philippines...
Riva Solomon-Cojuangco, Ysabelle's foster parent, was rummaging through an old pile of albums and memorabilia in their attic. She has her whole day off from her cosmetic shop.
Her husband, Arthur, was busy in their basement as he cleans his nook. The married couple who have been living their peaceful life for more than eighteen years was shaken when they heard about the search for the Japanese daughter of the renowned former artist, Fumika Hikari and Matsumoto Atsushi.
Both of them knew that anytime, their daughter will eventually know the truth about her identity. Especially now that she is in her home country.
That is the reason why they decided to clean up their house to cover and hide any possible traces that will make their daughter doubt about their family.
They love Ysabelle so much. It pains them to think that they will be separated from their daughter for a long time.
Her Japanese genes have indeed began to come out.
They have known Ysabelle as a polite and punctual person. But now that she is in her country, she has become more of it. They have missed her video call for about ten minutes and they were surprised to see her frowning.
According to her, she still needs to catch up on some things and her time is valuable. Which is somehow true. But her punctuality has really improved for a short span of time. Which is good.
No one wants to wait for so long especially if you have a plan or schedule to follow for that day.
Riva sighed and a tear escaped from her eyes when she saw their family picture when she was about almost a year old.
It was the time when she and her husband went to her sister's orphanage in Japan and fell in love with baby Ysabelle.
The moment they saw her, she knew that she wants to take care of her and call her their own.
She was moving forward from a miscarriage that time and her sister suggested travelling to her place in Japan.
It was supposed to be a trip of moving forward and accepting their family's fate. But, God has made plans for them.
Plans of taking little Ysabelle in and treating her as their own little one.
And now that Ysabelle is a lot older now, Riva feared that she will choose her biological parents over them.
It was something Riva is not prepared for.
And it is beginning to happen now.
