I woke up today around twelve in the afternoon.

I was so tired still even though I had gone to bed early.

I was debating whether to get up today or stay in my bed for the rest of the day.

Just as I was about to go back asleep, someone knocked on my door.

I turned to my side on my bed and closed my eyes.

I heard the knock again.

I groaned.

"Go away..." I groaned again.

Just as I thought they left they opened my bedroom door.

I planted my face on my pillow and I now layed on my stomach.

"Mia?" Josh asked.

I buried my face deeper in my pillow.

Not again. I thought.

I could feel my face get hot.

Maybe because I was embarrassed of what I did or because I couldn't breathe and it was getting hot.

I buried my face so deep in my pillow all I could hear was mumbling.

I felt my bed sink down.

He was sitting on my bed now.

Please leave, please leave, please leave.

I felt him get up then I heard my door shut.

I sighed in relief and lifted my face.

I turned around to my side about to go to sleep again.

I saw him.

Josh was now standing over me.

I felt my face get hot again.

He had a serious expression on his face but then his facial expression turned to nervousness.

I stared at him.

He stared at me

I looked up.

He looked down.

I looked away.

He kept staring.

I finally got the courage to speak.

As I started talking, he did too.

"Uh..." We both said at the same time.

"You can go first." He said.

I shook my head.

"I-its okay. You can." I signaled him to sit.

"Thanks." Was all he could say.

He sat.

I waited for him to continue.

He sat up straight and cleared his throat.

I smiled.

He looked at me.

I looked at him.

I smiled again.

He didn't smile.

My smile faded.

His facial expression stayed the same.

I was confused.

He was nervous.

I looked at him intently.

He wouldn't meet my eyes now.

"Uh. I'm, moving." He said.

I was upset thinking about this. But what was more upsetting was what he said after that.

"I met a girl. We've been talking for a while and I'm going to go visit her where she lives. I bought a plane ticket to go see her. When I come back I'm packing and-"

I didn't let him finish.

I didn't want to hear it.

"Get out." I said angry.

I wasn't crying.

I breathed in and out angrily.

"Mia, look, I know this is hard." He said.

"No it's not hard. It's easy. You lied to me!" I yelled.

"I didn't." He stated angry himself.

"You don't get to be mad Josh! I do. You used me because your stupid girlfriend isn't here!" I yelled.

"I didn't know!"

"Go to hell! How long have you been talking to her?" I questioned harshly.

He said nothing.

I kept my tears in.

"You son of a-"

"Mia!" He yelled.

"No! You don't get to be mad. You have no right. You used me. I kissed you for God's sake!" I yelled.

He stayed in silence.

I stood up.

He stayed put.

I was hurt but I didn't let it show.

"I didn't know." He whispered.

"You didn't know." I mimicked him.

"Will you stop!?" He screamed.

"Stop what? I'm sorry I didn't know that you had a girlfriend while you were using me." I said.

I was heated.

It was just a matter of time before I burst.

"I didn't know!" He yelled.

I cried.

I cried and I cried and I cried.

I buried my hands into my face and sobbed.

"Your full of crap." I said.

"I liked you Josh! I really did. You were the only thing I had left." I sobbed.

He stepped closer.

I hugged myself and stepped back.

"Don't." I said as I shook my head.

"I didn't know Kennedy had a twin." He said.

I looked up at him.

"Who told you?" I asked taken aback.

"Your aunt. She told me a month ago."

"Do you know kennedy?" I asked.

He didn't answer.

He looked right at me.

"Well? Do you!" I yelled.

"She's the one I'm going to go visit." He said.

Once those beautiful lips of his stopped talking, I smacked him.

I smacked him so hard he had a red mark.

His jaw clenched but he didn't react.

He looked at me.

He took a deep breath.

He nodded.

"Okay. I deserved that." He said.

I nodded.

"You did."

"Mia. You never let me finish." He said.

I nodded for him to continue.

"I was going to say that after going and visiting kennedy to break up with her, I was going to pack my stuff and move out."

"How does that help?" I said.

"I want you to come with me." He said.

I stood paralyzed.

I looked around.

Tears filled my eyes again.

He scratched his neck.

After about twenty minutes of standing in silence, I spoke.

"Where?"

I knew he was waiting for that question because he answered right away.

"It's an apartment. I'll be on my own. It's not far from here. Maybe 10 minutes away. It's more into town and much smaller. Enough for two."

"What about Brandon?" I asked.

He can stay here.

"He'll be alone." I said.

"So will you if you don't come with me." He smiled.

I looked away.

He looked at me.

"Please?" He asked.

"This is all I have." I said.

He looked away.

"I'll let you think about it." he said, Standing up and walking to the door.

He turned around right then.

I was taken a back for a second.

But then realized what was happening.

He kissed me.

I stood there.

It took me a minute to realize that he kissing me happened.

He walked out.

I stood alone in silence.
