"good, get the surgery room ready and monitor his vital signs after every five minutes" Zhan finally dared to look down at him and breathed out from relief making sure it wasn't Yibo, but at the same time he cursed himself for being this selfish. No matter how hard we try, having too much to lost, it's impossible to live without fear. Calming himself down Zhan successfully processed the surgery and gave necessary instructions to the nurses. Walking thought the corridor all exhausted, the familiar figure caught his attention and he raised head to meet Yibo's lovely stare. The latter one tried to hide his bloody shirt and awkwardly smiled

"so it was you, who brought patient here?"

"is he ok?"

"Mn, he'll be able to answer your questions after a few hours" even trying so hard to talk calmly, Zhan's voice slowly broke and Yibo gasped when he was pulled in tight hug, hearing low sob sounds Yibo pet his back and whispered "i'm sorry"
