...9 hours until dawn...

Maysilee, Ashley, Sam, Matt and Emily all sit on the front step. Until a twig snaps nearby and all there heads turn towards the noise. "What the hell was that?" Matt mumbled to all of them. Maysilee stood up and glanced around.

"Mace! Stop it could be dangerous!" Ash pointed out grabbing Maysilee's arm.

"Or it couldn't be," she hissed and pulled her arm away from Ashley's grip. She walked towards the noise.

"Boo!" Someone shouted as they jumped out towards Maysilee, she stumbled backwards jumping. She finally saw Josh's face and hit him playfully:

"You asshole!" She shouted, looking at his tall figure, before she hugged him, chuckling slightly "God you're a idiot."

Josh grinned and walked over to the rest of the group. "Where's Chris?" Ashley asked as Josh walked over.

"He's inside, the doors are frozen shut," Josh explained, "He's looking for away to open it."

It didn't take long for the door to swing open and a Wolverine cub runs out, startling the group and making them jump to the side. "Holy shit-" Maysilee said, getting the eyes of her friends of her. She shook her head and followed them all inside, and soon Jess and Mike were there as well.

Maysilee looked at Mike as he walked in. He hadn't changed, he was still the muscular, goofy guy she liked. She took a seat next to Ashley on the steps. Emily and Jess argued and Ashley and Maysilee just exchanged looks of dismay. Not wanting to get involved in there drama.

"Hey!" Josh snapped at them "Knock it off! How about- how about Mike and Jess you go check out the guest cabin? Okay it's all yours."

"Yeah- good idea let's go Jess." Mike said, giving Emily and Matt a stare before wrapping his arm around Jess and walking out.

"That was short lasted." Ashley mumbled.

Maysilee got her stuff settled in before she heard Sam scream "Josh! There's no hot water!"

"One sec!" Josh shouted back. He popped into Maysilee's room. "Hey Mace can you Ashley and Chris go find a spirit board, it should be in the game closet upstairs?" He asked.

Maysilee nodded "Yeah sure." She said, Josh walked out and went to find Sam. Maysilee left her bag there and went down to Chris and Ashley."Josh wants us to find the spirit board."

"Great way to start of the weekend." Ashley mumbled.

Chris nodded "You two can stay down here, I'll go find it." Chris offered.

Maysilee nodded "He said it should be in the game closet." She told him. Chris nodded and walked upstairs. Maysilee walked over to a table and cleared it off. Glancing at a picture of the twins. She frowned, she missed them a lot and she couldn't help but blame herself for them dying, or go missing. She set the picture on the bookshelf nearby.

Chris game back downstairs with Josh behind him. "Your an asshole you know that right." Josh told Chris.

The girls turned to them "What happened?" Ashley asked them.

"Chris here thought it was a good idea to scare Sam and I, by dressing up as a psycho and chasing us out of the boiler room." Josh explained, looking at Chris with disappointment.

Chris just chuckled and set the game down "It was funny okay!" Chris stated. Josh rolled his eyes and took a seat at the table, and so did the rest of them.

"So how have you guys all been?" Josh asked them, glancing at them.

"I've been doing fine," Maysilee said, "Nothing special really." The other two agreed to what Maysilee said.

"Thank you guys for coming up here." Josh frowned upon what he was saying "I really did need it."

Chris nodded "You don't need to thank us Josh," he assured, "Your our friend, we all wanna be here for you. I think we all just need a break from everything that happened over the last year."

Josh nodded "Hannah and Beth would of wanted this, I know they would of." He pointed out.

Maysilee nodded "Yeah they would of..." she agreed. They all stayed silent and Maysilee just thought of all the memories with the twins.

- flashback -

Maysilee ran after the giggling Beth. "B wait up!" They we're spending yet another weekend at the cabin. Like they did every year. Maysilee followed Beth into her bedroom. "Beth!"

"Cmon try it on! It'll look so cute on you!" Beth exclaimed grabbing a dress out of the closet "It's to big on me! Maybe it'll fit you!"

Maysilee giggled "Okay fine!" She answered and took the dress from Beth. "Want me to change in the bathroom?" She asked.

Beth shrugged "Only if you want too, but I can just cover my eyes," she said, a small grin forming on her face.

Maysilee nodded "I'll just change here, we're both girls." She said shrugging. Beth turned away from her to give her the privacy. Maysilee took Beth's dress and glanced at it. It was red and skin tight. It was also sleeveless. Maysilee unzipped the back and stepped into it. She pulled it up, her eyes glancing towards Beth. "Beth?"

Beth turned around "Hm?"

"C-can you help me zipper it?" She asked "I can't get it."

Beth nodded "Yeah of course." She replied, Maysilee turned around and Beth moved her red hair to the side and zippered the dress. Maysilee turned to face Beth.

"Thanks," Maysilee mumbled, looking at her.

"Anytime." Beth replied. There eyes met before there lips inched closer. Until they finally touched. Maysilee cupped Beth's face, resting her on her cheek. Beth smiled into the kiss until the door swung open.

"I can't believe Emily- oh shit-" Hannah stood there and Beth and Maysilee pulled away quickly.

"I- um- errr well-" Maysilee stammered on what to say "What happened with Emily?"

"Nevermind that!" Hannah exclaimed sitting on the bed. Beth and Maysilee looked at her "What about you two?"

"It was just a kiss Han," Beth told her, but Maysilee thought it was more. But she didn't dare speak up.

"No one just kisses there friends Beth." Hannah pointed out.

"Please don't tell anyone," Maysilee said "My parents will kill me, no joke."

Hannah nodded "Your secret is safe with us." Hannah said looking at Beth who just nodded.

"So what happened with Emily?" Maysilee asked.

"Y'know the usual." Hannah explained "He being pissy because I have a crush on her boyfriend, Shes just teasing me about it. Honestly by now it's just straight up annoying."

Maysilee's secret died with the twins. She couldn't believe that was only two years ago, the last normal year at the cabin the group ever had.
