Prologue
okay so I love this video game and wanted to make an "emo adaption" I guess you could call it. All credit goes out to the makers of this game
no spoiling if you already know what happens!
Also, if you don't know who Andrew and Hillary are, they're Pete's siblings and I'm p sure they're twins

"Oh my god, I can't believe you actually did this," Sarah Orzechowski said.
Ryan smirked as he put down the letter and Brendon merely laughed. Jamia was the only one not on their side.
"Don't you guys think this is a little it cruel?" She asked.
She didn't want her best friend, Hillary, to get hurt. She loved her too much to have anything happen to her.
"Come on, she deserves this," Ryan said.
"For having a crush?" Jamia asked. "You can't blame her. It's not her fault she has a huge crush on Brendon."
"She's been making moves on him," Ryan said. "I'm just looking out for my girl, Sarah."
Ryan left the kitchen, letting everyone else follow her.
"Just because he's class prez doesn't mean he belongs to everyone," Sarah said. "Brendon is my man."
"Hey, I'm not anyones man," Brendon denied.
"Whatever you say, sweetheart," she replied.
She went into the guest room, quickly followed behind by Brendon, Ryan, Dallon and Gerard. They all ducked down behind furniture as they laughed, trying to calm down their excitement. Jamia didn't follow, instead she walked down the hall in an attempt to find her best friend.
"Hillary!" She called.
In the bedroom, everyone was in hiding besides Brendon when the door opened. Hillary held a candle, looking into the dark room.
"Brendon? It's Hillary," she said.
The light cast an illuminating glow on Brendon's face as he stepped forward.
Andrew Wentz stood in the kitchen of his family's lodge. It was dark outside, a snow storm raging. He swore he saw something out in the distance. A shadow moving somewhere.
"I thought dad said we were getting the place to ourselves this weekend, Pete," he said.
He turned but found Pete and Frank passed out on the island. He went over, picking up the empty bottle of whiskey.
"Once again, you've outdone us all, brother," he muttered.
Something caught the corner of his eye, a piece of paper sitting on the island that hadn't been there before. He picked it up, biting his lip as he looked over the neat handwriting.
Hillary,
You look so damn hot in that shirt, but I bet you would look even hotter out of it.
Meet me in the guest bedroom.
Brendon
"Oh god, what has our naive sister gotten herself into now?" Andrew asked as he looked at the unconscious Pete.
Upstairs, Hillary still walked slowly towards Brendon, a smile on her face as she pushed her glasses up on her nose.
"I got your note," she said.
"I'm glad you could make it," Brendon said. "Maybe we could start with a little making out and see what happens."
Hillary couldn't believe that this moment was actually happening. After years of dreaming over Brendon she was finally going to get him completely. She didn't even think about his girlfriend as she began unbuttoning her shirt slowly, not wanting to miss out on this opportunity. She wanted to be able to give Brendon everything.
"Oh, hell yeah," Brendon muttered.
Ryan giggled, quickly covering his laughs with his hand.
"Oh my god, she's taking off her shirt," he whispered.
Hillary gasped. "What? Oh my god!"
Everyone came out of their hiding places, Dallon was holding a camera. The door burst open and Jamia rushed in.
"Hillary," she sighed. "It was a joke, I tried to warn--"
Hillary wasn't having any of it. She went running down the hall and out the front door, tears streaming down her face.
Andrew saw the flash of something out the window and he hurried to Pete, shaking his shoulders. His big brother didn't budge so instead he went to go find the help of his friends.
"Guys, there's someone outside," he said.
He grabbed his blue jacket on the way as everyone crowded around the doorway.
"Hillary!" Jamia called.
"What's going on?" Andrew asked. "Where's my sister going?"
"It was just a prank, Hill!" Sarah shouted.
"What did you do?" Andrew asked, staring daggers at Sarah.
"We were just messing around, Andrew, it wasn't anything serious," Brendon defended.
"You guys are jerks," Andrew said.
He turned around, going to chase after his twin sister in the snow storm.
"Hillary! Hillary!" He called.
"Should we go after her?" brendon asked
"I think you're the last person she wants to see right now," Jamia said, crossing her arms.
She only wished she'd gotten there faster. Wished she had been able to warn Hillary ahead of time.
Andrew found a split in the path, one with footprints and the other with a noise. He decided to follow the noise of the breaking branch.
"Dammit, Hill, where are you?" He wondered aloud.
He found footprints and followed them this time, leading him to a wooden structure where he jumped down a few feet into the snow. Andrew used his phone flashlight, carefully searching through the trees for his sister.
An elk jumped across the path in front of him, making him jump in fright. He had lost the footprints at this point but followed the path. A spark of flames went off before disappearing a few yards away.
"What the hell was that?" He muttered.
Just down the path he found his sister in a small clearing. Her stark black clothes stuck out from the white snow. He hurried over, putting his jacket around her.
"Hillary! Oh my god you must be freezing!" He exclaimed.
"I'm such an idiot, I'm so dumb," Hillary cried.
There was a screech off in the distance and the twins looked in that direction.
"Andrew?" Hillary asked, hoping her brother would know what that was.
But Andrew thought his sister would know as he replied, "Hillary?"
There was a snap of a twig as they both took off running. They reached a wooden bridge but Hillary's foot gets caught on a plank, causing her to fall.
"Hillary!" Andrew screamed.
He ran backed and helped pick her up, her phone falling out of her pocket and through the wooden slats of the bridge into the darkness below. They continue on until reaching a dead end at a cliff.
"Jesus Christ!" Andrew exclaimed.
They turned but the figure of what was in front of them made them stop. They backed up towards the cliff, cornered and trapped.
"Shit, get back!" Andrew screamed, holding his arm out in front of his sister protectively.
They backed up but Hillary took a step too far, falling of the cliff and pulling her brother down with her. Andrew managed to grab onto a branch, still holding onto Hillary. Fire erupted above before dissipating into nothing again. A man in a mask came forward. It was almost like a gas mask. He held his hand out but Andrew couldn't grab on for help without letting his sister fall.
He did it.
His sister fell down the cliff with a scream. Andrew reached up to the man for help but the branch snapped before he could. He fell down and landed on a boulder, his body breaking as it rolled down to where his sister's body laid in the snow.
