Thanks for your support and as you wished,  I am updating the first shot of this story. And one more shot to finish this short story.

                       Many of them will never get second chance to correct their mistakes. Only few of them who still believe that something will completely change their present may get this chance and it is in their hands to use them wisely or to waste it effortlessly.

Abhi was beyond shock as nothing runs inside his mind. Like him ; everyone were confused about pragya's sudden behaviour. They can't understand why she can't able to recognize her own daughter. Purab leaves from there silently to inform doctor and to enquire what really happened to pragya.

" Mumma ...!!! Why you are speaking like this..? Dada..what happened to her..?" Kiara asked hurt by her mother's words.

" Pragya..!! This is your own daughter ..!! And I am king..King Singh !!" He said as kiara hugs him emotionally sobbing hard.

The doctor comes in to check pragya who felt a sudden sharp pain on the back of her head and her eyes felt heavy than before.

" What happened to me doctor? Why I can't recognise them..? " pragya urged to get up but the nurse's held her arms to rest her on the bed. She again looks at abhi who was still in the state of shock and purab consoling him. She turns her face as she heard kiara's sobbing voice who is crying hard asking what happened to her.

The doctor checks her and Every one were waiting impatiently. Abhi felt all his body went cold seeing her in pain who is gripping her head to remember what happened in her past .

" Relax...pragya..!! You are absolutely fine..!! Could you tell me , how you got into this accident...." the doctor asked her checking the pulse and bp.

Pragya closed her eyes as she only could see black and white pictures of her standing near the cliff . Then she remembered how abhi asked her to get out from his life and how she end up here.

" Actually I fell from the cliff which was high as the mountain because I thought to end my life as there is no use of me living in this world..." she said as tears layered inside her eyes.

Everyone were shocked that pragya didn't remember anything but abhi had lost his breathe when she said there was no meaning for her to live. He is still alive only because of her and he knew why she took that drastic step.

The doctor prescribed some tests for pragya to the nurse and asked to prepare her for them. She tells the family members to come with her as king picks kiara who reluctantly agreed to go with him.

" I love you mumma..." she tells kissing her cheeks without hurting her wounded area and it hurted when she didnt get any reply from her mother. It was strange for her that pragya didn't recognized her but she talked with abhi like she knew him for years.

She also remembers sunny saying about her mother's picture in abhi's wallet and thinks to ask him when they are all alone.

" doctor...!! Why pragya can't recognise us..? What happened to her..?" Asked king as soon as they came out from her room .

" I can't say anything now Mr. King.. I need to check her reports and you should thank god that she is stable now.. and could anyone say when this incident happened ...? " the doctor enquires looking at abhi.

" Before 7 years..!!" Said abhi as everyone looks at him in shock. Even king was suprised by his sudden answer.

" yes..few years back..!" King said as ge very well remember that day he met pragya who changed his life.

" It means she might suffer from short term memory loss...!! But I can't say anything sure and be strong inspite whatever the results mights be..." the doctor said leaving from there.

The whole family came back and abhi asked them to return home as pragya is fine. He don't want them to know about her health conditions but failed once again miserably.

" What abhi...? Pragya had lost her memory..!! Meri bachi ..!!! How much she should suffer! !" Swarni dasi cries as disha and mitali makes her to sit on the near by chair.

" What happened to pragya beta..?" Asked dasi seeing Abhi's sadness and panic filled face.

" Dasi...!! Doctors want to confirm with some tests' so let's wait and see..!! Please you all leave from here..!! " purab said asking disha to convince them as they must be tired and should take care of their health.

Abhi was sitting lifelessly near the operation theatre with thoughts of pragya. King sees him from far who is consoling kiara and disha convinces kiara to come with her and takes her along with sunny to canteen.

" Please tell me the truth Mr. Abhishek Mehra..!! I am asking for the last time!! I know there is something between you and pragya !! Are you that Mumbai walla boyfriend..." asked king which suprised abhi to core.

Abhi felt that nothing is there to hide from him and thought to tell about his and pragya's relationship as well as to know about kiara. One part of his heart tells that kiara is his daughter but until he hears it from King , he cant decide anything.

" I am her ex - husband " Abhi tells turning towards the OT looking at pragya through the class door. She is been treated effectively which brought tears from his eyes.

King steps beside abhi turning towards him and holds his collars " How did you even thought of pushing her out from your life.. do you even know her values!! She is a girl who can change anyone's destiny..You never deserve her..." he shouts as one of the nurse asked him to keep quite.

" Yeah... I know , I did a big mistake but now only I realised how big fool I am.. I can never think of a life without her.. each and every day starts and ends with her memories. I wish one day I will meet her but never thought as someone's wife.."Abhi tells suppressing his tears.

" Anyway ...I know I am not lucky to have her in my life and this will be hurting me till I die but seeing her like this.., it kills me more..." he said trying to move from there but king held his hand.

" I wanted pragya not to get back to her Mumbai wall boyfriend but after seeing you ; the pain in your eyes , the way you suffered for her , the tears which is brimming in your eyes tells me how much you miss her... how much you love her but.." king tells taking Abhi's hand in his hold who looked at him knowing what he gonna say next and he can't bear it from his mouth.

" but now you are married and you can't keep pragya or take her back to your life.." he said while abhi shrugged off his shoulders.

" Its not a big problem.. the thing is now she is your wife! !" He tells in a breaking voice .

" No Abhi!! She is not my wife...!!" King tells as abhi looked at him in shock. The second shock of this day. First he was sad that pragya had lost her memories and now they both are not married. Then why pragya has to claim every time as her husband. He knew there is something hidden behind this relationship like he have with Tanu.

" Me and pragya are good friends !! May be she is my assistant but looks like she is my boss.." tells king chuckling as abhi laughs at him knowing well about her " basically i can't act good infront of media when I drink.. she used to rescue me when I get into any problems..that's What our relation is..." he said which made abhi to jump in happiness. His pragya is not married to that king and she is still his wife.

Again he got sad within few seconds as king noticed him. He knew that abhi is struggling inside to ask about kiara.

" kiara...?" Before abhi could ask king stops him saying " She is your own daughter..., Abhi .." Abhi forgot to breathe and his heart beat stopped for a second and it starts to beat fast knowing the truth behind kiara. He was very sure by each and every acts of kiara which resembles him and his fuggy. The day could not be happier than this for him. That's when he realised why king is meant a lot for pragya.

He remembers he words , she said on that day of how king is important to her because he was there when she needed him the most. How could he be cruel than this allowing her to move away from him life? 

Now he feels that she doesn't deserve him. How much they had imagined about their kids and his Dadi would have been happy by hearing this. But today he lost the two important ladies in his life.

He could never bring back Dadi but he can bring pragya and his daughter. Abhi can't even guess what's running inside his mind. He just want to tell every one that he has a daughter !! He too had become a father..!!

" Abhi...!! " king kept his hand on his shoulders who is trying to control his tears as his lips curved into smile.

" thanks for telling me the truth behind you and pragya..!! Now I won't let her to suffer even a second..." he said as king hugs him who is equally having tears.

" Promise me that you will take care of pragya and kiara..!! If not na .." he said breaking the hug and held his shoulder " I will kill you and will take them with me.." Abhi nods his head in acceptance.

" I am really happy that pragya at least joined with her family..!! I only know how much she was worried about you. .I mean I don't know it was you and used to tease her.." king explains how he makes her anger by saying " Mumbai walla boyfriend! !"

" but what about tanu? " king asked suddenly knowing that abhi had married her and it was still a puzzle why he married tanu letting pragya away from his life.  Though it makes him anger , he knew there might be some reason as he can only see love in Abhi's eyes.

" I will talk with kiara and she gonna be happy by knowing that I am not her father but her superman is her real father..." he said shrugging off his shoulders.

" thank you so much..!!" Abhi tells as king walks from there smiling at him. He looks at pragya through the glass door and wished she should get normal soon.

" What ? Are you going to London dada? " asked kiara who was sitting with disha and sunny in the canteen.

King smiles at her saying " Yes...!! I am going back to where I belong..!" He said taking her on his lap. Disha looked confused at him while sunny takes the tissue to wipe his lips.

" Then.. me and mumma are also coming with you , right dada.." she asked as he tightens the grip. One minute , he thought why he must have forced pragya to come here and why she should meet abhi. He has no feelings for her but he has strong connection with kiara. He doesn't know why his heart bleeds to say that she is not his daughter. But he very well knew he can't separate a child from real father.

" No..." kiara looks shockingly at him while he continues " You and mumma are going to stay here with your superman and with their family..." he said not able to tell the truth.

" Why....?" She enquires him holding his hand as king tells " because your mumma could recognise only him and till she gets fine , you both will stay here... I am leaving because I have an important work to finish there..." he said and kiara hugs him.

" I will miss you dada ..." she said while disha understood the situation. " but I will be happy as I am going to superman's home and sunny will also be there.." she tells having a hi-fi with sunny.

" dada too will miss you princess..." he said hugging her affectionately.  Disha can understand how much kiara is important in his life as abhi comes there after getting fresh up. He saw kiara wiping her tears who puts a fake smile on her face and kissed king's cheeks.

" Here comes your papa...!!" King informs cheerfully as he passed her to abhi who gets her with his heart filled with happiness. He felt as if he had achieved the whole world when he held his daughter protectively in his arms. Disha felt happy as her wish got fulfilled. She now understood why king told that he is leaving from here.

" How come you know about this..daida.." asked kiara with a questioning look.

" Your papa had told me every thing !!" He tells about the truth but she misunderstood as their secret .

The whole Mehra mansion was glowing beautifully as its been decorated for Pragya's arrival and the family's new member ' kiara ' . The whole family comes to know that pragya is returning back to MM as abhi's wife and was more happier than that knowing that kiara is abhi and pragya's wife.

Tanu watches the whole family were present in the living hall while purab was talking with someone in phone.

Aliya too comes there and looks at the decoration and asked tanu whether she know something about this.

" May be they are celebrating pragya's part funeral! !" Tanu replies which only irked aliya to the core.

They comes down and aliya thought to enquire dasi about the sudden preparation.

" Dasi .... what happened ? Why everyone is present here ? Is anyone coming ?" Aliya asked as tanu stood near her.

" Haaan aliya...!!! " swarni dasi tells looking at tanu " the person who belongs to this family is coming back... We are waiting to welcome them...!!" These words confused both of them.

" I told na.. kiara is abhi jiju and pragya di's daughter..!!" Disha murmers to purab who nods his head in acceptance.

Robin enters inside taking all the luggages from the car into the mansion. Aliya looks at tanu with puzzled look as was tanu stood.

Kiara runs inside the home smiling happily and they saw abhi carefully holding Pragya in his arms enters with soulful smile on his face.

"Ruko Choti Maharani....!!" Tells dasi stopping kiara and takes the taali plate from mitali and asked the three to stand together. Aliya and tanu was shocked to see pragya with abhi and tanu was more shocked seeing kiara with them.
