Chapter 4

Jeremy sigh as he was forcefully taken to where Nightmare King resided, to be truthful, he rather not see him again. Or ever for that matter. He knew he should have just cut ties to this kingdom and left for the second, but he couldn't. He did have some unfinished business to attend to in this kingdom, he wonders if things are even going as they should be, but he wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't anymore.

He still questioned why Dynamic was even sent to get him in the first place, or how he knew that he was sneaking in and out of the kingdom for quite some time. Yet, here he is stuck in this situation for some reason. He swear, the moment  Nightmare King talks shit, he's gonna punt him. He wonders if he would be able to keep things at least in order before it all breaks down.

Maybe.

Anyways, after walking for quite some time, they eventually gotten to the throne room where Nightmare King is sitting on the throne, waiting for their arrival. He smiles upon seeing Jeremy and sit up properly instead of slouching like before. Jeremy rolled his eyes and glared at him.

"Hello, Brother."

Sabre and Orange/Crystal had been on their way to the second yellow kingdom for quite awhile now, at least maybe a day passed by since then? They weren't sure cause they may or may not have lost their compass and clock. Somehow. Honestly, Crystal could have made them a new one, but he wasn't confident in his abilities to make it at all really. Although they both can't help but feel as though they were being watched. They weren't sure what it could be that would be watching them, but they didn't really pay it much mind until recently, while they were setting up a small camp for the time being.

When they mean recently, they mean by Sabre crying cause his circlet suddenly went missing and Crystal is trying to comfort him to the best of his abilities. Crystal wasn't sure how Sabre managed to lose his necklace since he had always worn it, but he wasn't sure who or what could have taken it either. There really wasn't much that would take it honestly, or at all since Sabre was quite protective of the Circlet. Just like his scarf.

With soft sigh, he carefully put Sabre back in the sleeping mat, since he passed out from crying so much, then put a blanket on him, then leave the tent to try and search for the circlet. He didn't want to leave him alone, but he had to in order to try and find the Circlet. Something he had left of two people in his life. Two people that isn't with them anymore.

So he look around, wondering if whatever was watching them was the reason for Sabre lost circlet. He wasn't sure, but after awhile of searching, he found nothing. Going back to check on Sabre- he froze when he heard a familiar tune. A tune that only one person ever sang to him and Sabre when they were young. Searching for the source, he instantly froze at the sight before him.

"...Raive?"

The Second Yellow King, who name is Sam, moved as close as he could without giving away his place, he was curious, yet, confused on where he had heard the theme of the song his son, Kyzuri was singing, so he kept himself hidden as he listen to his son song.

"Everyday, I sit by the lake of memories and joy, That I wish wasn't just a Dream..." Kyzuri softly sing as held his knee close to his chest as he looks at the lake before them. "How long has it been since I felt this fragile feeling?" He wonders as he kept looking at the lake, looking at his own reflections as well. "Time passes by, like a flicker of light." He continues, splashing the water, distorting his reflection as he looks up at the sky.

"Slowly Burning away the candle light...When did everything felt so cold...?" He wonders as he held onto his jacket for warmth, feeling a slight breeze passes by. Sam was worried and concerned, unsure what he meant. He continue to listen to him sing, wondering why he would ever sing a song of sadness. "The Memories of warmth and joy, Slowly dying along the dying embers of laughter..." Kyzuri continued, faintly remembering a time when his uncles and cousin were still alive.

He smiles slightly, he truly missed a time where things were so much more simpler. "Was it..all just a dream...?" He wonders as he takes off his bandanna scarf and looks at it.

"Every Night, I hear the echos of laughter." He continued as he looks up at the sky, noticing that it was slowly turning from day to twilight. He finds it funny how it changes slowly. "Gazing at the starry night, missing the warmth it gave...Drowning in cold loneliness, when did it all change...?" He continues, wondering why every thing had happened. Sam didn't have anything to say nor think for such question. Even he wasn't sure himself either.

Kyzuri softly sigh as he stopped hugging his leg and look at the sky as it slowly dipped from Yellowish orange to a midnight blue. "I wish It didn't leave me cold...Wish it wasn't just a dream...A lost dreams of forgotten memories..." He truly wish he it wasn't a dream, the fond memories he had of his uncles and cousins when they were alive were slowly fading away with time.

"Why did everything have to change..." He wonders as he stopped and just, cried, a broken solemn cries filled the empty, not night time, air. Sam couldn't handle seeing his son like this anymore and quickly ran to him and held him close, comforting him as best as he could, getting him to wear his cloak.

He truly does his best to comfort his son in his darkest hours...For he was just as heart broken as he was from the changes that split them all.
