It had turned out that it didn't really matter if Kasey, Leilani and Raina Riele had ended up late because the auction had started late anyway.

Those that were bidding for something had gotten sent to this room:

And those that weren't bidding for something but was waiting for someone that was bidding for something had stayed in another room, watching the auction.

Kasey and Leilani were currently in that room, along with about fifty others, the room was very spacious.

"I hope she knows what's she's doing."

"Stop doubting her, Kasey," Leilani sighed. "Raina Riele has got this thing all under control."

Kasey didn't normally doubt people (except from himself sometimes) but he had just really hoped that he hadn't made a mistake with Raina Riele.

After he had said that, a man in his early seventies had gone up on the stage, and it was the owner of the museum in general.

He had clapped his hands, which had silenced everybody as the auction had started.

"Welcome everybody to Surreal For Real's auction that happens every four months!" The man up on the stage had announced. "My name is Maverick and we host this every September, December, March and June!"

It had happened like once a year which had gotten changed to four months because the auction was really good. Maverick had looked like this:

With everybody cheering after he had said that. Raina Riele was going to be talking to Leilani and Kasey through an ear piece.

Right in front of Maverick was a treasure box, with some of the items that were going to be up for bidding today.

There were twenty items in total, with someone only being allowed to bid for one thing to make it fair on everybody else.

Inside the treasure box were these items, including but not limited to:

And of course the topaz tiara.

A lot of people were surprised actually because they didn't think someone would have just put the topaz tiara up for sale like that.

Wasn't it the best tiara in Cyprus?

"It is but you can't please everyone," Maverick shrugged. "Maybe they got it somewhere else for a better price."

As he was sorting out the things out of the treasure box, with someone helping him because he was quite old, Raina Riele had thought it would have been a good idea to talk to Kasey and Leilani through the earpiece.

Maverick would have gotten someone else to do the auction, ie one of his four children or seven grandchildren (from 3 families) but he had always done it so it would have been weird if someone else had done it.

Raina Riele: Hold up, Kasey?

Kasey: Yeah?

Raina Riele: What position did you say the topaz tiara was again? Sorry. I forgot.

There was a list on the whiteboard in front of everyone of the order of the things up for auction, although Raina Riele was pretty far away from the front.

Truly important people had sat at the front, not just that but those that had come early as well.

Yeah, Raina Riele wasn't in any of those categories as far as she was concerned.

Kasey: Last.

Leilani: Last?

Kasey: Yeah. Y'all already knew this. Maverick had figured that no one would be patient enough to wait till last, hence why he did the topaz tiara last. Plus from what I've heard, I think it's the most valuable item on there. This is literally a scenario of best till last.

Raina Riele: Will there be any breaks? Also, say I get tired, can I swap with one of you guys?

"No, you can't," Leilani replied for Kasey. "Once you're in here, you can't get out until the auction is over. Or until there is a break. You can't even leave to go toilet because the toilets are in the same room as you."

Also in case something had gone wrong and Raina Riele had to get the topaz tiara off someone, she didn't want the person to know all of them.

Just her.

They would have known that Kasey and Leilani were associated with her assuming they had to help her get the tiara off of someone.

Was what Kasey wanted to say and didn't, he was already kinda doubtful enough.

According to Kasey anyway, there was only going to be one break that would have lasted twenty minutes.

Maverick would have done more although this auction was going to be pretty long so therefore he didn't.

They had wished her good luck as the auction had started once and for all.

Because Raina Riele wasn't too concerned about the first ten items, she had fallen asleep, and as she was a light sleeper, she knew when to wake up.

The auction must have gone from the least valuable items to the most valuable items or something because the first four items were kind of trash.

Things had gotten juicier the fifth item onwards, which was when Raina Riele had unconsciously woken up to.

To come across this very beautiful necklace.

Raina Riele's eyes were wide open as she had seen that, being very grateful that she had woken up to see that thing.

It was beautiful.

Screw the topaz tiara, she was buying this.

"Up next is this very beautiful sapphire necklace and-"

Raina Riele had started saying how much she was willing to pay for it before Maverick had even finished his sentence.

One could have bid up to three times but they could have only bought one item. As soon as they had bought an item, they had to leave to make it fair in other people again.

"300 Euros!"

"What the heck is she doing?!" Kasey had yelled at Leilani when he had seen the auction happen live on the TV right in front of them.

"She's supposed to be bidding for the topaz tiara! You can see why I lost faith in her now."

Leilani too was ticked off as he had spoken to her through the earpiece before things had gotten worse than it had done already.

She had clearly forgotten what she was really here for.

Only Raina could have done something like this.
