After the guys and girls had gotten to know each other a little bit, it was now time for the second act of the afternoon, as they had kinda missed the first one.

A woman with ginger hair as well as a lot of freckles and glasses had come to the stage, tapping on the microphone, which had shut everyone up.

"Alright everyone, listen up!" She had announced, with everyone staring at her, whilst cheering. The amount of noise at this library was ironic.

It was now time for the second act of the afternoon, who had gone by the name of Kasey Crayking.

He too had gone to Leilani and Raina Riele's school, but he didn't really talk to anyone.

Kasey was madly introverted, too introverted to actually start a conversation with someone half of the time.

Instead of people befriending him over his amazing singing talent, a majority of people had seen him as a threat, being jealous of him instead.

It sucked.

Despite all of this, Kasey was, however, one of the best male singers at Cyprus High School (the school they had all gone to), or if not then he was the best instead.

Leilani had noticed who he was, and so did everybody else.

Because Kasey was a little bit shy, the female hostess then wanted everyone to cheer him on as he had sung This Is A Man's World.

He wasn't going to start from the beginning though, as he had limited time.

He had to go home after this.

He had to study for an upcoming exam.

Kasey had turned red a little bit when they were all cheering him on, mainly because he didn't really like attention, although he had still smiled regardless.

It was his parents that had convinced him to come here. Unlike most people here, Kasey's parents actually knew that the kid was there.

They weren't exactly in the audience as they had to do something but they didn't mind that Kasey was here right now either way.

The female hostess had given Kasey the microphone, which was when everyone had stopped cheering him on to hear him sing.

Everyone had cheered, with Sitara mouthing to Rayselle how amazing his falsetto was.

This is a man's world
But it wouldn't be nothing
Nothing without a woman or a girl

He had started walking around the stage whilst singing at the same time, with his voice progressively getting better every time as well.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

Sadly though, Kasey's happiness had fallen short when his voice had unexpectedly started going after the next lyric...

Man thinks about a little bit of baby girls
And a baby boy

He had sounded like a boy whose voice was breaking before it had gotten deeper, but Kasey had experienced that years ago.

Man make them happy
Because man makes them toys

His voice was getting worse and worse every second because it was going.

It was then that Kasey realised that he had been arguing with his younger sister a lot yesterday as they were annoying each other.

Kasey's voice was becoming croaky now, with everyone just looking at one another pretty confusingly.

As far as he was concerned, Kasey had never messed up him singing in front of a crowd.

There was a first time for everything.

Some rude people even had the audacity to laugh at him, but nobody in Leilani's group had done that because they were respectful people and not disrespectful people instead.

Kasey had soon realised how many people were staring at him and laughing, falling quiet, as the female hostess had taken the microphone away from him.

He had never felt so embarrassed in his life.

And he had feel even worse when she had said:

Give it up for Kasey Crayking!

Or should I say Kasey Voice Breaking?

She had laughed at that, and that was when Kasey had stormed out of the room furiously.

Everyone in the room besides Leilani, Sienna Rose, Rayselle, Sitara and Serenity were laughing.

They had just looked at one another instead, with Leilani saying that he would have gone to talk to him at the boys' toilets as that was where he had believed that Kasey had run off to.

The rest of them had felt abysmal for him, and they weren't going to just keep quiet about it.

So unexpectedly, that was then when Sitara had gone up to the stage, which had shut everybody up, Sienna Rose going up with her.

Now y'all should be ashamed of yourselves, Sienna Rose had announced, with some people just rolling their eyes.

How low are you guys to make fun of Kasey losing his voice halfway through singing a song? You guys are the most insensitive people that we've ever met!

People lose their voices all the time, so what? Sitara had added. How would y'all feel if that was you guys out there? How would you feel if you were in Kasey's position?

Rayselle and Serenity couldn't have stood their friends and sister (for Sitara) just trying to defend Kasey without any backup.

They had then joined the stage as well, with Rayselle talking next.

You guys are jealous. If you guys can't even be there for Kasey or encourage him as he's losing his voice, then what's the point?

Word, we're out of here. This audience sucks, Serenity had added last, as her crew was leaving. Oh and Adrianna?

The ginger female hostess with glasses had stared at here, wondering what she was going to say next?

Kasey Voice Breaking instead of Kasey Crayking? Not cool. At all. For Kasey to even come here tonight was a huge risk for him, you know how shy he is.

None of them had actually talked to the guy straight up before, but Leilani was doing that right now.

Sienna had texted him that they would have waited for him and hopefully Kasey at KFC, which was just five minutes away from here.

They had all gone without looking back.

Coming here was a huge mistake, yeah.

But at least they had made some new friends along the way so not all hope was lost yet.
