What on Earth was this all about?

That was a very good question that Raina Riele didn't know the answer to.

Right now, RonReaco had just dropped her home after doing the same thing with Leilani and Sienna Rose earlier on.

Both of her parents had newspapers in their hands.

Annaisha's was about her being in a hostage situation at TTNT with Leilani, Kasey, Riki Yvette, Brianni and then some.

Jeronicus' on the other hand was about the police looking for her, Kasey and Leilani because they had stolen the topaz tiara from Giovanni and Valentina at the auction.

"You did not tell us that you were going to Kasey's house, as far as we're concerned!" Annaisha had screeched at her, with Raina just sighing but she didn't say anything.

"Not just that but what in tarnation were you doing at TTNT during a hostage situation? You could have died!" Jeronicus had added.

Yeah, no kidding.

To be honest though, Raina Riele was panicking, looking to her brother for reassurance although he had just winked at her.

Like a wink was supposed to help, it really didn't.

Then again it wasn't really about him, it was more about Raina Riele as well as how much trouble she was in at the moment.

She couldn't have told them the truth, not just because it was dangerous but because it didn't even sound believable in the first place.

So she had thought of something. Which wasn't just about why she was at TTNT, it was also about why she had decided to steal the topaz tiara.

"Kasey's aunty's daughter... Kasey's cousin basically, his second one... Uhm it was her 18th birthday and she really wanted the topaz tiara."

The second bit wasn't exactly a lie. It was someone's 18th birthday yesterday, just not Kasey's cousin.

As she had suspected, Jeronicus and Annaisha didn't believe a word of what the girl had just said, looking at one another in the meantime.

"It just so happens I have Marissa on speed dial so I can ask her if this is true or not."

She panicked, telling her not to do that, with RonReaco kind of feeling sorry for her, interrupting just before Annaisha had asked Raina why she didn't want her to call Marissa.

He told her the truth.

Kasey's father Antonio was an undercover ex-spy and they were doing a mission for him.

They were hosting impromptu sleepovers to see how the brain had coped under pressure and if someone could have done well in something with no preparation whatsoever.

For them to check that it was really impromptu, teachers had watched students through a TV, which was with their consent.

Not all the time though, this was only when the students were doing something related to their impromptu sleepover, which they had to tell the teacher about beforehand.

They could have hired someone to watch them but no one really wanted to do it.

They had to go to TTNT, and an auction with RonReaco and Rayselle having to go to House of Fraser just to duplicate the topaz tiara.

It was crazy but it was the truth.

The truth that they had laughed to.

Raina Riele and RonReaco had stared blankly at one another then at them when they had noticed that they had been laughing.

"What's so funny?" RonReaco frowned.

"You really think we're going to believe that Kasey's father is an ex spy?" Jeronicus questioned, raising an eyebrow at them. "Plus why ex?"

Because he had realised that there were other less life threatening jobs out there with a better salary, or just the same.

Nah, it was because they failed the mission which affected him as he reluctantly sent them.

Raina Riele didn't actually blame them for not believing her but hey at least they had laughed about it, instead of becoming more ticked off than before.

She didn't even believe herself come to think of it.

She had even suggested to call Kasey about this whole thing, so she did...

Only for his phone to go on voicemail.

Hey, this is Kasey Crayking. Sorry that I couldn't pick up your phone right now but you can always leave a message after the beep.

She had no proof that she was telling the truth, Kasey did though.

Raina Riele had left a voicemail. It had just seemed more reasonable talking to Kasey about it instead of Marissa or Antonio himself.

Plus Kasey knew more than his mother did about this whole thing.

Kaseeeeyyy! Get to me ASAP, this is really important.

"Your mother can just call Marissa..." Jeronicus had offered, with Raina Riele yelling no accidentally on purpose.

None of her parents had known Antonio that well otherwise they would have known he was an undercover spy from the get go but they didn't.

Then again, he didn't tell anyone. Not even Kasey, hence the word undercover.

Before she knew it, Kasey had gotten back to her, which was the best thing about him. He replied or called back pretty fast.

When he had his phone on him.

Kasey: Hey Raina, you called me. What's up? You good?

Raina Riele: *really fast* I need proof that your father was an undercover spy so that I can avoid trouble.

Kasey's line went silent for ages as he was trying to decipher what she had just said.

Kasey: Erm... I only understood the last bit. I'm not gonna lie.

She had repeated herself, apologising for talking too fast before, she had normally done that under pressure or when she was going to get in trouble for something.

Kasey: Yeah, sure I can send you a few pictures on Whatsapp of my dad at his headquarters, and you can send them to your parents.

*continued* And you're lucky I'm doing this too. Normally because he's working undercover, I can't tell any third parties about what he's doing. But because he got fired since we failed the mission, I guess it doesn't matter.

Raina Riele didn't know how to reply to that so she had just thanked him, before apologising for failing the mission even though it was a group effort and it was really on Leilani.

Kasey took some time to get back to her as he was talking to his father about it, but he had eventually sent them to her and she had showed it to them.

Her parents had gone through everything Kasey had just sent her, being surprised.

"Oh my gosh, you weren't lying." Annaisha noticed.

"That's what she was trying to say," RonReaco added, placing his hands on Raina shoulders and smiling.

Their parents had said sorry for not believing them, with Raina asking if she was in trouble.

Her punishment wasn't going to be as bad as they wanted it to be as she did steal the tiara for a good cause, plus it wasn't like she had actually gotten arrested.

But yeah she was grounded for three weeks because

1) She didn't tell them she was going to Kasey's house, she had even snuck out.

2) She had almost gotten herself arrested and she had stolen the tiara

3) She had gotten her friend Veronica to impersonate her mum so that Raina could have gone to her house for a fake sleepover.

There would have been another week added for getting herself involved in a risky hostage situation but they let it slide as that wasn't exactly her fault.

Raina Riele had thanked them, accepting her punishment even though she didn't want to.

Now it was back to school again.
