♥️Chapter L♥️
Chapter 50! This book will probably have sixty chapters or just under.
As always, happy reading!
Kasey, Raina and Leilani may not have done RonReaco and Rayselle any justice but Sienna Rose had definitely did.
It had taken her a while to pick up the phone though she had gotten there eventually.
Rayselle had given Sienna Rose's phone number to RonReaco and he had texted her beforehand so that Sienna Rose didn't ask any questions.
Right now they were talking about the whole thing, with Sienna Rose wanting RonReaco to send a picture of the machine to her.
"Do you understand what the buttons might mean?"
She did, and thank God for that too because they wouldn't have known what they would have done otherwise, or without her.
Apparently, according to Sienna Rose anyway, not all of the buttons there were completely necessary. Some were lowkey just there to catch them off guard, and it did.
Some buttons were used specifically for the duplication machine, other parts were used specifically for other aspects of the room.
"You see the four green buttons that are on?"
Both of them had nodded.
Sienna Rose had told them not to switch them off. This was because without them, the duplication machine wouldn't have been able to operate properly.
If someone had switched it off then switched it back on again, it would have taken like ten minutes for the machine to work because heat was used to use it and then some- they just didn't have that kind of time. Full stop.
The top left black button needed to be pressed so that they could have loaded a picture of what they wanted to duplicate on the machine.
Kasey had sent a picture of the topaz tiara to the Unsuspected Love group chat, which he had forwarded to RonReaco privately as he wasn't part of Unsuspected Love so was therefore not in the group chat.
RonReaco had loaded the picture up after Rayselle had told him what to do, asking Sienna Rose for help.
It was actually pretty easy to duplicate, it had just looked hard because the buttons weren't exactly labelled or anything.
The picture that Kasey had sent them was actually too large although luckily they could have resized it, which was exactly what Rayselle here had done.
The four red buttons towards the middle of the machine was what needed to be pressed to be duplicated.
Not simultaneously though otherwise the machine would have gotten haywire.
The top left one would have duplicated things the slowest but it had used the least heat.
The one underneath that was slightly faster, although using more heat.
Basically the faster the picture would have been duplicated, the more heat it had gotten which wasn't a good thing.
Rayselle wanted to know which was the one that the staff members had normally used.
They had normally used the third button down apparently, albeit that was mainly when they had limited time. The second button was the one they had used the most.
"We have limited time," RonReaco had realised. "So we should use the third one too."
"It uses up a lot of heat though. Don't risk anything. I'd suggest using the second button instead," Sienna Rose had suggested. "Oh and after it's been duplicated, wait like thirty seconds otherwise your fingers may burn."
RonReaco and Rayselle had smartly yet inevitably done things as Sienna Rose was talking so that they hadn't forgotten anything.
RonReaco had duplicated the tiara once after Rayselle had cropped it to fit, and all they had to do now was wait after they had pressed the second button.
They should have pressed the second button but they didn't - Rayselle had accidentally pressed the third button instead.
"You did what?!" Sienna Rose had yelled at him after he had told her the news.
It was an honest mistake, RonReaco was talking to Rayselle about something, so in a way he had guessed that he was partially responsible for this as well.
Talking to him could have waited now though because now that he had accidentally pressed the wrong button, things would have been faster yeah, but way more heat was used in the process.
Rayselle didn't seem to see this as a problem though, most especially after what Sienna Rose had just told him... and RonReaco too for that matter.
They had limited time anyway so it didn't matter.
After everything was duplicated, which had taken like five or so minutes, with there being a percentage of progress next to it as well - the two of them had gone.
Wow - if the third button had taken almost five minutes (without them waiting for it to cool down), then how long would the slowest one have taken?
The boys had tried to escape anyway, that was until Shanaz and Shahidi had caught them in their act.
"See, I told you that they were in here but you didn't believe me!" Shahidi had complained, pointing at both of them.
To be honest, the boys had completely forgotten the fact that they were trying to hide from them.
They were just so focused on trying to duplicate the topaz tiara before their train had arrived that nothing else had really slipped their mind, most especially this.
Inevitably, when the boys had seen both of them, they had decided to make a run for it, with the girls chasing them except from Vicky.
The way out could have been through a window which RonReaco had no problem going through but Rayselle had trouble with as he was holding the duplicated topaz tiara.
If they had time then they would have duplicated it twice but they didn't as they couldn't.
RonReaco was screaming at him to hurry up especially how the girls were coming, and he had helped him out just in time.
The train to the castle was in about five or so minutes time, and the next one after that was in forty - it wasn't a very frequent train but then again it was going to a castle.
Plus the royal family didn't always like any visitors.
Grabbing the topaz tiara as fast as they could, the two boys had left the scene, slamming the window as well so that the girls didn't have a chance to escape.
Kasey and his team had the real tiara, they had the fake one... now all they had to do was deliver the real one to the royal family.
Easier said than done though... way easier.
