We rush to where Starfire is being carried off by that thing. I see Robin, every has a go at taking the thing down and finally me and Robin have a go. I fly on a piece of ice and levitate Robin and I to the hunk of junk.

We land on it and since Starfire has already escaped we don't have to use safety precautions. "I don't see an off button." I state and smirk. "Guess we'll have to make one." Robin shares my smirk and we both plunge our fists into the main part of the thing.

We jump onto the dock to avoid being fried by the electronic aquatic-air-thingy-animal? Anyway once we land I let Robin talk while I get closer to the thing. "Now why would something like you attack Starfire?" I pick up a tentacle and quickly drop it, earning myself a 2nd degree looking burn on my hand.

I bit my lip slightly, I've seen and had worse. Ignoring the burning sensation on my hand, I create an ice glove that isn't viable to others and pick up the tentacle. Feeling a jolt in my arm, I know its electrically charged.

I grit my teeth and pull the tentacle more until it snaps, inside is a bunch of technology, I'm positive this isn't our world tech, considering Cy has the latest at the tower.

I release the tentacle on the ground and move up to the thing's main body. I make the ice gloves on both hands and freeze them solid but I'm capable of moving it. I grab the edges where me and Robin punched it and tear it wide open.

I see a main chip in the middle that looks like its about to self destruct and I grab it and quickly freeze it, knowing that'll stall the chip until I can get info on it.

"Come on Diamond! We're headed back home!" I hear Beast Boy's voice and I rush up to the dock again to see everyone beginning to leave. I grab the large wolf with my injured hand and wince, I don't want to leave my injured hand free in case Beast Boy tries to hold it.

My suspicions are right when I feel his hand grab onto my own without anyone noticing. We stay like that, even on the ride home.

We are walking in and Star is holding a bunch of stuff when we all hear a voice. "How lame little sister." We see this that looks exactly like Starfire but...darker. I don't like her. AT ALL.

After we get through the 'who are you?' part, Star gets her necklace and we learn her name is Blackfire... see even her name is dark!! Everyone goes on their own to do their own thing or talk to Blackfire.

I shake my head and walk upstairs to my room. If you want to know the good-to-honest truth I don't like the bitch and I only trust her as far as I can throw her.

Correction, I can throw that bitch pretty far, I just don't trust her.

I go into my room and put down my wolf in a corner, pulling out the chip I had found earlier and putting it into the computer in my room.

It takes a minute to load, I really hope this works because I don't know technology that well, just what I found in books.

The screen loads and the necklace Blackfire gave Star is on the screen. That thing says its after Blackfire! Maybe since they're sisters the genetics confused the poor thing.

Space alien stuff, yeah okay, its officially time to speak with Robin about this. I get up, printing out the documents. When I have the documents in hand I hear a voice, "and what are you doing?"

I freeze, Blackfire. I hold up the documents bravely and wave them in the air a bit. "Going out to show why that thing attacked Starfire. We lock up people like you, filthy liars and scum."

"You won't show them that." She states calmly with her arms crossed. "And why wouldn't I?" I, just as calmly, cross my arms. "Because, I have this." She opens some type of device and a video begins to play.

I stiffen up, continuing to watch this video. "Stop." I say halfway through the video and tear my eyes away from it. "I'll show them every second of it if you don't help me." I jump from my chair in outrage, "help you?! I won't!!"

She smiles and shows the picture again, "I wonder what BB would think of this." I grit my teeth. "What are you planning?" She smirks in victory. "I want you to-"

Later at the party Blackfire invited us to I walk in nervously after letting her pick my clothes. I'm wearing a long-sleeved ruffled shirt with a pair of skinny jeans and wedges. My hoodie in my room. I hate every second of this.

I look at Starfire, who is being laughed at, I follow her up to the roof. Remembering what I'm suppose to do. "Hey Star." I speak quietly. She turns to me, "why aren't you doing of the partying like others?"

I smile sadly, "because I know what's going on. Blackfire she isn't.... Starfire just trust me on this. Get off the roof now before that thing comes back." She looks at me questioningly and gets up to leave, all of a sudden she's grabbed off the roof.

"Star!!" I freeze a piece if the thing and run to get help. "Robin?! Robin?! Robin!!" I grab his arm and pull him away from Blackfire, "get away from her! Stars getting hurt and its her fault!" I yell at him.

My yelling must've attracted attention because Beast Boy, Cy, and Raven are at my side while Robin runs to help Star. "You're ruining everything!!" I get blasted out the building by one of her bolts. I groan in my pile if rubble and get up.

"Don't help!! Help Starfire, she needs it!!" I yell at the three titans, they nod and head off. 'Where's Ezzie?'

I get punched through another building and I feel dizzy but I stand back up. "I should've gotten rid of you when I had the chance." Blackfire's eyes and hands light up and she directs all of that towards me.

I tackle her to the ground and punch her across her face multiple times. "Get off of me!!" She blasts me off of her and I land on a large piece of debris, thankfully not sharp, but still painful.

"I've had enough of you." She gets ready to shoot me and she is tackled by none other than Ezzie. "Mess with her again. I fucking dare you." She raises her hands and a white glow covers her fists. She strikes once but is punched away before she can continue to attack.

Blackfire gets up and flies off. I growl, "oh no you don't." I get up and fly on a piece of ice with Ezzie flying on her dragon behind me. I admit I was afraid of the dragon at first cause I thought he wanted all my Oreo's but he's a friendly dragon.

I hold onto my arm that's bent the wrong way and follow after her quickly. When I see Starfire close by us I get a burst of adrenaline and tackle Blackfire to the ground. This time from higher up.

We hit the ground hard and I feel my leg probably shatter. Blackfire tosses me in a random direction that happens to be where the Titans are. "Diamond!" I hear Cy yell.

Starfire goes to fight her sister while Ezzie heals my leg and I focus on my arm. When we're done Ezzie helps me up while Blackfire is being escorted away.

"Don't think I forgot my promise Diamond." She tosses the video onto the ground as the guards take her away. It begins to play. "No!" I shoot a sharp piece of ice at the object but it has some type of shield over it.

The video plays and I cover my face with my hand that is still injured with that burn. They all watch astonished. The video shows me when I was smaller getting beat up by my Stepfather.

It shows me screaming and him getting angrier and angrier, drunker and drunker. My Mother walks in and casts a glance at the scene before her, I yell her name but she completely ignores me and walks into her room, closing the door behind her.

I continue to listen as my friends watch in horror of my Stepfather pulling out a knife and carving me all over. I just sit there occasionally screaming and calling for help.

I never knew my age until now when he told me. In the video I looked 12 but I thought I was only 4. The video ends with his smiling face and my silent crying in a ball of blood behind him.

The video only went on for 4 minutes but felt like an eternity to me. After it was finished, the device exploded. Everything and everyone were completely silent, the spaceship already gone.

I release Ezzie's shoulder as my crutch and sit on the ground staring at the rubble left. "Well there goes any definition of privacy." I grumble out loud and flick a piece of leftover trash away.

"So anybody want pizza?" I say, standing up sorely. "How can you just ignore that?" Raven asks, talking about the video. "Why think about something I can't change when I can just forget?" I use a question as a answer.

"You forgive that man for doing that to you?" Robin's question made me get slightly angry. "Hell no. I just wait and make sure it doesn't happen again to me or anyone again. I'll forget but I'll never forgive that bastard."

I calm down again and smile, "but seriously, who's up for pizza? I'm starved." No one says anything, they just stare at me. Ezzie trows her arm over my shoulder throwing me off balance slightly.

"I'm hungry too. Let's go, its to depressing to be over here right now." I sweat drop but still smile. "Anyone else or meet us at the tower?" I look at all of them and Raven walks over to us along with Cy and Robin, finally understanding this is my way of getting better with it.

I stare at Beast Boy as Ezzie and everyone else starts towards the dragon. "Hey," I tilt my head. "You know this is just my way of handling it?" He looks upset, "I remember your panic attack and how scared you were but I never thought it was that bad. Now you...you're smiling like you didn't just watch it all over again."

I smile at his concern and grab his hand with my good hand. "Look I'm fine, I'm here now and I'm getting better." He frowns and looks at me. "But you're not. Its obvious you're just hiding it." I frown but hug him, "maybe that's just my way of doing things. Now c'mon!" I pull him with me to the dragon and we head for pizza with the rest of our friends.

It's good I've practiced smiling.
