I wake up the next morning and look at the clock, '8 a.m? Only one hour of sleep this time. Damn.' I pull the blankets off me and change into a pair of clothes my Mother had packed me. 'Mama...' I shake my head and place the provided pajamas back on the bed. "I admit, they do seem nice but I'm not sure if I can stay. He could be close...I don't even know where he is...." I sigh and head downstairs with my satchel in hand. I'm met with the sight of Raven making tea, Beast Boy and Cyborg fighting over food, while Starfire and Robin talked.

I walk over to Robin and catch everyone's attention. I fumble with my satchel's strap as I get the nerve to speak. "I, uh, I think it's time for me to go..." I say quietly. When I hear nothing I look up, I see Robin smirking. I raise an eyebrow, "what?" He answers me, "you can stay if you want. It's your choice." I glance at the rest of them nervously. "I-I don't know... I don't want to be any trouble." Cyborg speaks up, "you won't be any trouble. Just stay here, beside the streets are no place for a little lady like yourself." I tug on my hood strings nervously. "I don't know..." Beast Boy smiles, "come on, it won't be any fun if you left. You jumping away from doors is really funny." I purse my lips, Raven rolls her eyes and when she sees me looking at her she nods.

"A-Alright...I'll stay." Beast Boy and Cyborg cheer, Raven nods in satisfaction, Robin smirks, and Starfire flies towards me excitedly. "Yay!! Friend Diamond will be staying with us!! What's your favorite color? How old are you? Where do you come from? How'd you get your hair so long? Will you be my friend?" She's beaming and I lean back slightly. "Blue, 14, Earth...I don't really know where exactly, it just grew this long, what's a friend?" I question and answer. They all blink in surprise at my answers and I purse my lips, thinking I've said something wrong.

"You don't know what a friend is?" Robin asks, surprised. I grab my hood and tug on it. "A-Am I supposed to?" I reply with a question. "How do you not know what a friend is?" I shrug at Cyborg's question. "A friend is someone you can rely on and tell them things about yourself that you don't want some people knowing." Raven explains. I purse my lips...that sounds really....different. "That's weird. Can you do something with it?" I ask, still slightly confused. "Not exactly, it's like affection." Robin supplies.

I pull down my hoodie, "what's affection?" They all look shocked. "That's a likable feeling towards someone and they can possibly have the same feeling." Raven tries to explain. I furrow my eyebrows and try to sort it out. "So friends are two people who have a liking towards eachother....isn't that supposed to be...love?" I look at them. "A friend-like love I guess, not a relationship love, where there is a lot of physical contact. It can also be between more than two people." Raven corrects slowly, not really sure how to put it.

"How do you not know all of this?" Beast Boy asks. I look away, grabing a piece of my hair to play with. "I just...never learned it, that's all......" Before anyone else can speak, red lights begin to flash and a alarm sounds. I jump, surprised. "What the hell?" I question and look around me. "Titans, trouble!!" Robin rushes into the living room and they all follow, Beast Boy taking me by the hand and pulling me with them.

"It's Mumbo." Robin states, "he's robbing a museum this time. Titan's go!!" Everybody moves and I follow, still curious to find out who Mumbo is. We arrive at a gigantic museum, 'This Mumbo guy has to have alot of courage to steal from this place, it looks heavily guarded.' All of a sudden a puff of smoke appears infront of the main doors and a blue man emerges from the smoke. "Your show stops here Mumbo." Robin speaks. 'I thought we're supposed to fight this guy?' I shake my head. "Titans go!" Robin yells and they attack, I shrug, I guess that's the attack demand.

I let Raven attack him with a car, Mumbo dodges the car and turns her into a rabbit. I look at her, I can't do much about that. I look back to the Mumbo guy. "Are you new, I could've sworn I haven't seen you before. Mumbo Jumbo at your service." He yells some weird words and I dodge a bolt of whatever from his wand and shoot my own electircity at him. "The names Diamond, fuck with me and my...friends, then we have a problem. Right now, that's the case." I dodge another bolt from his wand and freeze the road beneath him. "W-Woah!!" He slips and then he poofs.

"You'll make a wonderful assistant." I hear before it all goes black.

Beast Boy's P.O.V

"Diamond!!" I yell as Diamond is knocked out by Mumbo. "I think she'll work perfectly!" Mumbo exclaims. I turn into a rhino, "Get away from her!!!" I charge him, but he disappears before I can reach him. I turn back to normal and stare at where he last held her. "What do we do now?" Starfire questions Robin. "We save her."

Back at the tower we don't get very far. "She didn't have a comunicator, I don't know where she is." I growl in frustration and walk into my room, once I'm in there I punch a wall. "Dammit!!" I yell in frustration. Cyborg walks into my room, "hey BB. I know you're upset." I glare at the floor, "If I would've done something, anything, she wouldn't be gone right now!!" I feel his hand on my shoulder, "Calm down, all of us wish we could've done something to save her before he took her, trust me, we'll find her." I look away, "but she barely knows anything at all, he could easily trick her."

"Look BB, I know you care for her, but she's a strong girl, you saw her yourself." All of a sudden the alarm goes off, we rush into the main room, "it's them." Robin says and we set off.

Diamond's P.O.V

"W-Where am I?" I try to put a hand to my head but something stops me. I look down, my hands are bounded to the chair I'm in, along with my feet. I begin to yank on the ropes, probably leaving bruises on my wrists. "Let me go!" I yell into the darkness around me. "Now what fun would that be? I need a new assistant and you're perfect for it." I hear that Mumbo guy's voice in the darkness.

I look down at myself when I realize I don't have my hoodie on, in place of it is a sparkly dark blue tight shirt with sleeves attached by a button and flowing pair of black pants. "W-What the hell?!" I yell and struggle even more. Mumbo walks out of the shadows and taps my lips, "now, now, no cursing." I try to bite his finger, but he moves it just in time. "I don't think you would be my assistant willingly, would you?" I glare at him, "what the fuck do you think?"

He sighs, "oh well, I guess you could use an attitude adjustment." He holds up two light blue gems, "I think I'll rename you, Emerald." I get the hint that nothing will come any good of those rocks and I turn away. He forces me to turn my head, before I can close my eyes it captures my sight. "You see, one of the gems you will wear and one, I'll wear. The one I'll hold onto will have your personality and the other that you will hold will give you the personality of my assistant!" I want to say something but I can't as he clasps one gem around my neck.

My mind goes blank and soon I can't see anything.
