Performance Night

Ash POV

I hope Katherine's alright. I haven't seen her since the her fight with Gary. I think I'll go see her to make sure everything's ok. I walked over to Katherine's house and knocked on the door and Katherine answered. "Hey Ash what's up?" She asked. "Oh well I haven't seen you the past few days, I just wanted to make sure you weren't still upset about Gary." I answered. "Oh no I'm not upset, I've just been rehearsing with Dani and Lauren non stop, cause we have a concert tomorrow." Katherine responded.

"Wow, that's cool, where's the show?" I asked. "Viridian City." She answered. "Wow that's pretty close, you mind if I were to leave with you guys, to see you perform?" I asked hopeful. Katherine was silent for a second then spoke. "Sure, I'd love for you to see us." She said smiling. "Alright thanks." I said excited.

A voice came down from upstairs. "Katherine come on we've gotta practice." "Well I should get back to work, I'll see you tomorrow." Katherine said smiling. "Yeah, I'll see you tomorrow." I responded. I began to walk away as a thought crossed my mind. "Wait Katherine!" I screamed before she closed the door. "What's wrong Ash?" She asked confused. "Would it be ok if Serena came to, she's never been to a live concert before and I'm sure she'd love it." I answered. Katherine stayed silent for a second but then responded. "Oh yeah sure, sounds good." She said smiling.

"Alright thanks, see you tomorrow." I said waving goodbye. "Yeah, see ya later." Katherine responded. I can't wait to tell Serena, I'm sure she's gonna love the concert. And with that I walked back home.

Katherine POV

Ash said he wanted to see us perform and it made me so happy but then he asked if Serena could come. It reminded me that Ash is already with someone, it made me a little sad but I couldn't let Ash know that so I just faked a smile and said yes. I walked back upstairs and went into my room.

"What's up?" Lauren asked. "Oh Ash asked if him and Serena could leave with us tomorrow to watch our show and I said yes." I responded. "Ash and Serena, you gonna be ok with that?" Dani asked. "Yeah, I'll be fine. Come on let's get back to practice." I said cheerfully. We continued to practice until night came and fatigue became an issue. "Alright guys I think we should get some sleep." I said yawning. "Yeah I think you're right." Dani said also yawning. Dani and Lauren then walked to the guest room to sleep. I changed into my pjs and got ready for bed. I can't wait for the show tomorrow.

The Next Morning

I got up and noticed the clock. It's only 6:00, oh my gosh it's still early. I tried to fall back asleep but I couldn't, I tossed and turned for a little while before I gave up. I decided to get up. I walked out my room and went downstairs. To my surprise Dani and Lauren were up to.

"Morning." Dani said cheerfully. "Morning, what are you guys doing up so early?" I asked. "We couldn't get back to sleep." Dani replied. "Yeah I guess we're all excited for the show." Lauren added. "You got that right!" I said cheerfully. "So what time are we leaving for Viridian City?" Dani asked. "I arranged for a van to bring us and our equipment there around 3." Lauren replied. "Alright, sounds good." Dani said.

"Oh I should probably text Ash the time." I said grabbing my phone. I sent Ash a quick text. I'm not expecting him to see this for a while considering how early it is. I set my phone down as Lauren, Dani, and I talked with one another.

Later that day

The van arrived and we started loading it. It took a few trips but we were almost finished. "Alright, we're almost done." I said cheerfully. "Yeah, hey where's Ash were gonna be leaving soon." Lauren said looking around. We finished loading the last of the equipment and were ready to go. I checked the time and noticed it was almost 4, I got a little upset. Was Ash not gonna come, did Serena not want him to go.

My thoughts were interrupted when I spotted Ash running towards the van. He reached us and was panting. "Hey.... Sorry.... I'm late." Ash said tired. "It's ok, where's Serena?" I asked looking around. "Oh she said she said she was feeling sick and can't go." Ash answered slightly sad. "Oh, that's too bad." I replied. To be honest though i was kinda happy about what he said.

We all piled in the van and headed off to Viridian City. Ash and I happily talked the whole way. We arrived at the concert hall and began unloading the van and setting up stage. After we were all done with the set up we got ready for a sound check. "Ash you want a preview of the show?" I asked. "Sure, I'd love to." Ash answered cheerfully. I was happy at Ash's response and began to blush. "Come on Katherine, it's time to sing, not fantasize." Dani said bringing me back to reality. "Alright, let's do this!" Lauren yelled cheerfully.

We finished the song and Ash gave us a huge applause. "Wow that was amazing you guys!" Ash yelled clapping. "Thanks Ash." I said smiling. "Alright I'll see you guys later for the show, good luck!" Ash said to us cheerfully. Ash then left the hall. We then continued our sound check and got everything in order. Before we knew it the show was about to start.

I peeked out and looked out the crowd, it was a packed house, I looked down and saw Ash sitting in the front row smiling. Seeing him smile made me blush. "There'll be plenty of time for love after the show." Lauren said snapping me back to reality. "Right." I replied nodding. We then walked out on stage and started the show. "Hello thank you all for coming, we're Cimorelli!" I yelled to the crowd as they cheered.

The show ended and the crowd gave us a huge standing ovation. I thanked them all for coming and we walked of stage. We got changed and saw Ash waiting in a nearby hallway. "That was amazing Katherine!" I said cheerfully. "Thanks so much Ash, I'm so glad you could come." I replied happily. Dani and Lauren met up with us and we walked out of the hall.

It was pouring rain and we were doing our best to keep it off ourselves. The van driver came up to us. "I'm sorry everyone but it's not safe to leave in this rain." The man said slightly sad. "Oh alright then, I guess we'll spend a night at the Pokemon Center." Lauren said. We ran through the heavy rain and eventually found the Pokemon Center.

We got our rooms each room had two beds. Lauren and Dani were sharing one, which means Ash and I are sharing the other. We both got changed into our pjs and got ready for bed. I pulled the blanket over me, but I still felt cold. Ash noticed this and walked over to me. "Katherine are you cold?" Ash asked. "Yeah a little." I replied pulling on my blanket.

Ash then got into bed next to me and wrapped his arm around me. I began feeling warm as Ash brought me in closer. "Is this better?" Ash asked. "Yeah thanks." I replied inching closer to Ash. "Goodnight Katherine." Ash said. "Goodnight Ash." I replied. I know this is gonna be a good night.
