Expressing Feelings

A/N: I know it's been like over a week sense I last updated which I'm very sorry about, but anyway I hope you enjoy the final chapter of this story, I'm very happy with the way it turned out and I hope you guys did as well. I know you guys probably don't care about this A/N so anyways on with the chapter.

Ash POV

I ran after Serena, I never meant for this to happen. If I had known I had feelings for Katherine I never would've asked Serena out. I never meant to hurt her she's probably so upset right now and I can't blame her. I just wish love could be easy but no here I am trying to clean up this lovely mess.

I kept running until I eventually found Serena. She was sitting on a bench crying. "Hey." I said walking up to her. Serena looked up at me but quickly covered her face and continued to cry. I sat down next to her and said "Serena I'm sorry, I never meant for this to happen." "But you clearly love Katherine, why did you ask me out?" Serena asked holding back tears. "I didn't know I had feelings for her until now." I answered. "Ash, do you know how long I waited for you to ask me out, you're all I ever wanted, I love you." Serena replied sobbing.

"Serena again I'm so sorry, I never meant to hurt you, you're a great girl and someday you're gonna find a great guy." I replied trying to cheer Serena up. "I'll never find someone as great as you ." Serena said still sad. "Come on Serena, you know that's not true, you can't let this get you down. In the time I've known you, you've never given up and you can't give up now." I replied.

What I said seemed to cheer Serena up as she stopped crying and gave a small smile. "Thanks Ash." She said softly. "No problem glad to see that smile of yours again." I replied smiling. Serena's smile grew bigger as she hugged me. We broke the hug and she looked at me and said "Now I think you need to go tell Katherine something." "Yeah you're right I do." I replied nodding. Serena and I waved goodbye to each other and I ran off to find Katherine.

Katherine POV

Lauren, Dani, and I were still hanging out in my house. I still can't believe they sent that picture to Ash, but still the thought of Ash and I together made my face glow bright red from blushing. "Thinking about Ash again Katherine." Lauren said to me. "Yeah." I replied still thinking about Ash. "If you're thinking of him so much why don't you go see him?" Dani asked. "Cause he's hanging out with Serena." I replied my smiling going away. "Come on you and him are meant to be together don't worry." Lauren said smiling at me. "You really think so?" I asked. "I know so." Lauren answered.

We continued talking amongst each other until we heard a knock on the door. "I'll get it!" My mom yelled. Dani, Lauren and I looked at each other wondering who was at the door. "Katherine, Ash is here to see you." My mom yelled as Ash walked in. What is he doing here I thought he said he was hanging out with Serena today. "Hey guys." Ash said greeting us. Dani and Lauren nodded at each other as Dani said "Hey Lauren can you help me with something in the other room?" "Sure, no prob." Lauren answered as the two left the room.

Oh my gosh, they really just did that to me. I can't believe them, if they weren't my best friends I'd be so mad at them. "So Ash, what's up, I thought you were with Serena?" I asked breaking the momentary silence. "Oh yeah, well she and I aren't exactly seeing each other anymore." Ash responded rubbing the back of his neck. "Oh I'm sorry to hear that." I responded trying to sound sympathetically, but honestly I was sorta happy to hear that.

"It's fine, but Katherine there's something I need to tell you." Ash said nervously. "Go ahead Ash." I responded hopeful about what he was gonna say. "You see Katherine I... I just... I really like you.... I mean like.... Like a lot." Ash said not being able to get his words together. I was so happy to hear those words. "Ash are you trying to say you... You love me?" I asked him softly. "Yes, yes I am." Ash responded. I was so happy to hear that I didn't even know what to say I just gave him a big smile and hugged him.

We broke the hug but we still stood close to each other smiling at each other as a silence fell over us. "Oh just kiss already!" We heard Dani yell. I figured those two were eased dropping. "Dani!" I yelled annoyed at her. "Well it's not a bad idea." Ash said smiling at me. I gave him a smile as well as we leaned in closer to each other. Our lips met and I could feel the sparks flying. "Yes finally!" Lauren yelled as her and Dani came back into the room smiling at us.

"It's about time you two." Dani said still smiling. "What's all the commotion?" My mom asked coming into the room. "Oh well you see mom, Ash and I are dating now." I responded nervously. "Oh I'm so happy for you two, I just knew Ash was the one for you." My mom responded smiling. "Well I'll leave you kids alone but remember Katherine have fun but not to much fun." My mom said winking at me as she walked out of the room. "Mom!" I yelled my face a bright red.

"Come on Katherine the sun's going down, what do ya say we walk to hills and watch it?" Ash asked. "Yeah sounds good." I said smiling back at him. We walked to the hills and sat down I laced my head on Ash's shoulder as he wrapped his arm around me. We sat there continuing to watch the beautiful sunset, this moment is truly the happiest of my life and I just know with Ash there'll be many more moments as happy as this one.
