Kimmon's POV

I shook my head in disbelief.  "No way, no freaking away, " I muttered under my breath as I made my way to the director's desk in the front of the room.

I walked as fast as I could, in case he changed his mind, hahaha.

When I reached the desk, the director held out his hand to me and I took it.  He shook my hand and said, "Congratulations, you will be playing the role of Mingkwan."

"Thank you, thank you, " I said, clasping my hands together and bowing deeply.  Then he handed me a sheaf of paper and told me that it contained my script and that I should study it and start memorizing my lines.  I said that I would and turned around to go back to my seat.  On my way back I happened to glance at a young man who was looking at me with his mouth slightly open.  It looked like he was studying my face.  I smiled at him and when he smiled back I saw the cutest pair of dimples appear on either side of his cheeks.  Right there and then I knew I was hooked.  Whether he passed his audition or not I resolved to get to know him and make him my friend.

After I sat back on my chair, the director called out, "The next role I will be announcing is the role of Kit.  And the person we have chosen to take this role is Copter Panuwat... (the director paused to read his notes)...Copter Panuwat Kerdthongtavee"  The director read the name very slowly and carefully as if he was afraid to get the last name wrong.

I did not see the face of the person who stood up because I was sitting three rows behind him so his back was to me.  He walked up to the director's desk.  I saw the director shake his hand, say a few words to him and hand him a sheaf of papers that I assumed contained his script.  Then he bowed to the director and turned around to face us.

My heart jumped to my throat and a wild feeling of excitement threatened to overwhelm me. It was the same young man who caught my eye...and my heart?

The director next called out the name of God Itthipat Thanit.  He was going to play the role of Phana, one of the two leading roles.  I studied him.  He was very tall with a muscular build and he was very handsome.  I had the impression that he was cold and arrogant, but I could be wrong.  First impressions are not always right.

"Bas Suradej Pinnirat, where are you?" the director called out, while looking around the room.  A very good looking boy who looked no more than sixteen years stood up and walked up to the director's desk.

Wait, are they hiring minors for this series???  And since all the five roles have been announced, it simply means that this young boy was getting one of the two leading roles.

The director seemed to notice that almost everyone in the room seemed to have questioning looks on their faces, and some were even whispering to each other.

"Mr. Pinnirat," he said, "would you please tell everyone in the room how old you are?"

"I'm eighteen years old," he answered and you could hear everyone let out a sigh of relief.
