Two brothers stood outside a run down apartment building, in New York.

Sam held a flashlight in his left hand and a big knife in his right.

Dean held a slightly bigger knife in his right hand and swung his flashlight around in his left hand. As he surveyed the area he started to feel weird in his stomach.

The two were looking for an Arachne, it had been taking hostages and leaving its victims drained wrapped in cocoons of web.

"Ya ready Sammy?" Dean asked looking over at his younger brother.

Dean nodded he had a really bad feeling in his stomach but they had to get the job done. So he didn't say anything.

The two went in through the cracked open front door. Shinning their flashlights as they crept in. The place was covered wall to wall in webs and blood. It stunk like week old rotten eggs making the boys twitch their noses in the stench. The main floor was huge Bigger than most apartment building lobbies.

"Dude was that you?" Dean joked

"Ha, ha." Sam mocked

Suddenly the two jumped as they heard a kid crying. It came from the other end of the room.

Dean ran over to the direction of the noise without thinking his brother following.
"Dean stop!" Sam said grabbing a hold of his brothers leather jacket. The older make stumbled before almost going into a web. Sam shined his flashlight at the web, they could barely see a small box on the other side.

The older brother looked at his brother
"Thanks," he said as his brother let him go back on his own to feet.

"Uh," Dean said looking into the web
"Is anyone over there?"

The two heard a small whimper from the other side.

"H-help m-m-me." A small girls voice cried out.

Sam looked at his brother concerned. The two had gotten kids out of these soras situations before but this kid sounded younger than what most of the kids were.

"It's gonna be okay." Sam said loud enough so the kid could hear them.
