funny friend syndrome.
if you don't know what it is, let me explain.

it's when that one person in the friend group is always laughing and joking around,
though they secretly feel tired and drained.

they keep a smile on their face,
because they know that if they crumble for one second,
everyone will know,
so they hide and let nothing show.

if they happen to zone out,
if you happen to catch their sad gaze,
they'll quickly smile and make a joke about the day.

that's why whenever I see the funny one of a group,
I can't help but wonder,
"do you suffer from it too?"
