When i was sober

I remember the times you scolded me for doing things

When i was sober

The only thing i wanted to see the most was your smile

Your smile when we look at each other

In the eye

When i was sober it was you

And now I'm drunk

It's still you

I don't mind

You're on my mind either way

And there's nothing I can do

I tried to drink away your words

Trying to forget what you said

By the way I know most

The ones that make me fall apart

But now it's clear that

No amount of alcoholic drink

No amount of it

Can mend my broken heart.
