there was a girl whose name
was known by all, but whose
soul stayed undiscovered.
She was the uncharted
waters of the seven
seas and the galaxies
that have not yet been seen.
They saw her face, but did
not quite look deep enough
into her eyes to catch
a shimmering glimpse of
determination. They
saw the tone of her skin,
the colour of her hair,
the size of her waist, but
never quite paid any
mind to just seeing her.
