Her name is Dandelion and she is a weed, not nearly as aesthetic as the girls named Petunia or Peony. Through her ribcage and the spaces between her ribs, encasing her heart itself, dandelions bloom; but these "flowers" are only weeds, lacking all the ethereal beauty of the daffodils and daisies and dahlias.

BUT WHAT EXACTLY IS THE DIFFERENCE? THEY ARE ALL FLOWERS—ONE WAS SIMPLY GIVEN THE NAME OF A WEED. WHY MUST DANDELIONS BE CONSIDERED ANYTHING LESS THAN THE ROSES, THE LILACS, THE LILIES AND MARIGOLDS AND MAGNOLIAS?
