Dev's POV
We were hiding behind an old jeep from almost half an hour.

"Dev, me jaa rahi hu" Ananya said.

It was the seventh time she said that.

"Ananya bas paanch minutes ruk jao" I said.

And this was the seventh time I was saying it. She gritted her teeth but kept quiet and waited.

Another man came to buy vegetables from the lady. They talked for a couple of minutes. The lady looked at us and showed us a red cloth.

It was him! That's the guy!!

We were waiting for the correct moment and suddenly the owner of the jeep left, with the jeep ofcourse.

The guy who was buying vegetables looked at the jeep and he found us. As soon as he saw our uniforms he started running.

I followed him.

"STOP!!!" I shouted a couple of times but he didn't stop.

I took my gun and shot him.

What an aim! I shot his leg. He fell but still tried to run.

I called Ananya. "Ananya hamari jeep leke aa jao...jaha ham chupe the waha se thoda hi aage hai" I said and ended the call.

Ananya came and we left for the Police Headquarters.

Siddharth's POV 

I and Avneet were interrogating the guy that Dev caught.

Our seniors were waiting outside the room.

"Naam?" I asked.

"Sir mujhe yaha kyu laya gaya hai? Kya kiya hai mene?" He cried.

"Maine naam poocha!!" I said.

"Lokesh" He said.

"Hamare officer ko dekh ke bhage kyu?" I asked.

"Woh...Sir...p-police ko dekh ke koi bhi darr jaata hai" He said.

"Darr jaata hai, tumhari tarah bhagta nahi!! Batao ab!!" I said raising my voice.

He kept quiet.

"Siddharth yeh aise nhi manega" Avneet said and went to him. She raised her hand and he spoke.

"Batata hu...batata hu" He said.

"Sir woh, Raka ke murder me mera haath hai" He confessed.

"Poori baat batao, yeh sab kyu hua? Kaise hua? Kisne kiya?" Avneet said.

"Woh, Raka wafadaar nhi tha. Kuch drugs ke packets woh apne paas rakhne laga tha. Gang ke dusre logo ki uske saath ladai ho gayi. Raka fir bhi nhi maana. Usse tang aakar gang walo ne milkar usse maar daala. Me bhi wahi tha" He narrated.

"Yeh smuggling kabse chal rhi hai?" I asked.

"Pta nhi...mai to naya hu gang me. Maine do weeks pehle hi join kiya" He said.

"Usse pehle kya karte the?" I asked.

"Student tha, Jai Hind College me" He replied.

"Jai Hind me?" I asked, "waha to aur bhi cases..." I said but he cuts me and said.

"Yes Sir, woh uss ladke ko bhi mene hi bataya tha Adderall ke bare me. Ham dono yeh drug lete the. Par Rahul ke paas uss drug ke liye paise nhi the iss liye woh quit karna chahta tha. Me bhi same situation me tha, fir gang walo me mujhe kaha ki agar me gang join karlu to drugs ke liye paise nhi dene honge" He said lowering his lashes.

I shook my head in dissapointment.

I signed Avneet to continue the interrogation.

I went out of the room.

"Chalo finally yeh case thoda to suljha" Purvi Ma'am said. I nodded.

"Siddharth woh USB?" She asked. I gave her the USB.

We plugged it in a laptop. There was a video saved in it.

"Arey yeh to Tanay hai" Kavin said as we played the video."Mera naam Tanay Dogra hai. Me Jai Hind College me padhta hu. Jo bhi yeh video dekh raha hai woh please ise police ko dede. Mere friend Rahul ko drugs ki buri adaat ho gayi thi. Usne last week suicide kar lia since use drugs ke liye paise nhi mil rahe the aur woh unke bagair jee nhi sakta tha. Me uss drugs ki gang ko expose karke rahunga. Aaj raat me uss gang se milne jaa raha hu..." Tanay said and the video finished.
