Ananya's POV
I was roaming in the Forensic Lab, checking all the material I needed for experiments.

Someone came in. I turned.

"Hi Dr. Ananya"  Dev said.

"Oh...Hi!" I said with a smile.

He kept quiet for a couple of seconds. That was weird.

"How are you?" He asked all of a sudden.

"I'm good thanks, you?" I asked. He simply smiled and nodded in reply.

"Kucch kaam tha aapko?" I asked.
He looked in my eyes and kept quiet again.

"Dev?? Are you okk na?" I asked again.

"Ohh...haan haan. Actually....haan yaad aya, yeh file hai" He said giving me a file.

"Dikh raha hai" I said confusingly.

"Ah, I...I mean ispe aapke signature chahiye" He said. I nodded and opened the file.

"Umm...well...jagah nhi hai yaha" I said. He looked at it.

"Arey haan... ye kavin ne jyada bada signature kar diya to usne poori jagah le li. Mere sign chote hai, yaha aage jagah hai yehi pe kar dijiye" He said.

I smiled and nodded. "Sirf Ananya aaega" I said.

"It's okk, yaha ek hi Ananya hai so no problem" He said. I nodded and signed it.

"Thanks" He said as I gave him the file.

I smiled. He smiled.

I nodded. He nodded.

"Kitna ajeeb hai yaar..." I thought.

"Anything else?" I asked.

"Umm, no" He replied.

"Toh jao na!" I said
How weird was he man...!! I thought.

He was still standing there.

I finally signed towards the door.

"Ohh...see you" He finally said. "Bye" I said and he finally left.

I sighed. Damn...

Dev's Pov
I was going to the IPS department when Kv stopped me.

"Abey kaha tha?" He asked.

"Forensic Lab me" I replied.

"Kuch jyada hi time nahi lag gaya tujhe huh?" He teased.

"Shut up yaar!" I said.

"Dude..." I said. He looked at me.

"Ananya me kuch to hai" I said. He looked with a serious face and then burst in a laughter.

I made a poker face.

"Ho gaya?" I asked. "Naah, shaadi ke baad hoga, lekin naam rakh lia hai mene" He said.

I rolled my eyes.

"Tu kabse esa ho gaya? Terko Ananya se pyaar-vyaar to nhi ho gaya? Haww!!! Pehli nazar me pyaar!! Ab kya hoga? Tera kaam me mann kese lagega? Tu dinner lunch skip krega! Tujhe neend nhi aaegi! Fir woh tujhe reject karegi! Fir tu devdas banega! Fir game over!" He said placing his hand on his mouth.

"Dude...seriously!?" I asked annoingly.

"Haan bhai game to seriously over hota hai na" He said.

"Pitega tu kisi din. Me sirf yeh keh raha hu keh Ananya ko dekh ke ajeeb laga" I cleared his 'misunderstanding'.

"Ajeeb? Matlab ghanti baji! Tune maari entriyan aur dil me baji ghantia tang-tang-tang-tang" He started singing and dancing.

"Nautanki saala" I said.

As soon as I saw Purvi Ma'am, I punched his arm. He looked at me and I signed towards her.

He immediately stopped.

"Yeh Police Headquarters hai, yeh sab krna hai to kisi dance reality show me jao!" She said.

"Dev, Ananya ke sign liye?" She asked. I nodded and gave her the file.

She opened it.

"Ananya..Dev Joshi.... Ananya Dev Joshi?" She asked cocking her eyebrow.

"Now this is interesting" She said with a smirk.

I looked at the file. Damn... Our handwritings were similar so it looked like Ananya's signature as Ananya Dev Joshi.

My face became red. Ma'am smiled and left.

"Ab yeh kya chakkar hai? Ananya? Dev?? Joshi?????" Kavin asked wrapping his left arm around my shoulder.

"Teri Bhabhi hai jaa ashirvaad lele jaake" I said sarcastically.

"Okk, Ananya Bhabhi" He shouted.

I shut his mouth. "Saale...chal yaha se!" I said gritting my teeth.
He laughed and we left.
