Their Role in the Club and How/Why They Joined: Gray is the vice president of the Paranormal Oddities & Ghost Hunting Club (long name, I know xD). He became the vice prez not of his own will, honestly. His long time bestfriend just so happens to be the club's president, and they wanted Gray to be their trusted righthand man (someone PLEASE make their OC as Gray's bestie and the club's prez cuz I'm too lazy to make another OC I PROMISE I'LL LOVE YOU FOREVERRR 🥺).

Age & Grade Level: Currently 17 years old, but soon to be 18 and just started Grade 12

Faceclaim + Short Description of Appearance: His FC is Finn Wolfhard. Gray is a handsome young man with his signature unruly raven locks, deepset brown eyes, and sharp yet delicate features. He's tall and lanky, and likes to wear cool "edgy" clothes. He isn't shy when it comes down to accessorizing and doing things like painting his nails. He also has faint scars scattered across his pale skin as well as a smattering of freckles along his nose and cheeks.

Backstory: Gray's mother tragically died during childbirth and he was left in the care of his widowed father. His father is an extremely strict and religious man, and he watched over Gray with an iron fist and was never reluctant to punish his only son even over the smallest offenses.

At the age of thirteen, Gray came to realize that he's gay after his first puppy love bloomed towards a fellow boy he became friends with during a Christian Summer camp. But he continued to deny his identity, and even suffered from horrible internal homophobia. As he grew older, however, he slowly but surely started to accept and be proud of who he is. And so, he decided to come out to his father.

To say that his father was batshit furious would STILL be a grave understatement. Deeply hurtful words were thrown and Gray was even severely beat up. In the end, Gray was kicked out of the house and he was forced to live independently and work part-time to support himself since his Grade 11th year.

Gray is right back where he was in the beginning; insecure and afraid, hiding behind a facade of sunshine and rainbows that he so desperately tries to radiate to the world in an attempt to look okay.

Personality: Gray is a big ol' jokester full of unbridled energy who just wants to have as much fun as possible and there's no shortage of how many times he gets in trouble for all the crazy shit that he says and does. He's quite obnoxious and it can often be really annoying how he doesn't seem to care about ANYTHING, and still keeping the most blinding grin on his face even in the darkest of times. It would be a shocking miracle if anyone is ever somehow able to "tame" this wildcard.

But, underneath all his crude roughness, he's truly a boy with a pure heart. He can never turn away from anyone in need and he is especially soft and even clingy, at times, with his closest friends. He does tend to quickly backtrack, though, when he feels that he's being TOO open and vulnerable.

Strengths & Weaknesses:
-Gray's greatest strength lies mainly in his bravery and how he doesn't hesitate to get himself involved even in the most absurd situations

-What he lacks in inner confidence for himself, he makes up for in his overall rambunctiousness and charging at life head-on

-He's usually the person that most people turn to when they need a healthy dose of courage or if they need to be egged on to do something, and it takes quite a lot for him to be utterly crushed

-His weakness, on the other hand, is how he doesn't think things through first

-He's often WAY too reckless and aggravatingly stubborn in his decisions which can cause some seriously damaging repercussions not just for him, but for the people around him

-He also tends to push people away when he feels they're getting too close for his comfort, and only a select few has managed to break through the tough wall he put up

Hobbies/Interests:
-Gray LOVES music, and he's also a pretty talented singer and can play several different instruments

-In fact, he's the back-up singer and lead guitarist of a rock band that he formed with some friends (people outside of the club)

-He's a stoner boi 🌿

-He's not high all the damn time, but yeah he loves that gUd KuSh

-He's also definitely a risk taker, so anytime an opportunity arises where he has to push himself then ya best believe HE'S👏ON👏IT👏

Dislikes:
-Hocus BOGUS bullshit...as he likes to call it

-He's a H U G E skeptic of the supernatural and the only reason he's in the club is, again, cuz his bestfriend wanted him to be the VP and he's (admittedly) a bit whipped for his bestie

-But just because he's a skeptic doesn't mean he can't have fun

-Oh, no, he absolutely ENJOYS mocking and making fun of the supernatural whenever the club goes ghost hunting. It's almost sadistic, really. All of the club members think he's insane for not being scared and for being totally cHaOtIc

-Besides that, though, he despises people who judge and shit on others simply for being who they are

-He's still terrified of coming out to his friends as a result of what happened with his father, but it really breaks his heart when he sees other folks being broken down by idiotic assholes

-So, he tries to defend them. And, for him, since he can't be proud of himself then he wants to make up for it by helping others to accept and love themselves

-Lastly, he hates thinking about the future

-He really just prefers to live in the moment. He has no idea what the fuck the future has in store nor what he wants to do after graduation, and he sees no point to making all sorts of tiring plans that probably won't even happen

Their Biggest Fear: Ending up completely alone in life with no one to love and for no one to love him back.
