She was empty and lonely

When he began to feel her.

Wanted to change her life,

So he decided to keep her.

She felt safe when he was near

and got rid of all her fears.

But still unsure of one thing,

She didn't know if it was real.

Then one dark night he wasn't home,

And she was feeling alone.

Her heartbeats began to fast,

When she heard the thunder storm.

Dialed his number but no reply.

She just wanted to see him alive,

But every moment the fear got high,

And tears fell down from her eyes.

So she sat and cried on the floor,

Leaped up when heard the knock on the door.

Her heart beat fast when the door opened,

saw him, he looked wet and cold.

Before he could say something,

She held his hand and brought him in.

He saw the tears fall on her cheeks,

She saw his face while  he leaned in.

The fragrance of his breath made her shiver.

He closed his eyes, his lips kissed  hers.

Taste of her lips, alcoholic like wine,

All they wanted was, to stop the time....
