Chapter 151:

It was daytime, the trees were dancing because the wind was blowing and the sun was shining in the sky. A car was moving to its destination fastly.

Neil was sitting in the backseat and Avni was laying in his arms. Avni's eyes were closed and Neil was in shock. Shweta was looking at Avni.

Shweta: Kishore, drive fast. Quickly.

Shweta looked at Neil.

Neil: Avni. Avni, wake up. Avni, what is this? Wake up.

Neil jerks Avni. Neil got angry.

Neil: Avni, wake up. Avni. Avni, wake up.

Shweta cried.

Shweta: Tillu.

Neil looked at her then he looked at Avni.

Neil: see, mom, Avni is not waking up. Ask her to wake up.

Shweta: Tillu, control yourself.

Neil squeezed his nose.

Neil: Av, Avni, Avni, wake. Wake up, Love. See, your Neil is calling you. You will not wake up for me. Hmm?

Neil cried.

Neil: Wake up, my love.

Neil thought to again call her. He again starts tapping Avni's face and called her name.

Neil: Avni? Avni?

Neil was looking at Avni.

Neil: Avni, you are my tigress, right? You are my strong girl. Hmm. Wake up.

Shweta was crying. She thinks and looked around. She looked at the driver.

Shweta: Kishore, do you have water?

Kishore nods.

Kishore: yes, madam.

He picked up the bottle and gave it to Shweta.

Shweta was opening the cup of the bottle: Tillu. Tillu, sprinkle some water on her face.

Neil gulps and nods. Neil took the bottle and took some water on his face. Neil sprinkles some water on Avni's face. Neil tapped Avni's face and called her name but no use then Neil again sprinkles the water on Avni's face. Avni stirs. Neil saw that and tapped Avni's face.

Neil: Avni. Avni, wake up.

Avni tried to open her eyes and then slowly she opened her eyes slightly. Neil smiled. His happiness has no limit.

Avni: Neil.

Neil cupped Avni's face.

Neil: ye, yeah, Avni.

Avni: Neil.

Neil: Avni, I am here. Relax.

Avni closed her eyes. Neil was looking at her. Neil frowns.

Shweta thinks and was shocked.

Shweta: why does she is not having labour pain?

Neil looked at her and was shocked. Neil looked at Avni. Neil cupped Avni's face.

Neil: Avni?

Avni slightly moved her face. Her energy has drained.

Neil: you are not having any pain.

Avni shook her face. Neil and Shweta were shocked. Neil looked at the driver.

Neil: Kishore, what are you doing, drive fast.

Kishore: Sir, already the car is on high speed.

Neil: then why we didn't reach the hospital till now?

Kishore remains silent.

Shweta: Tillu, relax, everything will be fine.

Neil looked at Avni and he kissed her forehead. Neil looked at Avni's womb and touched it.

Neil: please be strong, Baby. Don't leave mamma, papa.

A tear falls from Neil's eyes then he touched his forehead to Avni.

Suddenly, the car stopped. Neil looked at the driver.

Neil: what happened?

Kishore: sir, traffic is jammed.

Neil looked out and saw cars.

Neil: shit.

Shweta closed her eyes and joins her hand.

Shweta prays: God, please help us. Please save my Avni and baby.

Shweta cries.

Kishore: Sir, I know a way to the hospital but it is a long route. It will take ten minutes, minimum.

Neil thinks. Neil looked out. Neil looked at the driver.

Neil: let's go from that route. It will be better than this. Don't know, when this traffic will clear.

Kishore nods. There was a turn on the right side. Luckily, they were at the side. They moved to that path.

Suddenly, Avni screams.

Avni: aah.

Neil and Shweta looked at her and smiled with teary eyes. Avni again screamed and Neil cupped her face.

Neil: Avni, relax, we are almost there.

Avni: aah, Neil, it is paining.

Neil: just a few more minutes.

Avni: I will die today.

Neil was shocked. If the situation was normal and months were completed then Neil would have smiled at Avni's statement but it is going to be a premature delivery.

Avni squeezed her eyes.

Avni: this pain will kill me. Aah.

Neil caressed her hair

Neil: please, don't say this Avni.

Neil touched his face to Avni's cheek.

Neil: please.

Avni cupped his face. She also understands what Neil was going through. Neil looked at her. Avni opened her eyes.

Avni: Don't take the stress. Everything will be fine.

Neil looked at Avni and smiled to see her concern. Neil kissed Avni's cheek. Avni smiled. Neil didn't care about who is with them. His only focus is on Avni.

Soon, they reached the hospital. It was Neil's hospital and he called doctor Prachi there because he wanted his baby to come into this world in his hospital. It was his wish and also his hospital was nearer than Dr Prachi's hospital.

Neil got down from the car. The stretcher was already ready. Neil and others took out Avni and lays her on the stretcher. They took Avni to the hospital. They were passing by the corridor and Neil was holding Avni's hand. They came near the room. Doctor Prachi was also there. She talked to Neil who was holding Avni's hand. Avni was taken to the room but Avni didn't leave Neil's hand. The ward boys stopped. Avni signed Neil come near. Neil looked at the people. The doctor looked away. Neil leans toward Avni and caressed her hair.

Neil: yes, Avni.

Avni: remember your promise.

Neil looked at Avni and moved back. Avni was taken from there and Neil was looking at her. Their hands separated and Neil looked at his hand. Neil looked at Avni and once all entered, the door was closed. Neil looked at his hand and felt his heart heavy. Shweta came to him and kept her hand on Neil’s shoulder. Neil looked at her and got emotional.

Shweta: believe in God, everything will be fine.

Neil nods then he looked at the room. They heard Avni's screaming. Neil panicked. He can't handle Avni's scream. On the other side, the nurses were handling Avni and Doctor was getting ready. The doctor wore gloves. Avni was in pain.

Soon, Prakash, Bebe, Neela maa, Ashish and Arnav came.

Nm: Avni?

Neil sighed at the door of the room. Neela maa and others looked there. They heard Avni's screaming. Arnav wipes his face. Neela maa prays.

On the other side, Avni's eyes were closed and she was clenching the pillow. She was in severe pain.

Nurse: calm down. Relax.

Doctor: Avni, relax.

Suddenly, Avni stopped struggling and she loses her grip on the pillow. The doctor and nurses were shocked. Nurses looked at the doctor.

Doctor: Avni.

The doctor turned Avni's face because her face was on the other side. The doctor tapped Avni's face but no use. She looked at the nurses and thinks.

Outside the room, Neil and others were standing and were looking at the room.

Shweta thinks.

Shweta in mind: why Avni Is calm? If she has labour pain then she should scream or cry like she was doing earlier but why she is calm now?

Shweta thinks. She looked at Neela maa and Bebe and she saw they are also worried and looking at her.

Neil also noticed that Avni has stopped and they did not even hear the baby's crying. Neil's heart was sinking. Neil was looking at the door and he touched Shweta's arm.

Neil: Mom, why there is no sound?

Shweta looked at him and she holds Neil's hand.

Shweta: it happens, Tillu.

Neil looked at her but he was not satisfied. He is a doctor and he had some idea about delivery.

The doctor came out. Neil and others looked at her. Neil was shaking inside. The doctor came to Neil and others also came. Neil was looking at the doctor and was worried.
