Chapter 21:

It was daytime, a minibus was standing outside the Khanna mansion. Inside it, Avni was looking at Neil who turns his face to her and frowns he looks here and there and realized that there is not seat vacant. Neil turns to his side seat then he looks at Avni.

Neil: ab you sit here. I will make space somewhere.

Avni looks down. Neil gets up.

Bebe: where you will make the space, Where things will go. Avni, one seat is vacant with Neil. Go and sit.

Avni: ab.

Bebe: what?

Maddy: how can she sit with Neil?

Bebe: why not. They are going to get married. And if Kareena and Aman can sit together then why not they?

Maddy remains silent.

Bebe: go and sit. Go.

Avni nods and goes she sits and Neil looks at her.

Bebe: now you are waiting for an invitation, sit.

Neil nods and sit. Avni keeps her bag between them which offended Neil. Didn't she trust him? Neil keeps that up where things kept. Avni looks at him.

Neil: Trust is something that is the base of any relation.

Avni looks away then she turns to him.

Avni: it is not about trust. My phone is in that and I have to instruct the team about the preparations that's why I kept it here. Without knowing the reason, concluding things is also not good.

Neil: oh, sorry.

Neil again keeps the bag between them and Avni smiles that how easily he listen to her.

Avni in mind: cute Gorilla.

Avni smiles and looks out.

Shweta whispers: they will fight like this?

Prakash: relax, every relationship grows with time. They need time to understand each other.

Shweta: hope so.

Then the journey was silent. Avni's phone rings and she talks. She cuts one call and the second rings. Like this 4, 5 times her phone rings.

Maddy: why people can't keep their phones on silent mode if they have no time then why do they go on vacations.

Avneil looks at her. Neil looks at Avni.

Bebe: don't know why people can't mind their own business.

Shweta suppresses her lips. Bebe glares Maddy.

Bebe whispers: shut your mouth Maddy if again you utter a single word then I will get you down from the bus. Got it. If you are going there it is because of them don't forget that we plan this trip for them. So, shut your mouth and enjoy the trip. Got it.

Maddy nods.

Bebe turns back. Avneil were sitting on the opposite side, one seat after the other.

Bebe: Avni, you do your work. Forget her. Think she is not here I know you are very busy and just came here for us and I really appreciate that so don't worry about these people and enjoy, hmm.

Avni and Neil smile.

Neil: I am sorry on the behalf of Bua.

Avni: it's ok.

Avni looks at her phone. Then Avni was looking outside of the bus she saw a peacock.

Avni: Aru, see, peacock.

Arav comes to the back seat of Avni and stands there.

Neil: stop the bus.

Arav: let's go there.

Avni: but.

Neil: come.

Neil and all get down of the bus and go to see the peacock. Avni was smiling Neil looks at her and finds a child in it. Neil smiles. Avni clicks the picture of the peacock she sits and takes a picture with Arav and peacocks were behind them. Neil also takes her picture secretly.

Sonia: Avni, Neil come, let's take a group selfie.

Avneil nods and goes. They take the picture and Neil keeps the hand on Avni's upper arm unknowingly as he was behind her. Avni looks at her shoulder and they click the picture.

Arnav: Avni, look here.

Neil realised that his hand is on his shoulder. Avneil looks at each other and the picture clicked.

Sonia: Avni, Neil.

They look at them and Neil takes his hand back and they felt embarrassed. They compose themselves and smiles. Finally, the normal picture was taken.

Bebe: now come. Let's go.

All nods and goes to sit. Avneil were feeling embarrassed so they did not talk to each other.

Later, Avni was talking on the phone and suddenly the bus jolts. Everyone moves and tries to save them. Neil keeps the hand on the front seat. Avni was about to hit the seat but Neil keeps the hand in front of her she got saved. Avni looks at Neil who was looking at her. Their eyes lock. Avni breaks the eye lock as she hears the person who was on call. Avni looks down and they felt awkward. Avni talked on the phone.

Avni: ab, he, hello. Yaa, ok.

Avni cuts the call.

Avni: ab, aa, thank, thank you.

Neil nods by avoiding eye contact.

Neil: it's ok.

Avni looks outside. Neil smiled to see her.

After sometimes:

Arav: papa.

Arnav turns to him. Neil and Avni too, turn.

Arav: we are in the forest, right.

Arnav: yes.

Arav: animals live in the forest, right. Our teacher told us.

Arnav: yes.

Arav: which animals live there?

Arnav: lion, tiger, rabbits, elephants, monkey, many others.

Arav: monkeys?

Arnav: yes.

Arav: then Gorillas also live there?

Avni was drinking the water she splits that and coughs. Neil looks at her.

Neil: you ok?

Avni nods she wipes her mouth with her hand.

Arav: uncle?

Avneil looks at him.

Arav: did you see Gorillas.

Arnav: Araaav. Bad manners he is uncle and his name is Neil he is not Gorilla.

Arav: but Bua called him, Gorilla.

Aman was sitting behind him.

Aman: she has the right, Arav.

Avni turns her face and glared at him he chuckles.

Arav: means.

Kareena: means they are going to marry.

Arav: oh so when I marry then that girl will call me, Gorilla.

All laughs.

Arnav: don't know. Now enough of questions see outside maybe you see some animals.

Arav: maybe I see Gorilla.

Avni whispers: it is here.

Neil turns to her and glared at her. Avni looks at him.

Avni: what?

Neil: I heard that. And you taught him that, right?

Avni: why would I teach him? He heard me.

Neil: so, am I look like Gorilla?

Avni: yaa.

Neil shocked.

Neil: what?

Avni: truth is the truth I can't deny it.

Neil was shockingly looking at her. Avni turns her face to the other side and suppressed her lips. She smiled. Neil thinks and smirks naughtily he leans to her and Avni felt his breath near her ear she gets nervous and her heartbeat increases.

Neil whispers: well, you are going to become Mrs Gorrila. Now you have to live with this Gorilla your whole life. Congratulations.

Avni's heartbeat was uneven she bits her lower lip. Neil smiled and moved back. Avni didn't dare to turn to him as her cheeks were red if she turns she will get caught.
