Chapter 94:

At the time of the evening, Avni entered the Mehta house. She saw the whole family is sitting in the living area. Avni smiled to see them and goes to sit with them. She keeps her phone on the table.

Aman: Di, where did you go?

Avni looked at him.

Avni: aa, hospital?

Nm: hospital? But why?

Avni was about to reply to her.

Ashish: are you ok, Princess? Why didn't you tell us you are not well? Someone of us would have come with you.

Avni: papa, relax. I went to meet someone.

All smiled except Ashish.

Ashish: whom?

Sonia: of ho papa Ji, whom she will go to meet. Of course, Neil.

All looked at Sonia. Sonia realised how she talked to Ashish. She bits her tongue.

Sonia: sorry.

Everyone laughed. Arnav shook his head.

Avni: no, I went to meet a friend there.

Kareena: friend.

All youngsters: hmmm.

Avni looked at them she got embarrassed so she grabbed her phone and goes from there. All smiled. Neela maa thinks.

At the time of the night, Ashish was sitting on the bed by resting his back to the head of the bed. Neela maa comes to him and sits in front of him.

Nm: Ashish?

Ashish: hmm.

Nm: don't you think, now we have to let Avni go back to her home.

Ashish frowns.

Nm: till when we make her stay here. She is missing Neil and the whole Khanna family, I have seen that in her eyes.

Ashish nods and said hmm.

Ashish: but I want to spend as much time as I can.

Nm: you are right at your place but she is married now. She has a family and she has some responsibilities towards them.

Ashish: you are right but how can I ask her to go what if she thinks that we don't want her here.

On the other side, Neil was talking to Kareena on the call though it was embarrassing but he can't trust Maddy and also don't want to involve Avni in that. There were two reasons behind that first Avni was also disturbed because of her treatment and the second reason was Maddy she will try to target Avni if something happened so he has to talk to her.

Neil: how are you?

Kareena: Good, how are you?

Neil: fine.

Neil hesitates to ask.

Neil: ab, aa, Kareena, did you go to XYZ hospital some days ago?

Kareena was shocked.

Kareena: ab, aa, b, bro, n.

Neil: don't lie, I am a doctor, I have my links. I know you went there and I also know why you went there.

Kareena looked down.

Neil: see Kareena, it is embarrassing to talk about it but also necessary. The medicine you are taking is not good for you. It can cause complications later. I can create complications in your pregnancy.

Kareena: he will get angry now.

Neil: if these medicines affect your health then he will get more angry. Kareena, don't be afraid of his anger if he gets angry then it will also be for your betterment and he has the right to get angry. First, you took a big decision without his consent and second he loves you so he will think about your betterment. Talk to him, he will understand.

Kareena: ok.

Neil: if he gets angry then do tell me, I will talk to him.

Kareena: thank you, bro but I will handle it.

Neil smiled.

Neil: good and stop those medicines.

Kareena: ok, bro.

Neil smiled.

On the other side, Avni came into the room of Ashish and Neela maa she was rubbing her hands.

Nm: what happened? Do you want to say something?

Avni looked at him.

Avni: mamma, Papa, I, I want to go back to my home it have been three days, I am here now I should go back.

Ashish looked at her then he looked at Neela maa who was looking at him. She blinks her eyes.

Ashish: ok, you can go, tomorrow.

Avni smiled.

Ashish: but, first ask Neil to have dinner with us tomorrow then he can take you from here.

Avni and Neela maa smiled.

Avni: ok.

Avni goes to her room and was very happy but then she remembered about her treatment, her eyes are filled with tears and she folds her hands and closed her eyes.

Avni prays in her heart.

Avni: please God, show us some way. Please, bless us with a child. Please.

Tears roll from her eyes. Avni opened her eyes.

The next day, at the time of the evening, Neil entered the Mehta house and he was surprised to see the view in front of him. Avni, Ashish, Aman and Arnav were playing carom board and Arav was in Avni's lap.

Avni: papa is doing cheating, I am not playing.

Neil and everyone smiled.

Ashish: don't lie, rockstar, I did not do any cheating you are losing that's why you are making excuses.

Avni opens her mouth.

Avni: I am lying.

Ashish: yes.

They starts arguing and others were enjoying it. Aman and Arnav also got involved in the argument. Avni gets angry and spoiled the game by shaking the carom board and she gets up. Neil raised his eyebrows. Avni goes to sit on the couch and folds her arms. Ashish goes to her and sits beside her. Ashish pulls Avni's cheek and sings Aye Dil Tu laya hai bahar. All joins him and they tried to pacify Avni. Avni was going to the stairs but Ashish holds her arm and all tickles her. Neil smiled to see them. Avni laughed. All were smiling. Neela maa turns her face and saw Neil.

Nm: Neil?

Avni turns.

Nm: Why are you standing there? Come inside.

Neil smiled and came to them.

Neil: I was seeing how you all are pacifying this lady don.

All smiled. Avni glared at him.

Avni: Papa, I have changed my mood now I want to stay here for some more days.

Neil widens his eyes. Other smiled. Avni makes a face and goes from there. Neil was looking at her.

Later, Avni and Ashish were standing in Avni's room and looking at the certificates and awards. Avni looked at Ashish and saw the pride on his face which she wanted to see for five years. Avni picked a trophy and looked at it. She turned to Ashish and gives to Ashish.

Avni: my first award as an event planner.

Ashish took that and kissed it. He was feeling proud of Avni.

Ashish keeps it at the place and turned to Avni. Ashish holds her shoulders and sighs

Ashish: I am so proud of you.

Avni smiled with moist eyes. Ashish hugs her. Avni was feeling her heart light.

Later, Avni and Neil had dinner with the Mehta family. They came outside, Avni met her family. She hugged Ashish.

Avni: take care of yourself.

Ashish: yes ma'am, you also take care of yourself and your family.

Avni smiled and nodded. Avneil got in the car and everyone waves hands. Avni also her hand and they go. Ashish sighed. Ashish and Neela maa looked at each other and smiled.

Avni and Neil were on the way, Avni was looking out from the window and was smiling. Neil saw her then he looked at the road and smiled.

Neil: seems like you had a good time with your family.

Avni smiled.

Avni: yes, after years we all were together and it happened because of you.

Neil frowns.

Neil: me? What did I do?

Avni: if you would not become my strength then I would not realise that things can never be like before so instead of wishing them to be like before we have to try to make it memorable.

Neil smiled.

Avni: I missed Riya but the moments which I got are also precious for me. I had lost hope that I will experience those moments in my life again. You made me realise that nothing is perfect in this world we have to be happy with what we have. After losing Riya, I started running from the problems and I will continue that if you would not encourage me for talking to papa.

Neil smiled.

Avni: so because of you, I got my family back and also got a loving in-law.

Neil was happy to see Avni happy.

Avni: and I will not say thank you to you because this word has no place in our relationship, we are one.

Neil: correct. We both have the patent right on each other.

Avni: official trademark.

They chuckled at that. Soon, they reached home. As soon as they entered they saw the whole family is present there. They were smiling but it faded to see Prakash who was in anger. Neil frowns. Avni and Neil looked at each other then at Prakash.
