The darkness took over the daylight and birds went back to their nests but roads were still flowing with the cars and other vehicles.

In the Khanna mansion, Avni was standing in the room near the couch and was talking on the phone. Neil was not there.

Someone snatched the phone from her. Avni was shocked to see Neil. Neil puts the phone on speaker.

Man: so if you want to live then do as I am saying else your first day there will be your last day.

Neil was shocked he looked at Avni. Avni snatched the phone and cuts the call. She throws the phone on the couch.

Neil: who was he and what he was saying?

Avni: Nothing. He was barking nonsense nothing else.

Neil: he was threatening you.

Avni: that what I called barking. Leave it I am too tired so I am going to sleep.

Neil was shocked.

Neil: Are you serious? Someone is threatening and you are saying that you want to sleep.

Avni goes to the dressing table and pulls her sleeves up to the elbow and picks the lotion.

Avni looks at him in the mirror.

Avni: there is nothing to tell and don't worry it is a normal thing. This is not the first time when I am getting these types of threats it is normal in business. In every business, there are some rivals who want to get success by threatening others so relax.

Neil grins his teeth and thinks.

Avni's phone rings she looks at Neil and goes to pick the phone.

Man: What do you think about our marriage program?

Avni: yes, Mr Rajput, I will do it. I said yes to your PA and starts the work also.

Neil gets angry and goes out in anger. Avni looks at him. Avni thinks.

Later, Avni comes after changing and saw Neil is laying on the bed she knew he is angry with her. Avni thinks and covers him with the duvet properly and goes to switch off the lights. She lays on the bed. Neil opens his eyes and thinks. Avni was also awake and thinking about Neil.

The next day, Avni was helping Shweta in arranging the table. Neil comes and he was ready to go to the hospital.

Neil: mom, I am going.

Avni: Neil, have breakfast then go.

Neil: mom, I have some work so I am going. Bye.

Shweta and Bebe look at him. Avni's eyes were also on Neil.

Avni looks at her. She told them everything.

Avni: now Neil wants me to back off from this project. Is it not a stupid demand?

Shweta: It is a serious matter.

Avni runs to her room.

The whole day passed like this. Avni was busy with her work and she came out of the office at 10:30 pm. She frowns to see Neil's car.

Avni: Neil?

Avni goes there and saw Neil is sleeping in his car. Avni frowns she knocks on the window two times. Neil wakes up and sees Avni. Neil makes the window down.

Avni: what are you going here?

Neil: get in the car. It is already too late.

Avni understands that he is afraid because of that threat call. Avni smiles to see his concern. She goes to the other side and gets in the car. Neil starts the car. On the way, Avni was looking at Neil who was aware of her that he felt her gaze but did not show that. Neil looks out from the window then he concentrates on the road. Soon, they reached.

Avni comes with the tray of food and keeps that on the table in front of Neil. Neil knew if he refused to eat then she will also not eat so he decided to have dinner. They have dinner silently. Avni tries to talk but Neil looks away.

Neil: no talks in between the dinner.

Avni: you are not talking to me then what do I do?

Neil looks away. Avni thought to talk after dinner but Neil goes to Prakash to discuss the project. Avni sleeps by waiting for him. Neil comes and saw Avni is sleeping. Tiredness was clearly shown on her face. Neil sits near her and caresses her hair.

Neil: I am concerned about you. I am not against your work but I want to see you fine and safe.

Neil looks at her.

The second day also passed like this. Avni comes back early as she wants to talk to Neil and tomorrow was her flight. Avni comes into the room and to see her, Neil gets up from the couch and was going. Avni blocked his way. Neil tried to go from another side, Avni blocked his way again. Neil looks at her then he looks away.

Neil: leave my way.

Avni: No. I want to talk to you and I will not let you go till you will not listen to me.

Neil looks at her. Avni shrinks her shoulders and raises her eyebrows. Neil gets irritated and goes to sit on the bed. Avni looks at him and sighs. She goes to him and sits she signs. Avni looks at Neil who turns his face away. Avni smiles she finds his expression cute but he was trying to ignore her.
