She looked at the file in her hands seriously and at her employee Mr.Ram who was explaining to her that how important is this deal to their company. Surely, it will be a great deal as per the profit percentage they are offering to them.

" Maam, some people of their company are waiting for you in the conference room. AJ Sir and Aditya Sir are already there." He informed her.

" Okay but I am not coming there as I am not interested in this deal. You can go there and tell my opinion to Dad and Bhai." She said to him who looked surprised at her as he didn't understand why she is backing out of such a great deal.

Mr. Ram went to the conference room where AJ and Aditya looked at him questioningly. He looked at the people who came for the deal and took out his mobile. He typed out the message to Aditya saying him that Piyali is not interested in this deal and she is not coming to the meeting.

Aditya frowned at the message and showed it to AJ who was also surprised as she never behaves like this. They continued their meeting with the clients.

Piyu was looking outside the window of her cabin thinking deeply. She took a deep breath closing her eyes and opened them when she heard a knock on the door.

She said to come in without turning and was gazing outside the window.

" Why did you do it?" That person asked coming inside.

" Is it because of me?"

" Is it because of I am involved in this deal?"

" I know you are the Princess of AJ and you can ruin anyone within just snap of your fingers."

" Why didn't you turn up?"

" Tell me Piyali."

Piyu turned towards the door and stayed calm looking at the person.

" What did I do?" Piyu asked calmly.

" You didn't come to the meeting and your father said that they need some time to think about this. They are thinking only because you didn't turned up."

" This is my company and I can do whatever I want." Piyu said sitting on her chair with attitude.

" I know but I don't want this deal getting cancelled because of me."

Piyu heard and sighed loudly.

" Have a seat Ms.Tanya." Piyu said pointing at the chair in front of her.

Tanya sat awkwardly.

" This is not because of you." Piyu said after sometime.

Tanya looked at her stunned.

" Then why?" She asked.

" Sammy told me once that you were asked to drug him by your boss to find out his secrets." Piyu said.

Tanya looked at her confused.

" So how does that matter with this deal?" Tanya asked.

" Of course it matters. That day they asked you to do it with Sameer and in future they might do it with us also." Piyu said folding her hands.

" Do you really think that I will do such a low thing?" Tanya asked.

Piyu stayed calm.

" I acted like I drugged Sameer because I knew it was him whom they wanted to trap. If I didn't do it then someone might have done it. That's why I stepped in and acted like I have done it." Tanya said looking down all the while.

" You don't need to explain me anything. As I said earlier, it's not about you. I don't like our company to associate with such campanies........ that's all." Piyu answered sighing.

" Really?" Tanya asked.

" Yes."

" So you are not angry at me?" Tanya asked hopefully.

" No." Piyu replied in monotone.

" But after what happened......." Tanya tried to say.

" I don't want to talk about it." Piyu cut her off.

" Please Piyali, it is eating me from years, I want to let it go." Tanya said with tears.

Piyu looked at her vulnerability.

" Ok." She sighed.

" I am not trying to justify anything or trying to explain to you, I just want to talk about it because I didn't talk about it with anyone after what had happened that day." Tanya whispered looking down and Piyu looked at her shocked.

" I don't know what had happened to me that day. I always had this fear inside me that I will lose Sameer to you because he was much closer to you than me. He would be with me but he would always talk about his friends especially about you. I used to get irritated but I let it go thinking you people are his friends. But it continued like that only.....whenever he is with me he used to think about you and talk about you only. Whenever we are alone there was no us, there was only Sameer and Piyali." Tanya said with a distant look on her face smiling sadly.

Piyu looked at her with tears and felt sorry for her.

" So I stopped him from hanging out with you people and from then our fights increased. We used to fight daily and whenever he brings the topic of break up, unknowingly I used to go hysterical. I used to cry so much and he stops talking about break up and console me. I knew he was fed up of everything and so I was but I wasn't ready to let go of him." Tanya said wiping her tears.

" I felt jealous of you whenever he looks at you, talks about you and move close to you..... I thought I will lose him and I tried to create misunderstanding between you two. Trust me Piyali he didn't believe me when I said to him that you pushed me from stairs. He said he would prove me that you didn't do it. But I still don't understand how the things went that day. I got punishment for what I did to you.....he never talked to me or even looked at me after that day. He didn't said anything to me because he blamed himself for everything and that time I realised we were over. Nothing can happen between us and we weren't meant to be. He was never mine actually in the first place." Tanya let her heart out with tears continuously flowing from her eyes.

Piyu just sat there calmly taking in what all she said.

Both were silent for sometime.

" You loved him. Didn't you?" Piyu whispered and Tanya looked at her shocked.

" You loved him." Piyu confirmed looking at her.

Tanya chuckled sadly.

" Yes I did. I loved him but he never did. I liked him when I saw him for the first time. But when I got to know him and his character, I fell for him. Any girl would fall for him because he is just like that. I was on cloud nine when he accepted my proposal to date each other." Tanya said smiling.

Piyu smiled at her.

" You also loved him. Didn't you?" Tanya asked her.

" Yes I did. I didn't know what it was at first. I thought it was just friendship only as I didn't understand my feelings for him. But later when I got to know about my feelings for him I tried to deny a lot." Piyu said looking down.

" Then why didn't you said anything to him?" Tanya asked her frowning.

" Because I didn't want to lose him and his friendship in the name of love. I was scared about what he would think about me. I had this fear in me what if he doesn't feel same about me. And when I mustered up my courage to tell him, it was too late as you two were already together and I let it go because I didn't want to come in between you two. I was happy seeing him happy." Piyu said to her.

Tanya stared at her in disbelief.

" What?" Piyu asked her.

" You are so dense." Tanya said in disbelief.

" Oh God! Why everyone keeps telling me that I am dense?" She groaned hiding her face in her hands.

Tanya laughed at her.

" You know everyone around you two can see how much he adores you, how much he likes you and how much he loves you. Didn't you ever noticed how he looks at you? He looks at you with love Piyali and that used to make me so much jealous of you." Tanya said.

" It looks like everyone had known about our feelings for each other except us." She said pouting.

" Yes because you two were too dumb to notice anything." Tanya said shaking her head at Piyu.

" I am sorry Piyali for seperating you two.....I am really sorry for everything I did and for the pain I caused you. Sorry doesn't erase what I did but I just want you to know that I feel sorry." Tanya said with tears holding Piyu's hands.

" It's okay Tanya. Past is past but the important thing is how we are today. To ease your guilt and pain I would like you to know that I forgave you." Piyu said smiling squeezing her hands.

Tanya looked surprised at her and cursed herself for hurting such a pure soul.

" Thank you so much Piyali. I feel very light right now like weight has been lifted off my chest." Tanya said smiling with tears and Piyu hugged her.

" It's okay to let it go because letting go of our past only makes us to move on in our lives. First it was difficult for me to forgive Sammy also but when I forgave him, it was easy for us to move on in our lives and see today how happy we are." Piyu said smiling at her.

Tanya smiled and adored her optimism towards love and life.

" I can understand now why he loves you so much." Tanya said making Piyu blush.

" Are you two together now? Or still in confessing stage only?" Tanya teased her.

" No we confessed long back only and we are together now. Soon, we are going to get married also." Piyu said smiling widely with love shining in her eyes.

" See this is what I see everytime you both talk about each other." Tanya said pointing at Piyu's eyes.

" What?" Piyu asked confused patting her face.

" Love." Tanya said and Piyu looked down shyly.

" I am so happy for you both." Tanya said hugging Piyu.

" Thank you." Piyu hugged her back.

" Tanya, do you still love him?" Piyu asked hesitatingly looking at her and Tanya could just smile at her concern.

" No. I have moved on from him. But I couldn't move on from that day after what I did to you as this regret and guilt wouldn't let me. But now, when you said you forgave me, I got a hope and I will surely move on from my past." Tanya said determined.

Piyu smiled at her.

" Thank you so much for everything Piyali." Tanya said smiling back at her.

" Call me Piyu. My friends call me Piyu." Piyu said grinning at her.

" No! I don't deserve your friendship and Rads would kill me if she comes to know about this." Tanya said in fear.

Piyu laughed out loudly.

" No, she won't. She is not that bad you know and you deserve every happiness in this world. Not everyone realises their mistakes and apologizes for it." Piyu paused.

" And I wish that you should also get your prince charming soon." She said winking at her making her blush.

" I should go now, they must me waiting for me." Tanya said when her phone started ringing and went to the door.

But that time only door has been opened and came in Mr.Ram.

He just stood staring at Tanya while Tanya was checking her bag for her ringing phone.

Piyu observed the scene before her and she smirked internally at them rubbing her palms thinking that it's time for the start of a new love story.

" Why are you looking at me like that?" Tanya asked when she saw Piyu smirking and this snapped Ram out of his daze.

" Nothing. Tanya meet Mr.Ram our efficient employee and Mr.Ram meet my friend Tanya." She introduced both of them to each other.

" Hello." They greeted each other shaking their hands.

Ram was staring stupidly at Tanya who is looking around to avoid his intense gaze which is making her heart race.

Piyu cleared her throat which made both of them look at her.

" Maam, Mr.Khanna is here." Ram said.

" What is he doing here at this time?" Piyu frowned looking at her watch as it is time where he will be drowned in back to back meetings.

All three of them walked outside. Tanya went on her way towards the lift waving at Piyu who waved her back smiling while Ram just followed Tanya.

Tanya stopped abruptly and turned. She saw Sameer walking in with attitude and arrogance and everyone stood up to greet him. She saw Piyu stood there staring at him with all the love she has for him.

When his gaze met hers, his eyes softened and a wide smile took over his face. He walked towards her fastly and quickly embraced her in a tight hug. He sighed in relief inhaling her fragnance and buried his face into her hair.

Piyu was surprised at his sudden entry but when he hugged her, she realised how much she was missing him and hugged him tightly.

" What are you doing here at this time? You have an important meeting right?" She asked him pulling away.

" You were not answering my calls." He answered simply.

She remembered that she was talking to Tanya at that time and didn't notice his calls.

" You came here to meet me leaving an important meeting just because I didn't answer your calls?" She asked baffled.

" Yes." He shrugged.

" Sammy!" She exclaimed.

Everyone there smiled looking at the most adorable couple they have ever seen and their love for each other is beyond their understanding.

Though she acted angry on him, she smiled thinking how much love he showers on her and how he makes her feel loved all the time.

Tanya was watching everything from afar with a smile on her face and she felt content looking at both of them together. She walked into the lift with a wide grin on her face as she was going to start a new life from now onwards and all these emotions on her face didn't go unnoticed by Ram.

Piyu smacked on Sam's shoulder and went away acting all angry on him.

" See Priya is calling me. Let me guess, you are not lifting her calls." Piyu glared at him showing her phone.

Sameer answered the call.

" Maam, why don't you and my boss get married soon because he clearly couldn't stay away from you and comes running to you everytime he misses you leaving all the work on my head at the last minute. This is creating a whole lot of tension for me when he goes missing from the office at the exact time of the meeting. Please get married soon." Priya pleads.

" Ms. Priya, I see you keep complaining about me to my fiancee everytime." Sameer said sternly on the phone making Piyu laugh.

" SIR!" She exclaimed from other side of the phone in shock.

" Yes it's me." He said.

" Sorry Sir." She said.

" It's okay.....I forgive you this time because I really liked what you said about us getting married soon. Now if you please excuse us, we will be on our way to plan our wedding." He said to Priya on phone who sighed in relief  and cut the call.

Piyu's heart flutters whenever he speaks like this.

She never for once thought that her Unrequited Love story will get a happy ending.

She never for once thought that her Unrequited Love will turn to Requited.

She never for once thought that she would marry the person who is her first crush and her first love.

She never for once thought that she would be friends with Tanya and will have a closure with her and the past.

" Why are you looking at me like that?" He asked smiling at her.

" I Love You." She said smiling.

" I Love You too." He replied grinning.

His heart flutters whenever she says those three words. How much he long to hear those words, how much he longed for her and her love, how much he longed to meet her again when they got separated.

They both never for once thought that their Unrequited Love will turn into Requited someday.

They both hugged each other tightly and never want to let go of each other.
