ave you ever felt like you were trying to escape something with all your might but you couldn't? As if you were trying to protect yourself from drowning, drowning into a deep dark pit. You fight it, arms and legs thrashing out, head moving from side to side so you don't let it get a hold of you. You try, you try again, you try a thousand times, but you couldn't defeat it. It overpowers you, it grips you tightly and then your body becomes lax, you could fight it no longer, for it has captured you, made you it's prisoner in its whole dark world. What do you do then?

She let it take over herself; let it wash through herself night after night for she knew she was fighting a losing battle. She was trying to find her anchor, but there was none, there was no one. She let those tears slip past her eyelashes. She could hold them no longer. She tried to scream, tried to wail, tried to cry out to someone so that they could help her. But, she couldn't find her voice; only a whisper came out through her lips, the slightest of whispers, 'help me'. But there was no one to listen, no one.

Maybe you would call her a coward or worse than that. She let it succumb her. She let herself slip into the nightmare once again...
